    I've noticed that on some websites (including SO) the link to the CSS will look like: <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://sstatic.net/so/all.css?v=6638"> I would say its safe to assume that ?v=6638 tells the browser to load version 6638 of the css file. But can I do this on my websites and can I include different versions of my CSS file just by changing the numbers?

  • Transition from restful authentication to authlogic in not working in rails

    I'm using restful authentication in rails. Now I just want to change it to Authlogic. I used acts_as_authentic do |c| c.transition_from_restful_authentication = true end and changed the password and salt field to 128 characters.But, if I create a new user crypted password length is 40 characters length(Its not changing to 128 as in authlogic). Plz suggest me, how to change from restful to Authlogic from the start. i.e I have restful authentication now.(how to change it to authlogic..plz explain from start)

  • Change Name of Outputted DLL

    If my project name is ABC and the DLL currently outputs as ABC.DLL, how can I make my DLL be outputted as say CBA.DLL and so that when the .LIB is compiled linked against, it is not looking for ABC.DLL, but CBA.DLL. I tried changing the name under Linker General Output File but when I linked to the .lib in my other application, it was still looking for ABC.DLL and CBA.DLL.

  • IE6 Bug - Div within Anchor tag: inline images not links

    I'm trying to get everything in the anchor tag to be a clickable link. Unfortunately, in IE6 (which is the only browser I'm concerned with currently), the only thing that isn't a clickable link are the inline images. I know that it's not valid html to put a div inside of an anchor but it's not my markup and I've been asked to avoid changing it. Any suggestions to altering the CSS to enable the images as clickable links? If changing the markup is the only solution... any suggestions there? My initial thought was to set the image as a background of it's parent (.ph-item-featured-img), although I'm unclear if that will solve the problem.   • Komodo Double Indentation with Tab

    In Komodo Edit, if I name the file *.django.html it gives me django syntax highlighting BUT it also indents with a tab character (8 spaces) instead of giving me the usual 4 space indent. How can I fix this? I've tried changing the value in Edit Preferences Editor Indentation Language Settings, but that seems to have no effect on it. The indentation works as normal (4 spaces) if I'm using any other extension (.py, .html, etc.). Ideas?

Solution: All the answers were good, I went with swallowing mouse events since that was the most straight forward. I wired PreviewMouseDown and PreviewMouseUp to a single event, which checked my backgroundWorker.IsBusy, and if it was set the IsHandled property on the event args to true.

I've looked at tweepy, and I like that as well, I just find python-twitter easier to understand and extend with the functionality I want.     In java adjectives ending in -able are interfaces Serializable, Comparable etc... So why is Throwable a class? Wouldn't exception handling be easier if Throwable were an interface? Obviously, changing it now is out the question. But could it be made abstract? Wouldn't that avoid the bad practice of throw new Throwable();

Here, the value is changing in order to loop. How is that different from a variable in C#?

    I just figured out that all code completion for Eclipse is stored in plain files located here (example): .\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.php.core_2.1.1.v20090921-1100\Resources\language I tried adding global variables like $_POST, $_GET, $_SERVER to the end of basic.php but without any luck (did try to restart Eclipse). Is there a way to create compatible files for the needs of "smooth integration" of (ie.)CodeIgniter framework by adding or changing files located here and how would it be done?
