    Hi, I have an SQL database table, I want to find everything in a table where the 'Room' says 'DISPOSED', Insert 'DISPOSED' into the 'Status' field and then delete the entry in 'Room'. Basically moving the entry from one field to another (if the 'Room' field has 'DISPOSED' in it) Hope this makes sense. Thanks for any help.

    Hi I am having trouble in dragging a image within a loader. I am able to do zooming and rotating image but not moving image with mouse. Purpose is when I zoom a image info is out of boundaries and so is hidden. To see that info users should be able to drag the image any way they want. Please help.

Their location is obtained by this function: NSString *pathInDocumentDirectory(NSString *fileName) { NSArray *documentDirectories = NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSDocumentDirectory, NSUserDomainMask, YES); NSString *documentDirectory = [documentDirectories objectAtIndex: 0]; return [documentDirectory stringByAppendingPathComponent: fileName]; } The files are now required on the device as testing of the app is moving from the simulator to actual devices. How do I transfer the data files from my current working environment to the devices?

    I was wondering if there was any kind of portable (Mac&Windows) method of reading and writing to the hard drive which goes beyond iostream.h, in particular features like getting a list of all the files in a folder, moving files around, ect.   • Drawing performance in Java 6 updates 19,20 versus Java 6 update 3 ?

    I'm getting twice the frame rate with the earlier Java 6 u 3, than with the new ones. Very weird. Can anyone give some explanation? On Core 2 Duo 1.83ghz, integrated video (only one core is used) - 1500 (older java) vs 700 fps On Athlon 64 3500+, discrete video - 120 (older java) vs 55 fps The app is a simple game with a moving rectangle. I'm using Graphics2D to draw from a loop.

  • Debug assertion does not prompt in IIS 7

    Hi, since moving to Windows 7 (IIS 7.5), the debug assertions do not prompt a pop up dialog anymore. I have tested this in a separate project, and noticed that they do work when using the integrated Visual Studio Developer server (Cassini) but they do not work when using IIS Web Server. This is a big issue for us since we are counting on debug assertions to identify potential programming errors, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Eyal.

It seems as though my validators can stay much the same only they should inherit the System.Web.Http.Validation namespace. What I can't figure out is how to add the provider to Web API. When using MVC I can just add the following to my global.asax: ModelValidatorProviders.Providers.Add(new CustomModelValidatorProvider()); How do I use the custom provider with Web API?

    I've this application, where two children are playing catch. One throws and the other catches. While I can show a ball object moving between two stationary objects, how do I show the objects "releasing" and "catching" the ball, in a way that is close to lifelike?     I currently have two buttons that say left and right, and I want them to move a square object left and right respectively. What its currently doing when i press left is moving the square to the left, and if I press left again, it resets from the center and goes left. I want it so that when I press left, from where ever it is currently to go left and right. I know the principle is something like get current objects position and add the canvas coordinates respectively but how do I do this?

  • Loading from pickled data causes database error with new saves

    In order to save time moving data I pickled some models and dumped them to file. I then reloaded them into another database using the same exact model. The save worked fine and the objects kept their old id which is what I wanted. However, when saving new objects I run into nextval errors. Not being very adept with postgres, I'm not sure how to fix this so I can keep old records with their existing ID while being able to continue adding new data. Thanks, Thomas

Example - how do I know to show the Find.png vs the [email protected] Is it "safe" or "correct" to look for 4.x specific apis or does the iphone have a way to determine what platform you are on at runtime?
