  • Capital D key not working / producing output

    For some inexplicable reason the capital d key on my Ubuntu system is no longer producing output. Hitting caps lock and then d produces a D. I've tried multiple keyboards and the issue is the same.     Hi, I am trying to call a process using System.Diagnostics.Process, send it a parameter, just for the sake of trying it out i am sending "-h" which should generate a list of help options and I need the output.   • DELETE from two tables with one OUTPUT clause?

    This deletes the document from the Document table and outputs information about the deleted document into the FinishedDocument table. DELETE FROM Document OUTPUT Deleted.DocumentId , Deleted.DocumentDescription INTO FinishedDocument WHERE DocumentId = @DocumentId I need to delete the document not just from the Document table, but also from the DocumentBackup table. Meanwhile, I need to maintain insertion into FinishedDocument. Is all of this possible with only one statement? If not, is a second DELETE (against DocumentBackup), with all of it wrapped in a transaction, the way to go?

    I have a small script, which is called daily by crontab using the following command: /homedir/MyScript &> some_log.log The problem with this method is that some_log.log is only created after MyScript finishes. I would like to flush the output of the program into the file while it's running so I could do things like tail -f some_log.log and keep track of the progress, etc.

    Ok this is only my second question, and it's quite a doozy. It's for a school assignment, but no one (including the TAs) seems to be able to help me. It's kind of a tall order but I'm not sure where else to turn. Essentially the assignment was to make a cache simulator. This version is direct mapping and is actually only a small portion of the whole project, but if I can't even get this down I have no chance with other associativities. I'm posting my whole code because I don't want to make any assumptions about where the problem is.     I am using slapadd to restore a backup. That backup contains 45k entries which takes a while to restore so I need to get some progress update from slapadd. Luckily for me there is the -v switch which gives an output similar to this one: added: "[email protected],ou=People,dc=example,dc=org" (00003d53) added: "[email protected],ou=People,dc=example,dc=org" (00003d54) added: "[email protected],ou=People,dc=example,dc=org" (00003d55) .######## 44.22% eta 05m05s elapsed 04m spd 29.2 k/s added: "[email protected],ou=People,dc=example,dc=org" (00003d56) added: "[email protected],ou=People,dc=example,dc=org" (00003d57) added: "[email protected],ou=People,dc=example,dc=org" (00003d58) added: "[email protected],ou=People,dc=example,dc=org" (00003d59) Every N entries added, slapadd writes a progress update output line (.######## 44.22% eta 05m05s elapsed ...) which I want to keep and an output line for every entry created which I want to hide because it exposes people's email address but still want to count them to know how many users were imported The way I thought about hiding emails and showing the progress update is this: $ slapadd -v ... 2>&1 | tee log.txt | grep '########' # => would give me real-time progress update $ grep "added" log.txt | wc -l # => once backup has been restored I would know how many users were added I tried different variations of the above, and whatever I try I can't grep the progress update output line. I can see that partition from disk management only. But how do I boot from it? Some months ago I have linux os installed. So when the laptop boot up I can see that partition. But not Now. I figured out that most probably it is necessary to replace initial console's window procedure so I will be able to control all messages including notify area events. But SetWindowLong function returns 0, and GetLastError() tells that access is denied. hwndFound = GetConsoleWindow(); SetWindowLong(hwndFound, GWL_WNDPROC, (long)WndProc); What could it be, or maybe there is some other way to control tray icon manipulations?

  • Submit form from greybox window to main window

    Hi everyone, I'm using greybox and trying the following thing: I want to make a form inside the pop-up so when the users submit's it, the request goes to the main window and the pop-up closes. I know the way to close the window is by using onclick="parent.parent.GB_hide()", but I really haven't been able to find a way to make the pop-up close and the data sent to the corresponding controller when the form is submitted. I'm using Zend FW. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate what this community does.
