  • How to access items by "group" in an Outlook VB macro?

    By "group" I mean the collapsible classifications that you get when you enable View-Arrange By-Show in Groups. This divides e.g. messages in a folder into Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Two Weeks Ago, and so on. What I'd like to be able to do is iterate over the messages that are currently classified within a given group. Is this possible?

    Ok SO, I have a user table and want to define groups of users together. The best solution I have for this is to create three database tables as follows: UserTable user_id user_name UserGroupLink group_id member_id GroupInfo group_id group_name This method keeps the member and group information separate. This is just my way of thinking. Is there a better way to do this? Also, what is a good naming convention for tables that link two other tables?

  • How can I dynamically resize the jQuery Colorbox plugin?

    The AJAX content loaded in a Colorbox has some JavaScript included that resizes things within the content. Colorbox determines its sizing based on the sizes before all of the AJAX happens. How can I make the Colorbox resize after the content has been loaded?   • AspxPivotGrid Group column header

    I want to be able to add a parent column header to each pair of columns shown below. So I want it to look like this: Grand Total OnHand Available Anyone know a way to do this? I know you can group columns together but I'm wondering how I can apply a label to those groups. Alternatively, if theres no way to do that, I could just override the "Grand Total" display text. The only problem is I can't get it aligned above its correct columns.

Could this possibly be because I did not specify the number of headers? This would naturally be a single header for every letter in the alphabet.

  • Android TimePicker hour field disappears after orientation change

    I am using a TimePicker under API 1.5 and when the orientation is changed on my device (a stock G1 running 1.6 - though NOT on the 1.5/1.6 emulator), the hour field goes blank. It still remembers the hour, it just doesn't show it. Is there any workaround for this?   • Sort Outlook Inbox "Arrange By" | Switch between FROM and Conversation View

    Using VBA and a toolbar button, I'd like to be able to Switch between FROM and Conversation View, but I just work how to or find any code to do this. I tried the Sort Methods but, they only work in memory and don't re-sort the actual inbox. I use Conversation View for GMail style functionality with my Sent items BCC'd to myself, but want to switch to 'From' with all Groups Collapsed - so that I can find emails from certain people quickly.     Hi, At the company I work for, we are building a cluster of web applications for collaboration. Things like accounting, billing, CRM etc. We are using a RESTfull technique: For database we use CouchDB Different applications communicate with one another and with the database via http. Besides, we have a single sign on solution, so that when you login in one application, you are automatically logged to the other. For all apps we use Python (Pylons). Now we need to add instant messaging to the stack. We need to support both web and desktop clients. But just being able to chat is not enough. We need to be able to achieve all of the following (and more similar things). When somebody gets assigned to a task, they must receive a message. I guess this is possible with some system daemon. There must be an option to automatically group people in groups by lots of different properties. For example, there must be groups divided both by geographical location, by company division, by job type (all the programers from different cities and different company divisions must form a group), so that one can send mass messages to a group of choice. Rooms should be automatically created and destroyed. For example when several people visit the same invoice, a room for them must be automatically created (and they must auto-join). And when all leave the invoice, the room must be destroyed. Authentication and authorization from our applications. I can implement this using custom solutions like hookbox http://hookbox.org/docs/intro.html but then I'll have lots of problems in supporting desktop clients. I have no former experience with instant messaging. I've been reading about this lately. I've been looking mostly at things like ejabberd. But it has been a hard time and I can't find whether what I want is possible at all. So I'd be happy if people with experience in this field could help me with some advice, articles, tales of what is possible etc.

  • dotted stroke in <canvas>

    I guess it is not possible to set stroke property such as CSS which is quite easy. With CSS we have dashed, dotted, solid but on canvas when drawing lines/or strokes this doesn't seem to be an option. How have you implemented this? I've seen some examples but they are really long for such a silly function.   • A more elegant way to parse a string with ruby regular expression using variable grouping?

    At the moment I have a regular expression that looks like this: ^(cat|dog|bird){1}(cat|dog|bird)?(cat|dog|bird)?$ It matches at least 1, and at most 3 instances of a long list of words and makes the matching words for each group available via the corresponding variable. Is there a way to revise this so that I can return the result for each word in the string without specifying the number of groups beforehand? ^(cat|dog|bird)+$ works but only returns the last match separately , because there is only one group.

However, I noticed that the project settings for Spring allows for the creation of "Config Sets" -- which look like groups of bean configuration files. I cannot find documentation for this feature anywhere...anyone know what it does?

  • Accessing SVN repository from CCNet (CruiseControl.net) using an Active Directory user

    I have CCNet setup to talk to our SVN repository, which has it's ACLs setup using Active Directory groups. This is working fine, except I'm not happy with having the user name and password of the AD user stored in plain text on the CCNet instance. Is there a way to either encrypt the AD username/password, or get the CCNet service (I've tried running the service as the user and removing the the username/password section of the CCNet/SVN config) to use a domain account outside of the standard config?

Basically I want to do the grouping, and then select certain columns, but when I do select new { grp. } I get no intellisense, so I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any ideas?
