    How to have Dojo support disabled by default and just enable it if you want to use it ? I have the problem that dojo support is automaticly loaded when using any form. Even without any dojo elements.     Hi All, I want to enable Access for assistive devices in System Preferences programmatically. But Problem is that my application is not running as root user and i do not want my application to be as root user and also should not ask for any authentication in between. I want to tap all keyboard events globally. I am using CGEventTapCreate() for the same.In the documentation of CGEventTapCreate() API it is mentioned that, Event taps receive key up and key down events if one of the following conditions is true: The current process is running as the root user. Access for assistive devices is enabled. In Mac OS X v10.4 & later, you can enable this feature using System Preferences, Universal Access panel, Keyboard view. I tried manually by checking the Enable Access for assistive devices from System Preference and it gives me expected output. So is there any way to do the same via program without asking for authentication and also application is not running as root user? Thanks, Dheeraj.

    I am about to run a massive data insert into my DB. I have managed to work out how to enable and rebuild non-clustered indexes on my tables but I also want to disable/enable primary keys. You can't disable the clustered index for the primary key as the table is inaccessible when that is done and my attempt to do a ALTER TABLE for constraints does not work as I think that is only for foreign keys. Do you know of a way to Disable the Primary Key and Re-Enable After SQL Bulk Insert. NOTE: This is over numerous tables and so I don't know the exact primary key specifications eg/name etc

    I am trying to use curl built with NSS (not built with OpenSSL) on Fedora 14 to connect to a webpage over https. The server to which I am connecting (example.com) uses the RC4-SHA cipher for its SSL. Whenever I try to connect to example.com, I get the NSS error SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP. I can connect via curl on this computer to example-2.com which has the DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA cipher. I can connect to example.com from a different computer that has curl built with OpenSSL. How do I find out which ciphers are enabled on NSS and how do I enable the RC4-SHA cipher on NSS?

  • Cannot enable network discovery on Windows Server 2008 R2

    I'm trying to enable the Network Discovery feature on a newly installed Windows Server 2008 R2 instance. The network connection is in the Home or Work profile (it is not domain joined). These are the steps I've followed: Within the Network and Sharing Center I select Change advanced sharing settings Then I select the Turn on network discovery option for the current network profile (Home or Work) I then click Save changes If I then go back to the Advanced sharing settings screen the Turn off network discovery option is selected and the machine is not visible to others within the Network node in Windows Explorer. Things I've checked: I can ping the server and connect to it using the machine name/IP address. The Windows Firewall has exceptions for Network Discovery for both Private and Public networks. File and Printer sharing is enabled and I can transfer files to/from the server by connecting to the server using a UNC path. What am I missing here?

    I have successfully set up a failover cluster on Microsoft Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. Now I want to talk to the MSCluster WMI Provider on said server. WMI Queries to e.g. CIMV2 successed. But queries like select * from MSCluster_ResourceGroup where MSCluster_ResourceGroup.Name=\"testserver\" fail with "Access denied". I am using a domain admin account. Do I have to enable the MSCluster WMI Provider? What am I missing?

    I have a Mac running Snow Leopard connected to an Active Directory domain. I can share folders on the Mac and view files from Windows without problems. When I try to enable my Mac account for write access through System Preferences, I'm prompted for my account's password. Even though I'm entering the right one, I get an "Incorrect Password" response. The same process works fine for the local Mac administrator account; it's the Active Directory account I'm having problems with. I followed the advice on this page on apple.com without success: (I used the Mac to reset my domain password, and re-created my login keychain) If you want to use a user account that existed before you installed Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther), you may need to reset the password for the account using Accounts preferences. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong? Until I fix this I can't write to my Mac file share from Windows.

    I have a 4 months old PC with Win7 Home Premium x64. Windows Experience Index is 5.4. Intel i5 processor 6GB memory nVidia GT220 video card. During games, Windows reported shortage of system resources, so switched the desktop back to "Windows 7 Basic" desktop theme. After game-over, I could switch back to the normal theme and enjoy all Aero eye-candies. However, lately the glass-like window transparency feature got disabled, and I found no ways to enable it again. There is a Troubleshouting option in Control Panel saying: "Find and fix problems with transparency and other visual effects". If I launch that, it does not find anything. Event viewer is full with the following warnings: The Desktop Window Manager is experiencing heavy resource contention. Scenario : The Desktop Window Manager responsiveness has degraded. Taskbar, window borders, etc, none of the other transparent features work, and I cannot turn them on. Any thoughts?

    On two computers with Windows 7 at work and at home with the same version of iTunes (10.1.0.56) at work I can drag-and-drop files into iPod, and I can not at home. At home only adding them first through a dialog box to a Library and only after that drag-and-dropping into iPod (or iPad) works. Initially I thought the problem is in iTunes, but looks like it's the same version, so most likely it's the Windows 7 config parameters. It's 64-bit W7, and I have admin privileges in both cases. The only difference I could think of is it's an enterprise version at work and ultimate at home. What should I change at home to enable that drag-and-drop-ing files into the application?

