• Correct association mapping in Entity Framework

  Hi, Trying to change two relationships in our entity framework from many-to-one to many-to-many relationships. So I tried the obvious thing: clicked on each association on the diagram, changed the appropriate end of the association accordingly and then changed the name of the navigation property to a plural to reflect the change. This lead to the following build error, or one each for the two changes I've made: Error 3002: Problem in mapping fragments starting at line 1761:Potential runtime violation of table CustomerServices's keys (CustomerServices.Id): Columns (CustomerServices.Id) are mapped to EntitySet CompiledDatabaseCustomerService's properties (CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CustomerService.Id) on the conceptual side but they do not form the EntitySet's key properties (CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CompiledDatabase.Id, CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CustomerService.Id) I'm not entirely sure why this is happening, so unsurprisngly I haven't had much luck fixing it. I've tried fiddling with the mapping details and adding referential constraints to no avail. Anyone point me in the right direction? cheers, Matt

  The target id below is map_external, but I would like to get map_external(and a number) I have this: $('#jqt').bind('pageAnimationStart', function(e, info){ if (e.target.id == 'map_external') { if (info.direction =='in') { localiser(); } and it works, and my target page looks like this: <div id="map_external"> content.... </div> but I would like to have a random number aswell, like this: <div id="map_external<%=asp random number%>"> content.... </div> so how do i write if (e.target.id == 'map_external') so that it gets map_external and a number(any number)? • What is a good/free tool to auto generate documentation for VS 2008 Express?

  Hi guys, I'm new to the wonderful world of .net development, and I'm currently using c# 3.0 and I'm wondering is there any good/free/open source tool to auto generate documentation for the project that I work on based on the /// summary comments like or whatever the in thing it is for vs2008. As I recall back in .net 1.1 we used to use that with a tool call ndoc, but I can't find much about ndoc and VS 2008 express. • Android ROM Development. What does it take?

  Hi. I have been developing android apps out of hobby and fun. I want to get more serious about android development. One particular thing that I am very keen on doing (or atleast trying my hand at) is andoroid ROM development for specific handsets. Like, maybe outdated HTC Touch. (Elf/Elfin). I am at a loss to understand, what does it take to get started in right direction and what does it entails? I would really appreciate your help if you could point me to some resources which would highlight ROM Development for Android specifically. • Where should I define custom routes in my ZF 1.10 app?

  With the new Zend_Application/Zend_Application_Bootstrap classes I'm confused as to where I should be applying my custom routes. For example, at the moment I have one route: protected function _initRouter() { $router = new Zend_Controller_Router_Rewrite; $route = new Zend_Controller_Router_Route('news/:id', array('controller' => 'news', 'action' => 'view')); $router->addRoute('postArchive', $route); } This method is in my Zend_Application_Bootstrap_Bootstrap and is definitely run. The route is also applied in $router. As I see it I could be doing two things wrong - either the wrong place to add these routes, or not adding to the correct router. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this?

• Android Dropdown (Select) CSS

  I'm currently writing some stylesheets for mobile browsers and have come across a strange issue in the Android browser. When changing the font-size CSS attribute of a text box the box gets bigger to accomodate the larger text. Doing this on a select box however does not change the size of the select box, but the text still gets larger (actually overlapping the top and bottom of the rendered form element). Can anyone tell me if it's possible to increase the height of select boxes in the Android browser. Or if not point me in the direction of a list of CSS attributes that can be applied to them. • Importing HTML into TinyMCE using ColdFusion

  Hey everyone, I would appreciate a pointing in the right direction with the problem I'm having. In short, I'm working on an application that will create PDFs using TinyMCE and ColdFusion 8. I have the ability to create a PDF by just entering in text, pictures, etc. However, I want to be able to import an html template and insert it into the TinyMCE . Basically, I have a file directory code snippet that lets me browse through my 'HTMLTemplates' folder, and am able to select an HTML document. Now, I want to be able to take all the code from that selected HTML document and insert it into my TinyMCE box. Any tips on how I might do this, maybe? Thanks!

