  Hello, i think the fullcalendar jquery-plugin is a really great solution. i saw does the string for the title in the fullcalender plugin is escaped (htmlEscape). But i need to format some strings in the title for example bold text or colors, or small images? the solution with another plugin (for example qTip, like in the examples) will not the right way for me. is there anyway to format the title text?   In my web application I am using ajax and now I'd like the back and forward browser buttons to work.   Hello Everyone, I've written an jQuery-Plugin, which I want to use as Object. So I declared some functions within the plugin, which I want to call from any other location, just like an object with methods. Is that even possible? To keep it simple: (function( $ ){ $.fn.myPlugin = function(){ // Here I want methods... function foo() { // do something... } } })(jQuery); Then I want to call the inner function from outside the plugin like: $.myPlugin.foo(); But that doesn't seem to work. So is it even possible? Or are there any other solutions? I don't want to use an normal unrelated jQuery-Class for this purpose. Is it possible to get around this class-path size bug?

• Compiler Errors...it ran yesterday!?

  This is a pre-existing Java project being run in Eclipse 3.5.2 32 bit.. Day 1: Install Java SE 6 Update 20 JDK. Experience Crash in Eclipse. Install Java 5. Same problem-(uninstall java 5). Re-install Java 6. Install Eclipse 3.3.1. Install Eclipse 3.5.2. 32-bit. No problems. Run Eclipse 3.5.2. 64-bit. No problems. Set up the project, configure, and run. No problems. Day 2: Load Eclipse to start a new project. Previous project now has 940 errors. Error Type is "Java Problem". The project ran 100% without a problem on Day 1. The only thing that happened between Day 1 and Day 2 was restarting my computer. I just tried to recreate the project, step by step, and am still getting the same errors. I know it's not the code -- it was working. Not to mention that it's an opensource project, such a problem would be documented. I'm thinking something is wrong with my Java install. Or, perhaps, it's a 32-bit/64-bit problem. I'm running win7 64bit. So before formatting my window's partition, I thought I'd throw the problem your way to see if anyone knows what's going on. • SDK Platform Tools component missing - Similar to Android Eve below

  Ubuntu Linux 10.04//Eclipse 3.5.2 I'm new to Eclipse and Android. Eclipse is up and running simple Jave apps OK. I moved on to downloading the Android SDK starter package, which seemed to go OK. Ran the SDK manager and downladed Platforms 7,8 & 9. Installed the ADT package in Eclipse. I've tried to load the SDK path into the Eclipse Preferences, but it won't retain the path. After restart, Elipse says it can't find SDK package. Also,one message said that the (revision?) number of the ADT couldn't be found. I've reinstalled Eclipse a couple of times, and then gone through the SDK & ADT download procedures a couple of times and am stuck. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Hertfordkc Stupid question caused by not thoroughly reading the Android Developers Guide and the tutorials before trying to start a project. Don't know why I didn't get a message about a missing XML file.

• Building a J2EE dev/test setup on a single PC

  It's been a while since I did Java work, and even then I was never responsible for starting a large project from the very start... there were test/staging/production systems already running, etc, etc. Now I am looking to start a J2EE project from scratch on my trusty workstation, which has never been used for Java development and runs Windows 7 64bit. First of all, I'll be getting Eclipse. As far as writing the code goes I'm pretty happy. And running it through Eclipse is OK, but what I'd really want is to have a VM running MySQL and TomCat on which I can properly deploy my project and run/debug it 'remotely' from my dev PC. And I guess this should be done using Ant instead of letting Eclipse build the WAR for me, so that I don't end up with a dependence on Eclipse. I'm certain Eclipse can do this, so you hit a button and it runs Ant scripts, deploys and debugs for instance, but very hazy on it. Are there any good guides on this? I don't want to be taught Java, or even Ant, but rather the 'glue' parts like getting my test VM up and running under Windows, getting a build/test/deploy/run pipeline running through Eclipse, etc. One point, I only plan to use Windows... hosting a Windows VM on my Windwos desktop. And while I can use command-line tools like ant/svn, I'm much more a GUI person who loves IDE integration... I'd rather this didn't end up an argument about Linux or Vi, etc! I am looking for free, but am a MAPS subscriber, and run Win7 Ultimate in case that makes a difference as far as free VM solutions.

  How do you verify what the delimiter for a file is? I'm using eclipse to edit a script file on my windows system that I use to deploy on my unix server. The script specifies file names and I'd like to be certain that eclipse is saving the files with unix end of line delimiters. I've set my preferences to use the Unix Line Delimiter on new files using: Window > Preferences > General > Workspace > "New text file line delimiter" And have changed my script file's line delimiter using. File -> Convert Line Delimiters To Is there a way (preferably with the eclipse IDE) to check that there is no "\r"?