Sometimes starting a chat with that person will enable the screen sharing but often not. Once its enabled it works fine but I have no idea what the key is to getting it enabled. It seems fairly random when it works. This is over the public internet using Google Talk. Both ends are running OSX 10.5.

    I recently installed Windows Server 2012. This will serve as the dev-instance for our engineers and will be accessed in multiple time zones. I therefore plan to run this 24x7 but want to conserve energy by going to sleep mode when not in use & enable Wake-On-Magic-Packet. Based on the previous post it appears that there is no option to sleep Win Server 2012 with Hyper-V. Since I don't care much about virtualization now, I uninstalled Hyper-V. In addition to this, I have done the following 1) Ran powercfg -a. Don't find sleep. 2) Added [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\hvboot] "Start"=dword:00000003 to try gaining sleep - no luck! 3) Only see Shutdown and Restart in power options.     I've used the ssh-agent from oh-my-zsh to manage my SSH key. So far, so good, i only have to type the passphrase for my private key once when I start my shell and public key authentication works great. The problem is however that key forwarding doesn't work. There are 2 servers A & B which I can use public key to login. When I ssh into A then from there ssh into B, I must provide my password, which should not be the case. A is a CentOS 5.6 box, B is an Ubuntu 11.04 box. I have this on my local .ssh/config: Host * ForwardAgent yes OpenSSH on A is standard openssh 4.3 package provided by CentOS. I also enable ForwardAgent for ssh client on A, but forwarding still doesn't work.

I am trying to allow anonymous access to the report builder folder so that my users do not have to select the remember password option when they login, if they are wanting to use the report builder. All I have found so far is that I should be able to do this with the IIS manager, but that only seems to work for reporting services 2005. Reporting services 2008 does not show up in the IIS manager, enabling anonymous access seems to be hidden somewhere else. How do I enable anonymous access to report builder in reporting services 2008?

  • CentOS - PHP - Yum Install with Custom ./configure params

    I have successfully configured and compiled php on my dev server, and works great, but after talking to a sysadmin buddy, he informed that custom compiles of the latest builds are not recommended for production (or even development) systems. He noted a situation where they custom configured and compiled PHP 5.3.6, only to find that there was some issue with a low-level Postgres driver, so they had to revert back to 5.3.3. So I am considering going back to yum to install PHP, however I have several custom configuration settings and was wondering if it's possible to pass or configure how PHP will be compiled through YUM? I have successfully created a package and linked up my domain yesterday. I am getting an error regarding mb_convert_encoding() wich after doing some reading discover I have to enable or install a module?? Any way, my cpanel is "cPanel 11.25.0-R46156 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9" and after some searching found mainsoftwareModule Installers but cannot find any to do with mbstrings.     I want to add mod_proxy and mod_proxy_http to Apache server on my Gentoo, but apparently some file with high priority on the system is disabling the mods and preventing me to install. I am currently editing /usr/portage/profiles/base/make.defaults file, but it gets updated (and changes lost) every time I update the system. I have to edit it every time I update the system/reinstall Apache. Besides that, I have already added dependencies to the /etc/portage/package.use file: www-servers/apache proxy proxy_http What other files do I have do change or should check flags so I can enable proxy and do not have to edit files again every time?

    Hello- I have an account on an OS X 10.4 server that I don't have physical access to (must use SSH). For arguments sake, let's call the account 'Bob'. Bob's account exists and appears to be fully functional, however he does not have email. How do I enable, via terminal, email for Bob's account, such that he can receive email at [email protected]? I already have the mail server all set up with several working accounts in it, I just need to add Bob. I have searched all over Google for over six hours now, but can't seem to find an answer that fits my situation. Any help is appreciated. P.S. - I am not adverse to just deleting the account and starting over, if that would make things easier...

In Error log : File does not exist: /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/example1/server-info I have 3 virtual host. One of this as default which use example1 as Docroot dir. I am not sure where this page (server-info) should be ? in case of server-status, it's working fine

When i enquired them they said that they will enable to people who personally request for that option.     Is it possible to disable/enable the proxy connection on a tab-by-tab basis in Firefox? I can access the internet with the proxy enabled, and I can access our internal servers with the proxy disabled, but neither configuration allows the other. I have a feeling that Firefox 4's per tab profiles may permit this, but was wondering whether there was a way to achieve this on Firefox 3.6.13, perhaps through the use of an extension. For the moment I'm making do with quickProxy (not QuickProxy which I've just discovered while trying to find quickProxy) which allows me to switch the proxy on and off for the whole browser, but would prefer something more fine-grained.

    Hi, A few days ago I installed Win7 32bit on a PC and it wouldn't talk to my Lacie NAS which is running WinXP embedded. My other Win7 PC's had no problem. After a bit of searching I found a forum post that told me to enable older networking protocols on the Win7 PC, I think it was win98 protocols or something like that. I had to run a .msc program to do this. It fixed the problem. Now, I have a similar problem on another Win7 PC and for the life of me cannot find that posting and cannot remember what I did!
