  • jQuery add class is not working

    Hey ya'll I have this code here and it suppose to add the class name "cboxElement" $(".wpcart_gallery a:first").addClass("cboxElement"); but it does not work. I have the proper Jquery file in my header, I have surrounded this in jQuery('document').ready(function($){......}); and it works for all my other Jquery but the add class call. here is what I am trying to add the class to... <div class="wpcart_gallery" style="text-align:center; padding-top:5px;"> <a class="thickbox" href="DSC_0037.jpg" rev="DSC_0037.jpg"></a> </div> Anybody know why this isnt working?   • Android Plugin in Eclipse 3.5 on Ubuntu 64bit got problems with properties

    Hi there! I got a huge problem with the Android Development Tools ADT running in Eclipse Galileo (3.5.1) on Ubuntu 9.10, 64bit. On this platform, I do not manage to see any property edit dialogs for layout properties. E.g. the one where you can select a string resource ID for text fields, or a drawable ID for image fields or backgrounds. Whenever I click on the ... button next to the property value - nothing happens, except this button disappears. Properties with a list of possible values, e.g. "wrap_content" or "fill_parent" are displayed in a dropdown box directly in the properties field. On a different system I work in a Windows environment with Eclipse 3.4 and the same ADT: no problems whatsoever, everything works fine, the dialogs come perfectly. Does anyone know what to do here? Where's the problem? Why does Eclipse not tell me that something goes wrong? Thanks! NEW DISCOVERIES: I found out that it might not even be an Android problem, but a general Eclipse problem that I can see with all version (Ganymede, Galileo, Helios) on my Linux (Ubuntu) system. It must be a simple UI problem: the button with ... next to the values does not receive the mouse click!! I managed to see the appropriate dialogs to edit the property values by doubleclicking the button - crazy, strange, ugly behavior! But why on earth does nobody else know about this problem - I cannot find anything else on the net about it! Could it be related to this strange "GDK native window problem" on Gnome? HELP!

The problem is that the code above doesn't work, but if I put it within this div it works fine. I think it is maybe because this jquery plugin is applied before generating html by javascript, but I am not sure. Any ideas?

    I'm a bit new to the C#-form app developing and I want know, what's the best way around at making a control that holds a list of horizontal items. In which each of these items are horizontally ruled to it's parent control, contain a thumbnail to the left and a large text block to the right of image and a smaller text block underneath that. So basically this isn't a predefined control I can find in the toolbox. Any ideas?

  • How to retrieve parent container ID after sorting using Jquery sortable??

    Hello I have following markup and javascript to sort some items. Items can be sorted within a block or across other blocks. It works but I have a problem in retrieving correct block ID after an item is moved from one block to another. For example, if I move item 1 within "Block 1", I get "I am in Block= block_1" but if I move Item 1 to Block 2 I still get I am in Block 1. But I want to make the block 2 as its parent container. I need to retrieve this id so that I can do some ajax and update the db accordingly.   • How can you adjust the height of a jquery UI accordian?

    In my UI I have an accordian setup that so far functions <div id="object_list"> <h3>Section 1</h3> <div>...content...</div> // More sections </div> The accordian works properly when it is first formed, and it seems to adjust itself well for the content inside each of the sections. However, if I then add more content into the accordian after the .accordian() call (via ajax), the inner for the section ends up overflowing. Since the accordian is being formed with almost no content, all the inner divs are extremely small, and thus the content overflows and you get accordians with scrollbars inside with almost no viewing area. I have attempted to add min-height styles to the object_list div, and the content divs to no avail. Adding the min-height to the inner divs kind of worked, but it messed up the accordian's animations, and adding it to the object_list div did absolutely nothing. How can I get a reasonable size out of the content sections even when there is not enough content to fill those sections?

I see that the jquery docs supply the object for oldHeader, but I am trying to change the CSS of that element. Any ideas how I would do that?   • Trouble dragging and dropping gui components onto other .net forms using NHibernate

    Hi, using VS2008, here. I have a GUI component that loads some stuff from a database mapped by nhibernate in its constructor. When I drag and drop this component onto another form from the toolbox, NHibernate complains that it can't find the config file in program files\visual studio 9\common7\ide. Why is it looking here for the cfg file? I'm actually calling database stuff through another project in the same solution, and the cfg file is located at the root of that project. copy/pasting the cfg file over to there does work, but I'm working with svn here and I don't want to have configuration files outside the repository. Something else that would help would be turning off how it tries to load the data in the form design screen. How would I do that?

  • Filtering forms in MS Access

    I have a simple form showing products from my database. Each product has a foreign key to manufacturer_id . I would like to filter my form by manufacturer_id instead of default product_id. How I can do that ? I know I must create a macro. Also I've already created a query, that takes manufacturer's name as argument and returns manufacturer_id. So basically it should work in this way, that when I press 'Filter' button on my form, it runs macro that opens my query asking for manufacturer's name. And when the name is returned the whole form is filtered (so somewhere there should be comparison between manufacturer_id in product and that returned from query, but I can't manage to do that).     If we look at the latest jQuery source at http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js we see the following: var jQuery = function( selector, context ) { // The jQuery object is actually just the init constructor 'enhanced' return new jQuery.fn.init( selector, context ); } My understanding of the new keyword in Javascript is essentially JavaScript passes the function an empty object {} and the function sets stuff on it via this.blah. Also from my understanding new differs from .call/.apply etc.. in that the return object also has the prototype set to that of the function. So the return value should have a prototype that the same as jQuery.prototype.init.prototype (or jQuery.fn.init.prototype). However from what I see its prototype is set to jQuery.prototype thus all the commands available to work on the set. Why is this? What am I missing in my understanding?

My problem at the very first time my action is being invoked. The selectionChanged method is called only after the menu item has been displayed (and not when the user has made the selection) which means that the call to a.setEnabled() will have no affect. Any ideas on how to make my action receive selectionChanged() notifications even before the fist time it is being invoked?

When we try to deploy to a remote environment we have a problem. We use a two machine cluster, with the admin server and managed server on one machine, and another managed server on a seperate machine. When your plugin uploads the application to the admin server, it doesn't copy it to the second managed server on the seperate machine. This then causes the second managed server a problem, as it cannot find the application in the location where the admin server saved it on its own machine. My input field is: <label for="frmComTelephone">Telephone</label> <input type="number" name="Telephone" id="frmComTelephone"/> But that CSS isn't working how do I solve this? 2ND problem is I have the following CSS: input:focus { background-color:yellow; } input[type="text"], input[type="date"],input[type="time"],input[type="number"],textarea,select { border-radius:5px; border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; border-color: #C6C6C6; height:41px; background-color: #FF3434; width: 100%; } But when the item is focused it doesn't change to yellow, if i remove "background-color: #FF3434;" it turns yellow on focus? Is what I am doing not able to be done? Or am I going about this wrong? Thanks
