  Is is somehow possible to control letter spacing when using Graphics.DrawString? I cannot find any overload to DrawString or Font that would allow me to do so. g.DrawString("MyString", new Font("Courier", 44, GraphicsUnit.Pixel), Brushes.Black, new PointF(262, 638)); By letter spacing I mean the distance between letters. With spacing MyString could look like M y S t r i n g if I added enough space.

  Hi there; Does anyone know how to stop a UIWebView from bouncing vertically? I mean when a user touches their iphone screen, drags their finger downwards, and the webview shows a blank spot above the web page I had loaded? • Prevent Custom Entity being deleted from Entity Framework during Update Model Wizard

  In Entity Framework v1 If you create a Custom Entity to map it to a Stored Procedure during FunctionImport and then Select "Update Model from Database" the Update Model Wizard removes the Custom Entity (as added Manually in the SSDL XML prior to functionImport) from the SSDL. Does anyone know if this limitation has been dealt with Entity Framework v4? I mean is there a way to prevent the Wizard from removing the Custom Entity from the Storage Schema (SSDL) during Model Update from Database????

• I dont understand Access modifiers in OOP (JAVA)

  I know this is a silly question but i don't understand Access Modifiers in OOP. Why do we make for example in JAVA instance variables private and then use public getter and setter methods to access them? I mean whats the reasoning/logic behind this? You still get to the instance variable but why use setter and getter methods when you can just make your variables public? please excuse my ignorance as i'm simply trying to understand why we do this? When I opened the project,I got a message The projectfile 'C:\Program Files\Subsonic\Subsonic 2.0.3\src\SubSonic\SubSonic.csproj' has been moved, renamed or is not on your computer. Does it mean I need to install Subsonic 2.0.3, I tried to find the same version but could not find it.   Hi All, Is it possible to hyperlink a url in excel automatically. I mean when the cell starts with something like http or www can I hyperlink that. Currently, I have to hit enter in the cell value in the formula bar to make the link as clickable. Also if I change the value in the cell, the link doesnt get refreshed until I hit enter.   I was wondering how drawing applications draw the entire time the mouse is down without having empty gaps. What I mean is, for example if the program only drew circles at the mouse's X, y coordinate, then if the mouse went too quicly it would seem like a bunch of little circles rather than a nice continuous line. How can this be done without constantly drawing a short straight line between where the mouse was 0.001 seconds ago and where the mouse now is. Thanks

  Hello, we use in all our pages in the 1st line of our HTML code the: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> We are moving on to the new IE8 and we would like to keep the DOCTYPE unchanged, is there any suggestions/warnings we better be aware of? I mean like: "Be careful that CSS min-width is not working anymore in IE8 transitional, be careful that it will screw up page in this and that, etc." Thanks!
