• Wireless acting weird ubuntu 12.04 LTS

  I'm kinda new here, so please bear with me. My wireless driver is acting very weird. It shows my router's name, but when it is connecting (after entering the correct password), the icon on the tray is like, refreshing every once in a second, while showing the animation that it is connecting. And after a few seconds, error message come up saying that wireless network is disconnected. I installed the drive through "additional drivers". What info do you need? The problem is that it breaks the GUI as you see in the image and the entire computer is very slow. I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 and have a Intel graphics card 945G x86/MMX/SSE2. • Creating a level editor event system

  I'm designing a level editor for game, and I'm trying to create sort of an 'event' system so I can chain together things. If anyone has used RPG Maker, I'm trying to do similar to their system. Right now, I have an 'EventTemplate' class and a bunch of sub-classed 'EventNodes' which basically just contain properties of their data. Orginally, the IAction and IExecute interface performed logic but it was moved into a DLL to share between the two projects. Question: How can I abstract logic from data in this case? Is my model wrong? Isn't cast typing expensive to parse these actions all the time? Should I write a 'Processor' class to execute these all? But then these actions that can do all sorts of things need to interact with all sorts of sub-systems.

• Should I use JavaFx properties?

  I'm usually very careful to keep my Model, View, and Controller code separate. The thing is JavaFx properties are so convenient to bind them all together. The issue is that it makes my entire code design dependent on JavaFx, which I feel I should not being doing. I should be able to change the view without changing too much of the model and controller. So should I ignore the convenience of JavaFx properties, or should I embrace them and the fact that it reduces my codes flexibility.

  Sorry about the poor question title, it's just that this seems to big for a title. So here's the dirt: I am making a game (obviously) and I want the enemies to shoot (not necessarily at the player). I want the shoot method to be in the Enemies file, so as not to clutter up my HelloWorldLayer.m file even more. But my problem is I want to consider the second parameter as a querystring for my pages. But I could not get the second parameter in my file. I tried with $wgrequest function but it is only giving the first parameter as title. I tried with $_REQUEST also, it is sometimes give the value of $_REQUEST['actions']. But many times not. I cant understand what is the problem.

When I click on the machine, though, the 'create logical domain' command is grayed out. The machine still has available CPU threads and free RAM. What's going on?" This one has an easy answer. In a Server Pool, the Create Logical Domain action is under the pool's actions, rather than the individual machine's actions. This is because the Server Pool decides where to put the new domain based on the Server Pool's placement policy. So, in this case, you need to select the Server Pool in the Assets section, and then create the new domain from there.

I thought Havana was the latest, but deployed nova cloud controller, and the log said 2013-10-24 19:13:25 INFO juju juju-log.go:66 nova-cloud-controller/0: FATAL ERROR: Invalid Cloud Archive release specified: precise-updates/havana. Is there somewhere to see what the latest Juju deployable (with the standard repositories) version is? Or am I just using the wrong format when I specify openstack-origin: cloud:precise-updates/havana in the config?

  Trying to get my 03:03.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02) working. I just reformated and installed 12.04 on this old Windows XP machine, and I don't know where to get the firmware for this.   I am always conscious to keep a record of all operations performed on my database servers. Operations through T-SQL in an SSMS query pane can easily be saved in query files. For table modifications through SSMS designer I have predefined setting to generate T-SQL scripts. However there are numerous database and server level tasks that I use the SSMS GUI and I would like to have a script of these changes for later reference. Examples of such actions through the SSMS GUI are backup/restore, changing compatibility level of a database, manipulating permissions, dealing with database or log files or creating/manipulating any login/user. I am looking for any way to generate T-SQL code for such actions, so that it may be kept for later reference

Essentially, it's using A* to plot between Actions that mutate the world state. To provide a fair chance for all Actions and Goals to execute, I'm using a heuristic function to estimate the cost of doing something. What is the best way to estimate this cost so that it is comparable to all the other costs? As an example, estimating the cost of running away from an enemy versus attacking it - how should the cost be calculated to be comparable?
