  • Cannot redeclare class but there are no other classes with that name

    - by hsz
    Hello ! I am working right now with Zend Framework and I've created a Model_User_Row in app\models\User\Row.php. When I try to create an instance of that class in IndexController I get an error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Model_User_Row in F:\Projekty\www\inz\app\models\User\Row.php on line 14 14th line is a close brace. <?php class Model_User_Row extends Zend_Db_Table_Row { /** * @return array */ public function toArray() { $res = parent::toArray(); unset($res['password']); return $res; } } // #14 In my project I have no other class called Model_User_Row. I am a bit confused - how to debug this case ?

  • Map derived class as an independent one with FNH's Automap

    - by Anton Gogolev
    Hi! Basically, I have an ImageMetadata class and an Image class, which derives from ImageMetadata. Image adds one property: byte[] Content, which actually contains binary data. What I want to do is to map these two classes onto one table, but I absolutely do not need NHibernates' inheritance support to kick in. I want to tailor FNH Automap to produce something like: <class name="ImageMetadata" ...> <property name="Name" ... /> < ... /> <class name="Image" ...> <property name="Name" ... /> <property name="Content" ... /> < ... /> Is this at all possible?

  • Making your own "int" or "string" class

    - by amerninja13
    I disassembled the .NET 'System' DLL and looked at the source code for the variable classes (string, int, byte, etc.) to see if I could figure out how to make a class that could take on a value. I noticed that the "Int32" class inherits the following: IComparable, IFormattable, IConvertible, IComparable, IEquatable. The String and Int32 classes are not inheritable, and I can't figure out what in these inherited interfaces allows the classes to hold a value. What I would want is something like this: public class MyVariable : //inherits here { //Code in here that allows it to get/set the value } public static class Main(string[] args) { MyVariable a = "This is my own custom variable!"; MyVariable b = 2976; if(a == "Hello") { } if(b = 10) { } Console.WriteLine(a.ToString()); Console.WriteLine(a.ToString()); }

  • SpringBatch Jaxb2Marshaller: different name of class and xml attribute

    - by user588961
    I try to read an xml file as input for spring batch: Java Class: package de.example.schema.processes.standardprocess; @XmlAccessorType(XmlAccessType.FIELD) @XmlType(name = "Process", namespace = "http://schema.example.de/processes/process", propOrder = { "input" }) public class Process implements Serializable { @XmlElement(namespace = "http://schema.example.de/processes/process") protected ProcessInput input; public ProcessInput getInput() { return input; } public void setInput(ProcessInput value) { this.input = value; } } SpringBatch dev-job.xml: <bean id="exampleReader" class="org.springframework.batch.item.xml.StaxEventItemReader" scope="step"> <property name="fragmentRootElementName" value="input" /> <property name="resource" value="file:#{jobParameters['dateiname']}" /> <property name="unmarshaller" ref="jaxb2Marshaller" /> </bean> <bean id="jaxb2Marshaller" class="org.springframework.oxm.jaxb.Jaxb2Marshaller"> <property name="classesToBeBound"> <list> <value>de.example.schema.processes.standardprocess.Process</value> <value>de.example.schema.processes.standardprocess.ProcessInput</value> ... </list> </property> </bean> Input file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <process:process xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:process="http://schema.example.de/processes/process"> <process:input> ... </process:input> </process:process> It fires the following exception: [javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException: unexpected element (uri:"http://schema.example.de/processes/process", local:"input"). Expected elements are <<{http://schema.example.de/processes/process}processInput] at org.springframework.oxm.jaxb.JaxbUtils.convertJaxbException(JaxbUtils.java:92) at org.springframework.oxm.jaxb.AbstractJaxbMarshaller.convertJaxbException(AbstractJaxbMarshaller.java:143) at org.springframework.oxm.jaxb.Jaxb2Marshaller.unmarshal(Jaxb2Marshaller.java:428) If I change to in xml it work's fine. Unfortunately I can change neither the xml nor the java class. Is there a possibility to make Jaxb2Marshaller map the element 'input' to the class 'ProcessInput'?