• Google Chrome pinned to Windows 7 taskbar not opening under pinned icon

  I have both Google Chrome and Eclipse pinned to my taskbar in Windows 7 64-Bit. However, when I launch these programs, they don't appear to open under the pinned taskbar icon Eclipse behaves similarly. The Eclipse launcher/workspace selector is under the pinned icon, but once the IDE opens, it moves from the pinned icon, to a new group at the end of the taskbar. Unpinning/repinning doesn't seem to do the trick. It's bothersome to have taskbar space wasted on both the launcher icon, and the window button. Anybody have an idea how to get normal behavior out of the taskbar?

• Grails 1.2.0 not finding plugins in the default repository.

  I do not know what changed in my environment, but all of a sudden I can not pull any plugins from the default repository. I went through the _*.groovy scripts and nothing has changed in my grails home directory and it appears that the default repository url is set correctly (DEFAULT_PLUGIN_DIST = "http://plugins.grails.org"). I am assuming it is an environment setting that changed on me, because if I switch to an old version of grails that I have installed, 1.1.1 for example, list-plugins is returning a full list of plugins. When I run grails list-plugins in my current 1.2.0 environment I get the following output: Welcome to Grails 1.2.0 - http://grails.org/ Licensed under Apache Standard License 2.0 Grails home is set to: /opt/grails-1.2.0 Base Directory: /Users/padraic/Projects/TestApplicationMachine Resolving dependencies... • Maven: properties not being substituted

  I'm using a maven plugin for install4j in my project, located here. That plugin lets you pass variables to install4j using the <compilerVariables> section. • Maven exec bash script and save output as property

  I'm wondering if there exists a Maven plugin that runs a bash script and saves the results of it into a property. My actual use case is to get the git source version. I found one plugin available online but it didn't look well tested, and it occurred to me that a plugin as simple as the one in the title of this post is all I need. • Consistent Flash Player Crash ONLY on YouTube

  It could be similar to one of the bugs listed on LaunchPad (#689158), but may not be. Basically, I used to occasionally get a crash on YouTube and opening a new browser or rebooting (don't remember which) took care of the problem. However, now, EVERY time I try to open a video on YouTube, I get the frowning block and the message, "The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed." However, Hulu would also call for Adobe, right? But I can see videos there.

Subclassing drawRow, get, and getCount() have got me part of the way there, but my implementation still doesn't look or work like the TextSpinBoxField in the RIM Blackberry library. • need major webcam help for project!!

  hey guys i have a porject where i have to be able to view my webcam on my mobile phone, which happens to be a blackberry bold 9700 but can also get a hold of an i pod touch so either phone is ok to use. the problem that i have is that everytime i do a search for help on this i end up with a program which enevitably asks for money and this is not allowd in the project, ive been trying to stream using vlc player and viewing it on the opera mini for blackberry but no such luck so far, any help would be great thanks a lot

• Collectd on ubuntu with perl plugin support

  For days I am struggling with enabling perl plugin support for collectd. I have installed colllectd 5.4.0 on a Aws ubuntu 13.04. Configured compiled. I have even installed libperl-dev. But when i run ./configure from collectd installation , it still says that "perl ....(needs libperl)" Now enabling the perl plugins from collectd.conf didnt help much. In logs i see that : plugin_load: Could not find plugin "perl" in /opt/collectd/lib/collectd and indeed there is not perl.so or whatever in that folder. Can someone help me out with that ?

• Disable Java Plugin in Google Chrome?

  This is the second time I've had a drive-by executable installed on my machine using the following: Google Chrome 6 (latest) Windows 7, UAC on This happened while I was browsing for images to add to a gaming.se post; one of the sites I visited (to get an image of a transfer cable) must have had drive-by browser exploit code running. UAC alerted me that a weird temporary executable wanted to run, and I declined, but I still got the fake antivirus executable running on my machine. Sigh.. I do have Java installed because I upload stuff monthly to clearbits.net and their uploader is a Java plugin. So my best guess is, websites are doing drive-by installs using the massive numbers of zero-day vulnerabilities in the Java browser plugins. For now, I have uninstalled Java, which works. But I wondered if I could disable the Java plugin in Google Chrome instead. So, how do you disable these vulnerable plugins in Google Chrome? I can't find the UI.

  I'm having trouble finding anything in Cisco's docs or with Google searches, so I'm hoping someone out in ServerFault land might know. We've recently enabled NLA domain-wide to protect against some of the recent RDP vulnerabilities. However, we can no longer use the Cisco WebVPN on our ASA to connect to these boxes (Connection Failure). I assume this is because the RDP2 plugin (as of Apr 27 2012) doesn't support NLA? Is there another version of the plugin that does? Thanks!

  Do you know a software or a plugin for a browser that lets me capture what's on my screen and crop it by ratio. I have a photoshop but I don't want to keep opening it just to capture a simple image and then croping it and then saving it. I want to quickly select a portion on my screen save it. If it's possible it lets me crop by ratio (eg. 4:3). Most that I will capture are in my browser, I use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