• CakePHP HABTM Filtering

  Hi, I've got two tables - users and servers, and for the HABTM relationship, users_servers. Users HABTM servers and vice versa. I'm trying to find a way for Cake to select the servers that a user is assigned to. I'm trying things like $this->User->Server->find('all'); which just returns all the servers, regardless of whether they belong to the user. $this->User->Server->find('all', array('conditions' => array('Server.user_id' => 1))) just gives an unknown column SQL error. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but just need someone to point me in the right direction. Thanks!

• Backbone.js - Getting JSON back from url

  While trying to learn Backbone.js, I've been trying to grab the content of a JSON file using the following code: (function($){ var MyModel = Backbone.Model.extend(); var MyCollection = Backbone.Collection.extend({ model : MyModel, url: '/backbone/data.json', parse: function(response) { console.log(response); return response; } }); var stuff = new MyCollection; console.log(stuff.fetch()); console.log(stuff.toJSON()); })(jQuery) 'stuff.fetch()' returns the entire object (with the data I'm after in responseText), 'stuff.toJSON' returns nothing ([]), but the console in the parse method is returning exactly what I want (the json object of my data). I feel like I'm missing something obvious here, but I just can't seem to figure it out why I can't get the right data out. Could someone point me in the right direction or show me what I'm doing wrong here? Am I using a model for the wrong thing?

  I'm starting out in the world of SpecFlow and I have come across my first problem. In terms of keeping my code DRY I'd like to do the following: Have two scenarios: Given I am on a product page And myfield equals todays date Then... Given I am on a product page And myfield equals todays date plus 4 days Then... I was hoping to use the following Step Definition to cover both variants of my And clause: [Given(@"myfield equals todays date(?: (plus|minus) (\d+) days)?")] public void MyfieldEqualsTodaysDate(string direction, int? days) { //do stuff } However I keep getting exceptions when SpecFlow tries to parse the int? param. I've checked the regular expression and it definitely parses the scenario as expected. I'm aware that I could so something as crude as method overloading etc, I was just wondering if SpecFlow supported the idea of default parameter values, or indeed another way to achieve the same effect. • Error 500 on template.render() with jinja2

  I am working on playing with some Python to create a webapp. At first I put the HTML in a string, using %s to fill certain elements. That all worked perfectly. Now I want to put the HTML in a template, so I followed this tutorial. My code looks like this (I deleted irrelevant code for this error): import codecs import cgi import os import jinja2 jinja_environment = jinja2.Environment(loader=jinja2.FileSystemLoader(os.path.join(os.path.dirname(__file__)))) class Rot13Handler(webapp2.RequestHandler): def get(self): template = jinja_environment.get_template('rot13.html') self.response.out.write(template.render({'text': ''})) When I replace just template.render({'text': ''}) a random string, the program works fine. I did add the latest jinja2 library to my app.yaml, and naturally my rot13.html does exist with the {{ text }} added. So could anyone please help me in the right direction? I don't know why it's going wrong.

  How could I adapt this query to show the previous 61 weeks? (still exlcluding the current week). My query currently shows me the total weekly sales for 2010 grouped by ISO Week and ISO Year (exlcuding the current week). select to_char(order_date,'IYYY') as iso_year, to_char(order_date,'IW') as iso_week, sum(sale_amount) from orders where to_char(order_date,'IW') <> to_char(SYSDATE) and to_char(order_date,'IYYY') = 2010 group by to_char(order_date,'IYYY') to_char(order_date,'IW') I realize I could probably just omit the "2010" requirement, order by desc and limit results to a certain bnumber of rows. But that just doesn't seem right! Much appreciate any help pointing me in the right direction!

• Rounding a positive number to a power of another number

  I'm trying to round a number to the next smallest power of another number. The number I'm trying to round is always positive. I'm not particular on which direction it rounds, but I prefer downwards if possible. I would like to be able to round towards arbitrary bases, but the ones I'm most concerned with at the moment is base 2 and fractional powers of 2 like 2^(1/2), 2^(1/4), and so forth. Here's my current algorithm for base 2. The log2 I multiply by is actually the inverse of log2: double roundBaseTwo(double x) { return 1.0 / (1 << (int)((log(x) * log2)) } Any help would be appreciated!