  • What is the most simple way to execute java class every 30 seconds

    - by Gandalf StormCrow
    I've been reading about java/spring/hibernate and worked trough a "dummy" examples so I told my friend to recommend something a bit harder for me, and now I'm stuck.. here is the simplest class I could think of package spring.com.practice; public class Pitcher { private String shout; public String getShout() { return shout; } public void setShout(String shout) { this.shout = shout; } public void voice() { System.out.println(getShout()); } } What is the most simple way to print out something by calling metod voice() from spring beans, and do it repeadatly every 30 seconds lets say, here is what I've got so far : <bean id="simpleTrigger" class="org.springframework.scheduling.quartz.SimpleTriggerBean"> <property name="jobDetail" ref="jobSchedulerDetail" /> <property name="startDelay" value="0" /> <property name="repeatInterval" value="30" /> </bean> <bean class="org.springframework.scheduling.quartz.SchedulerFactoryBean"> <property name="schedulerName" value="pitcherScheduler" /> <property name="triggers"> <list> <ref bean="simpleTrigger" /> </list> </property> </bean> <bean id="pitcher" class="spring.com.practice.Pitcher"> <property name="shout" value="I started executing..."></property> </bean> And yes I'm trying to run this on Jboss 5, I'm building a project with maven.

  • Binding of JText fields value to Info Class

    - by Faizan Ahmed
    Is there any way to automatic binding of Swing JTextFields to Info Class. e.g private JTextField receiptId; private JTextField Id; public class Info { private string receiptId; private String id; // Getters and Setters } Is there any way when I entered values from Swing page then automatically values bind with my Info class? After that I can pass my Info object to other classes instead of sending all Text Fields.

  • Jquery / CSS – addClass to first:p of multiple div with specified class

    - by j-man86
    Hello, I'm using (trying to use) jQuery to add a class to the first paragraph of every div with class of ".djBio" My problem is that it's only adding the class to the first div.djBio, not all divs with that class. Here's the code. I am also using the fancy letter jquery plugin to add the drop cap to the first paragraph (which also is only applying to the first div.djBio, not all) jQuery(function( $ ){ $('.servicesContent p:first, .about-usContent p:first, .djBio p:first').fancyletter().addClass('firstP'); }); Thanks so much for your help!

  • Fluent / NHibernate Collections of the same class

    - by Charlie Brown
    I am new to NHibernate and I am having trouble mapping the following relationships within this class. public class Category : IAuditable { public virtual int Id { get; set; } public virtual string Name{ get; set; } public virtual Category ParentCategory { get; set; } public virtual IList<Category> SubCategories { get; set; } public Category() { this.Name = string.Empty; this.SubCategories = new List<Category>(); } } Class Maps (although, these are practically guesses) public class CategoryMap : ClassMap<Category> { public CategoryMap() { Id(x => x.Id); Map(x => x.Name); References(x => x.ParentCategory) .Nullable() .Not.LazyLoad(); HasMany(x => x.SubCategories) .Cascade.All(); } } Each Category may have a parent category, some Categories have many subCategories, etc, etc I can get the Category to Save correctly (correct subcategories and parent category fk exist in the database) but when loading, it returns itself as the parent category. I am using Fluent for the class mapping, but if someone could point me in the right direction for just plain NHibernate that would work as well.

  • .NET DefaultValue attribute

    - by Aaron
    I've heard people say a few different things about the DefaultValue attribute including: "It sets the value of the property before anything else uses it." "It doesn't work for autoproperties." "It's only for decoration. You must manually set actual default values." Which (if any) is right? Does DefaultValue actually set default values? Are there cases where it doesn't work? Is it best just not to use it?

