  • WPF Accessing Items inside Listbox which has a UserControl as ItemTemplate

    I have Window that has a ListBox ListBox(MyListBox) has a DataTable for its DataContext ListBox's ItemSource is : {Binding} Listbox has a UserControl(MyUserControl) as DataTemplate UserControl has RadioButtons and TextBoxes (At first They're filled with values from DataTable and then user can change them) Window has one Submit Button What I want to do is, when user clicks the submit button For each ListBox Item, get the values form UserControl's TextBoxes and RadioButtons. I was using that method for this job : foreach(var element in MyListBox.Items) { var border = MyListBox.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem(element)as FrameworkElement; MyUserControl currentControl = VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(myBorder,0) as Border,0)as ContentPresenter,0)as MyUserControl; //And use currentControl } I realised nothing when using 3-5 items in Listbox. But when I used much more items, I saw that "var border" gets "null" after some elements looped in foreach function.   • In Zabbix how to separate data of the same type but from different sources?

    I have a machine that receives data from multiple sources. This machine forwards the data to the Zabbix Trapper. I want to be able to view this data separately. One way of doing that is to send data from each source with a different fake hostname. But this is not ideal. I can receive this data in more than one host.     i have a repeater inside a dynamic control, i am trying to get the items of the repeater in a postback prior to databinding. this seems to work when i have a static repeater where the items are still intact, but when my repeater is inside a dynamic control and i try to get "repeater.Items", the count is always 0. is this normal behavior for repeaters when being placed inside a dynamic control?

  • Set Pivot Items from Cell Range? Excel 2007

    I have developed code which identifies the multiple item selections from a Pivot field and writes the list of items to a table. I then wish to take this contents of the list and use it to populate a number of other Pivot Tables on other tabs. I currently have the ability to do this for single Pivot items selections, but I need to do this for multiple selections. If I select multiple items in the Pivot Table and attempt to pass these selections to the other Pivot Tables it creates an error because it sees only hte text "Multiple Items" instead of a list of each item that was checked in the upstream Pivot field. I need some VBA code that allows me to use the list to set another Pivot Field's selections. All the Pivot fields in question here are page fields. I am using Excel 2007. Any help is appreciated.   • Windows 7 taskbar items not grouping properly

    I don't understand the Windows 7 taskbar behaviour. For some programs it will not group the running instances, or will groups some of them but not all. I have set taskbar items to "always combine", but this has not helped. It seems to possibly be two issues: with an app that has a different taskbar icon when running than for its launcher; and for VisualStudio, when starting by double clicking a project it groups separately from when starting the IDE from the .exe. Is there any way to force the items to combine? I quite like the Win7 taskbar, and would like it to work consistently...

  • Messages Disappeared from Outlook Sent Folder

    Two days ago almost all of the messages in my Microsoft Outlook sent folder disappeared. I say "almost all" because only the messages from the past 2 weeks remain. This led me to believe that they must have been "auto archived," but I can't find an archive file that contains my messages. I've checked the folder where Outlook says it archives messages, but there's not much there. I've changed my settings to prevent Outlook from auto-archiving my messages in the future, but still need the ones that have disappeared. Can anybody help me find my missing messages?

    I have N rectangular items with an aspect ratio Aitem (X:Y). I have a rectangular display area with an aspect ratio Aview The items should be arranged in a table-like layout (i.e. r rows, c columns). what is the ideal grid rows x columns, so that individual items are largest? (rows * colums = N, of course - i.e. there may be "unused" grid places). A simple algorithm could iterate over rows = 1..N, calculate the required number of columns, and keep the row/column pair with the largest items. I wonder if there's a non-iterative algorithm, though (e.g. for Aitem = Aview = 1, rows / cols can be approximated by sqrt(N)).

    Say I've got two tables. One contains a list of items, and one contains pictures of the items. Something like this: Items +----+---------+ | id | name | +----+---------+ | 1 | oranges | | 2 | apples | +----+---------+ Pictures +----+---------+ | id | item_id | +----+---------+ | 1 | 1 | | 2 | 2 | | 3 | 2 | +----+---------+ My question is this: is it possible in a single query to select item 2 from Items and join all the rows in the Pictures table whose item_id references that same id? I am sure I've tried almost everything I can think of, but nothing is coming to mind. I apologize if the answer to this is simple, but It's just escaping me right now.