• After getting the 'It worked!' page with Djangoappengine, what do I do next?

  I followed the Djangoappengine instructions. I used their django-testapp and copied the following folders in the django-testapp folder according to what I understood the instructions to say: django djangoappengine djangotoolbox I then started the dev server by running: manage.py runserver Then navigated to http://localhost:8000/ and got the "It worked!" page, which is great, but it says the following at the bottom: You're seeing this message because you have DEBUG = True in your Django settings file and you haven't configured any URLs. Get to work! I am an absolute beginner with Django and App Engine and Djangoappengine and Django-nonrel, so I am pretty lost. How do I configure URLs? Or a link to the how to will help. I took a look at the Django tutorial, but am unsure how much of it is relevant to Djangoappengine and Django-nonrel as a lot of the starting steps have to do with SQL databases. Basically some direction on how to get my app running will be great. Thanx much.

• How to run a COM .dll on a remote server?

  I have a legacy 3rd party COM .dll that is used to provide an Excel-callable interface to a proprietary database product. The .dll runs on the same physical machine as Excel. I have a need to execute the .dll (and the database it is calling) on a remote server while still maintaining simple Excel callability from the client. • Find value within a range in lookup table

  I have the simplest problem to implement, but so far I have not been able to get my head around a solution in Python. I have built a table that looks similar to this one: 501 - ASIA 1262 - EUROPE 3389 - LATAM 5409 - US I will test a certain value to see if it falls within these ranges, 389 -> ASIA, 1300 -> LATAM, 5400 -> US. A value greater than 5409 should not return a lookup value. I normally have a one to one match, and would implement a dictionary for the lookup. But in this case I have to consider these ranges, and I am not seeing my way out of the problem. Maybe without providing the whole solution, could you provide some comments that would help me look in the right direction? It is very similar to a vlookup in a spreadsheet. I would describe my Python knowledge as somewhere in between basic to intermediate. Many thanks in advance.

  Hey all, I'm new to using WPF. I have the following program I want to create: -Application opens up with one button -User clicks button and it takes them to a new page with various input. I'm confused about how I need to do this. I tried opening a new window, but I don't want a window to open up, I want it to be all one Window. I tried creating a new page and navigating to it using NavigationService but couldn't get it to work. Basically I want to create a workflow where the user enters some stuff, clicks the next button and is taken to a new page to enter some more information. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  Dear experts, I would like to implement a API of Javascript that sort of resemble a light switch. For instance, there are two buttons on the actual HTML page act as the UI. Both of the buttons have event handlers that invokes a different function. Each function have codes that act like a state, for instance. button1.onclick=function (){ $("div").click( //code effects 2 ) } button2.onclick=function (){ $("div").click( //Code effects 2 ) } I the code works fine on the surface but the 2 state functions overlap. the effects is going to take place for the rest of the way until the next reload of the document. Basically what I want to achieve is that when 1 button is clicked, it will switch "OFF" the state of function invoked by the other button and vice versa. Thus, the effects achieved are unique are not overlapped. Is there anyway to achieve this or could any experts point me to the right direction. Thanks in advance.

• I can't fix a broken image in Internet Explorer

  Hi All, I have a broken image in IE that I can't seem to fix. I have tried everything I could think of so far. It works just fine in all browsers except IE.   Hi every one, I am very much new to Drupal but am loving it to start with. I got struck at a point with respect to theaming. I have a region called 'footer-teaser' just above footer. Its width is 800px. its been split into 3 equal size columns. Each column has the following. Image of size 120x120 Some teaser text Link to 'read more' The design requirement is all the above should be editable by the admin from the admin interface. If its static i would have hardcoded this but since the requirement is dynamic, i am not aware of how to achieve this. I have customised page.tpl for other sections of the page except this. I am sure someone else would have faced this issue before and was wondering if anyone can direct me in the right direction? Even better if an example is provided. Cheers RD