  • Not all symbols of an DLL-exported class is exported (VS9)

    - by mandrake
    I'm building a DLL from a group of static libraries and I'm having a problem where only parts of classes are exported. What I'm doing is declaring all symbols I want to export with a preprocessor definition like: #if defined(MYPROJ_BUILD_DLL) //Build as a DLL # define MY_API __declspec(dllexport) #elif defined(MYPROJ_USE_DLL) //Use as a DLL # define MY_API __declspec(dllimport) #else //Build or use as a static lib # define MY_API #endif For example: class MY_API Foo{ ... } I then build static library with MYPROJ_BUILD_DLL & MYPROJ_USE_DLL undefined causing a static library to be built. In another build I create a DLL from these static libraries. So I define MYPROJ_BUILD_DLL causing all symbols I want to export to be attributed with __declspec(dllexport) (this is done by including all static library headers in the DLL-project source file). Ok, so now to the problem. When I use this new DLL I get unresolved externals because not all symbols of a class is exported. For example in a class like this: class MY_API Foo{ public: Foo(char const* ); int bar(); private: Foo( char const*, char const* ); }; Only Foo::Foo( char const*, char const*); and int Foo::bar(); is exported. How can that be? I can understand if the entire class was missing, due to e.g. I forgot to include the header in the DLL-build. But it's only partial missing. Also, say if Foo::Foo( char const*) was not implemented; then the DLL build would have unresolved external errors. But the build is fine (I also double checked for declarations without implementation). Note: The combined size of the static libraries I'm combining is in the region of 30MB, and the resulting DLL is 1.2MB. I'm using Visual Studio 9.0 (2008) to build everything. And Depends to check for exported symbols.

  • friend declaration block an external function access to the private section of a class

    - by MiP
    I'm trying to force function caller from a specific class. For example this code bellow demonstrate my problem. I want to make 'use' function would be called only from class A. I'm using a global namespace all over the project. a.h #include "b.h" namespace GLOBAL{ class A{ public: void doSomething(B); } } a.cpp #include "a.h" using namespace GLOBAL; void A::doSomething(B b){ b.use(); } b.h namespace GLOBAL{ class B{ public: friend void GLOBAL::A::doSomething(B); private: void use(); } Compiler says: ‘GLOBAL::A’ has not been declared ‘void GLOBAL::B::use()’ is private Can anyone help here ? Thanks a lot, Mike.

  • hiding inner class implementation using namespace

    - by Abruzzo Forte e Gentile
    Hi all I am developing a library and a would like to provide my users a public interface separate from the real implementatino that is hidden in a namespace. This way, I could change only the class HiddenQueue without changing myQueue that will be exposed to users only. If I put the C++ code of HiddenQueue in the myQueue.cpp file the compiler complains saying _innerQueue has incomplete type. I thought that the linker was able to resolve this. What I am doing wrong here? Thanks Afg // myQueue.h namespace inner{ class HiddenQueue; }; class myQueue{ public: myQueue(); ); private: inner::HiddenQueue _innerQueue; }; /////////////////////////// // myQueue.cpp namespace inner{ class HiddenQueue{}; };

  • Exposing an ISO C++ class to C#

    - by Stick it to THE MAN
    I need to expose some C++ classes to C# (I am building on Linux, using mono, so COM is not an option) The evidence I have gathered so far suggests that the best way to approach this is: Write a wrapper C++.Net class around the ISO C++ class Consume the C++.Net classes from C# I have the following questions: First, is this the "best" way of achieving the goal of exposing ISO C++ classes to C# ? So far though, I have not seen any examples that actually show how to do this - can anyone suggest some links, or a code snippet to show how this is done for a dummy class? How may I send asynchronous message notifications from the C++ code to the C# code ?. Ideally, I would like to cause the C# class to raise an event, with the received data as an argument

  • How to hide the title bar while application is loading and show it when it finishes loading?

