  • DualBoot 32Win & 64Mac from Live USB +Persistance

    So I have a 32 bit Live USB with persistance that I use to write code, cause that's just how I roll. I can boot it onto my school computers(32 bit Win) no problem, but obviously not my Mac (2007 iMac, 64 Bit). Currently I use VMWare Fusion 6 Pro and a Plop Linux image to use the usb at home, but I can only get 900mb of ram for my VM. I was hoping to make a Live USB that can boot 32 bit and 64 bit for mac, with a shared persistance file, this way I can use my computer's full 2GB. Also, I'm not allowed edit any part of this Mac. Do Not reply telling me it's impossible. Please only solutions. Thank you, and have a unicorntastic day!

  • Wine not working in 12.04?

    I updated to Ubuntu 12.04 by doing a clean install from a CD. I installed Wine, Q4wine, WineTricks, PlayOnLinux all from the Software Center. After installing Kindle For PC(I ran it in 11.10 as well) Wine doesn't open it. Then I tried to install a game (Eastside Hockey Manager 2007) that I have had Installed on all my previous versions of Ubuntu, again Wine returned an error saying that the installer GUI would not load. So far I'm lost as to why this is happening. Does anyone have an idea?

    I'm attempting to change / toggle the material that's applied to a BSP brush. I've seen where it's possible on static meshes, but I can't seem to get it to work on brushes. Below is an example scenario. The ground (BSP Brush) is covered in a stone material The player hits a trigger. A new "moss" material is applied to the brush, removing the old stone material.     I'm a limited user, and I need to write an Outlook macro that exposes a C# library in Outlook 2003 and 2007. I do not have any admin privilges at all, not even at install time, so I can't run RegAsm and I can't (I assume) write a managed add-in. Is there any way to call .Net code from VBA in this scenario, or are there any other solutions? This is for personal use only, so an ugly hack is perfectly acceptable (so long as it works)

XSSFWorkbook workBook = new XSSFWorkbook("C:\test.xlsx"); The xlsx file was saved in excel 2007, the error Im seeing is: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/xmlbeans/XmlException I dont know what the solution is... any ideas and/or example code?

    Hi all, I am trying to enable/disable a combobox based on the value or state of a second combobox in Excel 2007. I think my code should look something like this: Sub DropDown266_Change() If DropDown266.Index = 2 Then DropDown267.Enabled = False End If End Sub However, I am getting a run time error '424' saying an object is required.
