  • Can't set Visible attribute in ASP.NET Panels

    I am having trouble with visible attribute of an ASP.NET Panel control. I have a page that calls a database table and returns the results in a datagrid. Requirements If some of the returned values are null I need to hide the image that's next to it.     Hi, i have a problem, and maybe someone can help me, i will explain... i have the in javascript "var date= new date();" and its give me the local time (browser time) but i want force this data/time for a especific local... for example...   • How do I set a property to the output of a command in msbuild/xbuild

    In msbuild/xbuild I'd like to have a "libPath" property which can be ovveridden on the commandline using /p:libpath="/path/to/all/libs". But when this property is undefined I want to call pkg-config --retrieve-Path somePackage to get the current systems path. I thought like here I need the output of a command to be stored in a Property. The command always returns one line of output. I have tryied something like <PropertyGroup> <LibPath /> </PropertyGroup> <Task ....> <Exec Command="pkg-config --retrieve-Path somePackage" Condition="$(LibPath)' == ''"> <OutputTaskParameter="output" PropertyName="LibPath" /> </Exec> </Task> But that didn't work.

    As most of you know a couple of top universities (MIT, Stanford, etc) around the world are now publishing videos of their lectures online. I am advancing to the third and final year of my computer science degree this September and I was thinking about spending some time during the summer to watch a couple of lectures, in order to improve my understanding of algorithms, complexity, programming, software engineering, etc. Now I don't have infinite time to spend so I can't watch all of the lectures from all of the universities so I was wondering if you could suggest me which sets to watch from each one (something like "Algorithms from MIT", "Programming from Yale", etc).

  • Java-Eclipse-Spring 3.1 - the fastest way to get familiar with this set

    I, know almost all of you at some point of your life as a programmer get to the point where you know (more or less) different technologies/languages/IDEs and a times come when you want to get things together and start using them once - more efficient and second - more closely to the real life situation where in fact just knowing Java, or some experience with Eclipse doesn't mean nothing, and what makes you a programmer worth something is the ability to work with the combination of 2 or more combinations. Having this in mind here is my question - what do you think is the optimal way of getting into Java+Eclipse+Spring3.1 world. I've read, and I've read a lot. I started writing real code but almost every step is discovering the wheel again and again, wondering how to do thing you know are some what trivial, but you've missed that one article where this topic was discussed and so on. I don't mind for paying for a good tutorial like for example, after a bit of research I decided that instead of losing a lot of time getting the different parts together I'd rather pay for the videos in http://knpuniversity.com/screencast/starting-in-symfony2-tutorial and save myself a lot of time (I hope) and get as fast as possible to writing a real code instead of wondering what do what and so on. But I find it much more difficult to find such sources of info especially when you want something more specific as me and that's the reason to ask this question. I know a lot of you go through the hard way, and I won't give up if I have to do the same, but to be honest I really hope to get post with good tutorials on the subject (paid or not) because in my situation time is literally money.     I am trying to dynamically change the width and height of a Sprite object, which is a container for other similar Sprite objects. The container object automatically changes it's size according to the size of it's children, but when I change the position of the children objects, the size of the container stays the same and it's children appear to be placed outside of the container. I tried to solve this problem by using something like this: if (container.width < (child.x + child.width)) { container.width = (child.x + child.width); } but when I use this code, the container object's children are scaled. Is there a way to change the container's size without scaling it's children?

Whats the correct way to tell the table view where its delegate methods are? (This is my first attempt at trying to use a UITableView without selecting the UITableTableview controller from the new file options)

  • Texture repeats even with GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE set

    Hi, i'm trying to put a translucing texture on a face which uses points 1 to 4 (don't mind the numbers) on the following screenshot Sadly as you can see the texture repeats herself in both dimensions, I tried to switch the TEXTURE_WRAP_S from REPEAT to CLAMP_to_EDGE but it doesn't change anything.   • Why doesn't my binding update whenever EditingElementStyle AND ElementStyle are set to a custom styl

    In my Visual Studio 2010 WPF application, I have the following (simplified) style: <Style x:Key="MyStyle" TargetType="{x:Type CheckBox}"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Blue" /> </Style> If I use it as the ElementStyle AND EditingElementStyle in my DataGridCheckBoxColumn: <DataGridCheckBoxColumn Binding="{Binding IsEnabled}" ElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" EditingElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" /> Then my binding, IsEnabled, does not toggle when I check/uncheck a row's checkbox. If I remove either ElementStyle, EditingElementStyle, or both, then the binding updates no problem. Why is this?! Note: sometimes clicking around will produce an update to the binding (detected via debugging) - this is not the same as clicking another row to "commit" the value, though! Thanks!

    Whenever I switch workspaces/Eclipse installs I need to copy/redo the preferences: compiler settings; font sizes/families; code formatter; java code templates; editor templates; code clean-ups; I would like to maintain these settings in an unitary way, preferrably under source control. How can I do that? I know about 'copy settings' when creating a new workspace, but it does not keep updated copies.

    HI, i am using the following code to show a link which is inside the li element. the constrain is, once the mouse enter into li element, and if it's stay inside 3sec, then it need to show. once i leave from li element, immateriality it should hide. for this, i am using : var showTimeOut; var thisElement $('.user-list li').live('mouseover',function(){ thisElement = $(this).children('a.copier-link'); showTimeOut = setInterval(function(){ thisElement.css({'display':'block'}); },3000); }) $('.user-list li').live('mouseleave',function(){ clearInterval(showTimeOut); thisElement.hide(); }) It's work fine. But the problem is, while i cross the li element with just a second, even the interval is calling, and showing the link. but i need to show only, if i stay inside 3sec and it need to hide there after, again i stay back 3sec. anything wrong with my code?, else any one give me the best suggestion?   • `DesignMode` in subcontrols is not set correctly?

    I have a compound control contains nested controls. The problem i am facing is that control read properties from a global setting class which is static and intern read from setting file. To stop individual control from accessing configuration in design mode i added check in each control. If(!DesignMode){ ... //Initialize properties e.g. prop = AppConfig.GetProperty("prop1"); } The problem is that individual control work fine when open in VS. But when i open top control containing nested control i get error by VS designer. The error is that in a nested control DesignMode=false for some reason. I also created a test app and created a simple control within another control to test if there is a problem with VS but it seem to work correctly for any depth of controls. I dont even know how to debug this. For now i comment out the property initializing code and build it and then open designer and there uncomment it and build it again to run it. Did anyone came across this problem or is there any way to fix it.
