Is there a way to setup Outlook not to have a default account to send from? i.e. I want to be prompted each time I send an email (using Outlook 2007) for the email account to use.
We currently have a small c# script that pulls a calendar appointment from Siebel OnDemand and mails it out to our users using smtp. This all worked before we migrated some users to Exchange 2007 this weekend. Now the .ics calendar file doesn't show up for those that have been migrated but still show up for those who haven't.
The Exchange team says there isn't a problem with our servers.
Has anyone seen this type of problem? Any solutions?
I am getting the following error warning when opening an xls file generated using 'CarlosAg.ExcelXmlWriter.dll' using Excel 2007
The file you are trying to open,'', is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?
Any idea how to resolve?
Is there a way to ignore spelling and grammar for certain text styles in Word 2007?
Some of the stuff I'm writing is pre-formatted text that looks like this and usually has stuff like if (str.length() != 3) which will give me the squiggly lines on misspelled words like the str in there.
In Excel 2007, if I go to
Office button - Prepare - Properties
instead of showing document properties, I get a message "The Document Information Panel was unable to load." I have come across a number of posts suggesting I copy ipedintl.dll from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Web Designer Tools\Office12\1033 to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033, however I have tried this, and the problem is still occurring. Does anyone have any other ideas of what this might be? Thanks.
I have a number of secure emails sent to my Outlook 2007 client. Most arrive fine and display the prompt with regards to granting access to the certificate and then open. Today I received two that crash Outlook whenever I try to open them. I've tried restarting Outlook and my computer but still have the same problem.
Any ideas what might be causing this, and how I can fix it?
I'm working on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit.
Hello,
I want to know how to redirect permanently the "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" in outlook 2007.
I have already tested to make different rules and spam redirect but, the undelivered mails continues to come in my inbox.
Do outlook have a special configuration, does someone knows why i cant redirect my undelivered mails ?
Please test it YOURSELF and you will know it is not simple as making a rule with the message or the sender name...
I am not sure what the issue may be, but I am getting a weird error in Word2007 (running on Win7 pro x86). When I click the page setup button (or try and chnage one of the page formatiing button like orientation) the program stops responding and crashes on me. This is really getting annoying. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
We're running an Exchange 2003 Server with Outlook 2007 clients. One of the users does not have the Out of Office assistant on their Tools menu. If I access his account via webmail, I can set his out of office message and status there, but would still love to know why it might be missing and how to get it back on the tools menu
I'm using a startup script to deploy Microsoft Office 2007 Standard. It's not working quite right and I'm trying to find logging information for it. Unfortunately, no log is being generated by setup. I've tried configuring the log at %temp%\, C:\, %systemroot%\temp and leaving it at defaults, all to no avail. Nothing is showing up in the event logs, either. Is there anywhere else I can go to look for information on what's going on with the installer?
In Excel 2007, when I click a hyperlink, it opens in IE.
I'm running XP Professional SP3.
Firefox is set as my default browser. Links in Word and Outlook open in Firefox. But Excel opens them in IE. Anyone know how to fix it?
Edit:
Process Explorer shows the command line for IE to be
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -Embedding
Thanks!
Hi there,
I am using outlook 2007, and I have configured the bugger to retrieve emails from
a 1&1 web mail address.
It gets all emails from the remote in-box folder but,
if one happen to have fallen into the remote spam folder,
I never receive it, in outlook!
Is there an easy way out for this one ?
Thanks!
I'm getting a Subtotal method of Range class failed Error when I try to run a macro in Excel 2007. Code works GREAT (no errors) when I run it using Excel 2003.
Here's a snippet...
'SubTotal Sheet
Range("A1").Select
Selection.Subtotal GroupBy:=1, Function:=xlSum, TotalList:=Array(3, 4, 5, 6, 7, _
8, 9), Replace:=True, PageBreaks:=False, SummaryBelowData:=True
Any help would be appreciated.
An old junk mail filter program I used to use created a junk email folder. When I moved from Outlook 2003 to 2007, Outlook created a new folder called Junk Email1. Now, after our move to a new Exchange server, I now have a "Junk Email" folder and the existing "Junk Email1" folder. Is there a way to change the default Outlook Junk Email folder back to "Junk Email"?
Hi All,
I have a Exchange 2007 SP1 server running on Windows 2008
6 HD Drives in a RAID-1
OS, DB, Logs on separate RAID-1 Disks
Size of the Mailbox Database is 183GB and increasing
We only have First Storage Group and Second Storage Group
There is no more space on the server to install new Physical Disks and create a Storage Group
Q - Can I resize the RAID-1 Partition where the DB is ?
Q - Any other suggestions as to how I can decrease the Mailbox DB Size ?
Will be grateful for your suggestions on this.
Kind Regards
In word2007 I click office button top left I click open, I get the open box, in the top address bar, I if I click on the down arrow far right (previous Locations) the drop down menu is empty just a box with nothing in it. To go anywhere from here I have to navigate via the left had pane, on all other windows systems this dropdown has enabled me to go to any location on my computer. I'm wondering if because all my word documents are on my D drive that windows 7 doesn't like it.
I love using the formatting styles for tables in Excel 2007, but in my data I'm using the same column name for multiple columns. When I format my table using the pre-defined styles, it automatically adds an incremental number to each subsequent column name which I don't want. Is there any way to stop this from happening? If I attempt to manually rename the column back to the original name, it automatically appends the incremented number.
There is a permanent yellow bar under the toolbar in Outlook 2007 saying "Click here to enable instant search".
When I click on it, the following message appears:
I click No, and the annoying yellow bar is still there. How can I get rid of it? I don't want to install Instant Search feature?
I am installing Exchange Server 2007 SP1 Management Tools on Windows XP SP3 and every time I get the error:

I'm using Office 2007 on Windows Vista and occasionally, when copying from Word to Excel, or text from a website to Word, I will get the hour glass for 10 + seconds and sometimes for about a minute. It should just be simple text and I don't understand why it takes so long.