    - by Arci
    I have an application which uses a custom title bar. However, when my application launches, I noticed that the default title bar is shown for a brief period of time. My problem is I don't want to show the default title bar while my application is loading. How do I hide the title bar while my application is loading so that there will be no hint of it and then show it afterwards? So far, I tried the following solutions but none have worked: Hide the title bar in XML and then set the custom title bar in code. (Problem encountered: I received an error message saying: "You cannot combine custom titles with other title features".) In XML: <item name="android:windowNoTitle">true</item> In onCreate method: requestWindowFeature(Window.FEATURE_CUSTOM_TITLE); //... some code goes here getWindow().setFeatureInt(Window.FEATURE_CUSTOM_TITLE, R.layout.title_header); Set the size of the title bar in XML to 0. Then change it's size via code later. (Problem encountered: I don't know how to set the size of title bar in code. Is it possible? I tried getWindow().setAttributes() and getWindow().setLayout() but both of them didn't worked.)" In XML: <item name="android:windowTitleSize">30dp</item> Modify windowTitleBackgroundStyle and set a transparent drawable as background. (Problem encountered: The content of the title bar became invisible but a line below the title bar is still visible.) In XML: <!-- style used by windowTitleBackgroundStyle --> <item name="android:background">@drawable/transparent</item>

  • What is the .NET attribuet to not compile a method is release mode

    - by Russ
    I know that if I have a block of code I don't want compiled when in release mode I can wrap that code block in: #if DEBUG while(true) { Console.WriteLine("StackOverflow rules"); } #endif This will keep this code block from compiling in any mode other than DEBUG. I know there is an attribute that can be placed on an entire method that will do that same, but for the life of me I can't remember what that attribute is. I believe that it’s down the System.Diagnostics namespace, but I'm not really sure. BTW: I'm using .NET 4, but I know this attribute existed in .NET 2 because I have used in in old projects. Thanks

  • representing an XML config file with an IXmlSerializable class

    - by Sarah Vessels
    I'm writing in C# and trying to represent an XML config file through an IXmlSerializable class. I'm unsure how to represent the nested elements in my config file, though, such as logLevel: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration> <logging> <logLevel>Error</logLevel> </logging> <credentials> <user>user123</user> <host>localhost</host> <password>pass123</password> </credentials> <credentials> <user>user456</user> <host>my.other.domain.com</host> <password>pass456</password> </credentials> </configuration> There is an enum called LogLevel that represents all the possible values for the logLevel tag. The tags within credentials should all come out as strings. In my class, called DLLConfigFile, I had the following: [XmlElement(ElementName="logLevel", DataType="LogLevel")] public LogLevel LogLevel; However, this isn't going to work because <logLevel> isn't within the root node of the XML file, it's one node deeper in <logging>. How do I go about doing this? As for the <credentials> nodes, my guess is I will need a second class, say CredentialsSection, and have a property such as the following: [XmlElement(ElementName="credentials", DataType="CredentialsSection")] public CredentialsSection[] AllCredentials; Edit: okay, I tried Robert Love's suggestion and created a LoggingSection class. However, my test fails: var xs = new XmlSerializer(typeof(DLLConfigFile)); using (var stream = new FileStream(_configPath, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read, FileShare.Read)) { using (var streamReader = new StreamReader(stream)) { XmlReader reader = new XmlTextReader(streamReader); var file = (DLLConfigFile)xs.Deserialize(reader); Assert.IsNotNull(file); LoggingSection logging = file.Logging; Assert.IsNotNull(logging); // fails here LogLevel logLevel = logging.LogLevel; Assert.IsNotNull(logLevel); Assert.AreEqual(EXPECTED_LOG_LEVEL, logLevel); } } The config file I'm testing with definitely has <logging>. Here's what the classes look like: [Serializable] [XmlRoot("logging")] public class LoggingSection : IXmlSerializable { public XmlSchema GetSchema() { return null; } [XmlElement(ElementName="logLevel", DataType="LogLevel")] public LogLevel LogLevel; public void ReadXml(XmlReader reader) { LogLevel = (LogLevel)Enum.Parse(typeof(LogLevel), reader.ReadString()); } public void WriteXml(XmlWriter writer) { writer.WriteString(Enum.GetName(typeof(LogLevel), LogLevel)); } } [Serializable] [XmlRoot("configuration")] public class DLLConfigFile : IXmlSerializable { [XmlElement(ElementName="logging", DataType="LoggingSection")] public LoggingSection Logging; }