    Hi, i have this two lists, from which i can move items from one to another with jquery ui and connect lists, with ajax. If an item is pulled over, a message is generated in a php file and then it appears on screen. Now i want that for example the right list should be allowed to contain ten items at max. It would be great if it would be possible with jquery, that if there is already ten items in the list and you go and drag the eleventh, if then the item would somehow vanish, maybe with a little effekt. I think maybe reading out db in the php-file if theres already ten items, and so on. But i have currently no idea, if and in case if in which way, jquery would support this kind of behaviour.   • Outlook mail/calendar items give errors after server migration

    Last Friday our Exchange server was migrated, by our external system administrator, to a new server, with a new server name. Since then we have problems with the calendar/mail items that were created/sent/received on the old server: Reply to mails get bounced if we use auto complete in the To field. If we cancel auto complete and manually enter the (same) e-mail address then there's no problem. Our system administrator says this is because auto complete fills in the old server name (???). Calendar items created on the old server cannot be edited (without an error) and must be recreated if we want to change them. Our system administrator says these problems are normal with a server migration. I cannot believe this. There must be a better way. Am I right?

  • What is the most efficient way to delete all selected items in a ListViewItem collection

    My user is able to select multiple items in a ListView collection that is configured to show details (that is, a list of rows). What I want to do is add a Delete button that will delete all of the selected items from the ListViewItem collection associated with the ListView. The collection of selected items is available in ListView.SelectedItems, but ListView.Items doesn't appear to have a single method that lets me delete the entire range. I have to iterate through the range and delete them one by one, which will potentially modify a collection I'm iterating over. Any hints? Edit: What I'm basically after is the opposite of AddRange().

    In PHP I have an array that looks like this: $array[0]['width'] = '100'; $array[0]['height'] = '200'; $array[2]['width'] = '150'; $array[2]['height'] = '250'; I don't know how many items there are in the array. Some items can be deleted which explains the missing [1] key. I want to add a new item after this, like this: $array[]['width'] = '300'; $array[]['height'] = '500'; However the code above don't work, because it adds a new key for each row. It should be the same for the two rows above. A clever way to solve it? An alternative solution would be to find the last key. I failed trying the 'end' function.

    I want to iterate a list of items into a ListView. This code below is not enough to iterate all the items into the list because of the weird behaviour of getChildCount() function which only returns the visible item count. for (int i = 0; i < list.getChildCount(); i++) { item = (View)list.getChildAt(i); product = (Product)item.getTag(); // make some visual changes if product.id == someProductId } My screen displays 7 results and when there are more than 7 items into the list, it's not possible to access to the 8th item or so.. Only visible items.. Should I use ListIterator instead? Thanks.

  • filtering itunes library items by file location

    The Problem I've got way more than 1000 duplicated items in my iTunes Library pointing to a non-existant place (the "where" under "get info" window), along with other duplicated items and other MIAs (Missing In Action). Is there any simple way to just delete all of them and only them? By that I mean some MIAs are pointing to /Volumes while some are pointing to .../music/Music/... or just .../music/.... I want to delete all pointing to /Volumes as to later I'll recover the rest. Check the image below. Some Background I tried searching for a specific key word on the path and creating smart play list, but with no result. Being able to just sort all library by path would be a perfect solution! I believe old iTunes could do that. PowerTunes can do it (sort by path) but I can't do anything with its list. Yes, all of the /Volumes look like that.

    So I have the following code contained within an HttpModule in an application I've been asked to support: app.Context.Response.ContentType = "text/xml"; app.Context.Items.Add("IpixRoomId", ipixRoomId); app.Context.Items.Add("IpixId", ipixId); app.Context.Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.NoCache); app.Context.RewritePath(rewriteUrl, true); What's the purpose of adding data to Context.Items when the content type is XML? EDIT: For clarification, I'm calling up this URL: http://website.com/virtualtour/1971/6284/panorama2flash.swf I assume the SWF file (I know very little about Flash) makes another call to http://website.com/virtualtour/config.xml. The code I pasted above only executes on calls to config.xml. So since it's only the SWF file and config.xml being requested from the server, I'm a little confused. Can the .SWF file have access to HttpContext.Current.Items? Other than the HttpModule, there is no .NET involved in the code, it's a straight request to the SWF file which triggers a call to config.xml but it seems that those Context.Items contain the data needed to make the SWF file display the right virtual tour. I'm just missing where that link happens. It can't happen in the XML, so maybe in Flash?

  • ListItemCollection is limited to 127 items?

    I am trying to add a lot of item to ListItemCollection in the ListControl, but once the Count reaches 127 I can't add any more items. It doesn't throw any exceptions, just doesn't add the items. I have changed Capacity to 256, but it still won't add more than 127 items. Is there a hard-coded limit?
