  Are there any feasible reasons to start a new project in COBOL? What benefits of this language one would find convincing enough to start a new project in it? I'm thinking more about viewing the language in terms of Behavior Driven Development, something related to the steps involved in using a framework such as Cucumber, only that behavior description and step definition would be integrated into one unit by using tha language's features.

When I add the mspec (machine.specifications) assembly to the references, both ReSharper and TestDriven.Net stop running the NUnit tests and only run the mspec tests. Is there a way or setting that allows both NUnit & mspec tests to co-exist and run in the same project using R# & TD.Net test runners?

• SWF only working in debug folder.

  If I copy all the files from the debug folder and paste it somewhere it stops working gives me a sandbox error. ( I am not using any absolute paths) and everything seems to be fine in debug folder. Any Ideas? It's a actionscript project in flex builder.

  I have read here that one disadvantage that some may find with using Spring MVC over Struts is that Struts has tags that output HTML code, while Spring has tags that don't generate HTML. My question is can't you just use the Struts tag-lib in a Spring MVC project (or any other kind of framework project), by dropping the right jar into the WEB-INF/lib folder?   The title pretty much says it all... this code does not write anything to the console cause the collection is empty. Project p = new Project(engine); p.AddNewImport(@"C:\mytarget.targets",""); foreach(Import imp in p.Imports) Console.WriteLine(p.ProjectPath); But!, if I debug the code the collections get the imports, I guess it has to do with timming? :(

  I have a Silverlight 3 project in VS2008. Today, for whatever reason, I get an error when compiling. Configuration system failed to initialize It reports the error on Line 1, Column 1 for every .xaml file in the project. I did a repair on VS2008, reinstalled all the Silverlight 3 bits (e.g. SDK, VS2008 tools and the Controls Toolkit), but the problem still persists. Am I missing something simple?

  I'm looking to do a parallel programming project in C (probably using pthreads or maybe OpenMP) for a class. It will done by a group of about four students, and should take about 4 weeks.   Why there is a appname.vshost.exe file generated for the release version of my application? I might add that I'm using an external dll library and some unsafe code. What's even more interesting, my application launched from Release folder does not work correctly (it works OK when launched from Debug folder).
