• Visual studio 2008 - Find in files : lists everything twice

  In VS2008, I have a web-site project. When I use find in files and search for a string, the find results window will list every occurence twice. What could be causing this? [EDIT] Below is the screen capture from VS. I was searching for the work CommissionBucketProductID within my website project. Notice that each line is returned twice. [EDIT2] In response to your questions. I am only searching within the project, not the whole solution. I currently don't have these files under VSS, although they were in the past.

  This is not really a programming question but please bear with me as I just need some push to the right road. What is and what should I search for to create a Skype A-Like plugin? I want to be able to capture the Phone Number (Web Browser, Word and Outlook for starts) and change it to present a link that the user can click to search that Phone Number in the CRM Application, given him the ability to open that client profile or make a call (we have a PBX Dial software). Additionally, any of these numbers (and any preceding .) may be missing. So the following are valid and parse as: 1.23.456 = version 1, release 23, modification 456 1.23 = version 1, release 23, any modification 1.23.* = version 1, release 23, any modification 1.* = version 1, any release, any modification 1 = version 1, any release, any modification * = any version, any release, any modification But these are not valid: *.12 *123.1 12* 12.*.34 Can anyone provide me a not-too-complex regex to validate and retrieve the release, version and modification numbers? • Persist url parameter throughout grails app

  Essentially I am looking to have a url query parameter persist throughout the life of the grails application (POST or GET). ex. http://localhost:8080/demo/controller/action/?myParam=foobar I have tried a couple routes. Dynamic method overriding redirect and customizing application tags for createLink. However, since I also use grails webflows it doesn't quite get every single URL. I also tried using a groovy servlet (groovlet) to capture every URL and append the query parameter. The last attempt hasn't been very successful. Am I missing an obvious component to grails? Am I on the right track? Is there another avenue I haven't explored yet? Thanks in advance

• paypal redirect on successful checkout

  I am trying to get my Paypal subscription to redirect to a custom page after a successful checkout. Before submitting to Paypal I overload the submit handler, run my own function (to store details) and return a unique id. I want to attach that id to my return URL. (as a GET or POST var so to speak) I have turned auto redirect "on" in my Paypal sandbox sellers preferences, but it only seems to re-direct to the URL that I HAVE to put in there. using the <input type="hidden" name="return" value="someurl" /> does no seem to work. I want it this way so that I can capture the user information when entered with a "non-paid" flag, then via the IPN I can update that record with a "PAID" flag, and I want to use the unique ID to tie it all together so to speak. Any advice or a different approach is welcomed. Many thanks!

I have a business object that stores some data in named properties and other data in a property bag. Different views make different assumptions about the data in the property bag, which I capture in page-specific view models.   Here's my problem. I'd like to have a timeout for a process I start from Java. After the timeout, I'd like to kill the process. So far, so good. Problem is, I want to capture stderr/stdout during both normal execution and after a timeout. What happens if I kill the process with destroy()? Can I retrieve the (partial) stderr/stdout produced so far? Or are they gone?

I can't find any explanation (that I can understand) about the right hand side of the - symbol. • can I see all SQL statements sent over an ODBC connection?

  I'm working with a third-party application that uses ODBC to connect to, and alter, a database. During certain failure modes, the end-results are not what I expect. To understand it better, I'd like some way of inspecting all the statements sent to the database. Is there a way to do this with ODBC? I know with JDBC I could use http://www.p6spy.com/ to see all statements sent, for example when debugging hibernate. p6spy is a "proxy" driver that records commands sent and forwards them on to the real JDBC driver. Another possibility might be a protocol sniffer that would capture statements over the wire. Although, I'm unsure if ODBC includes a standard wire protocol, or only specifieds the API. Does anyone know of existing tools that would allow me to do either of these things? Alternatively, is there another approach I could take?

The code below is working however it loads the family into revit, and then you have to manually drag it from the familys tree or insert using the relevant family tool.   Ok so my new gig is high performance video (think Google streetview but movies) - the hard work is all embedded capture and image processing but: I was looking at the new MS video offerings to display content = Windows Media Foundation. Is anyone actually using this ? There are no books on the topic. The only documentation is a developer team blog with a single entry 9 months old. I thought we had got past having to learn an MS api by spying on the com control messages! Is it just another wrapper around the same old activeX control?

• C++ Project compiles as static lib, fails (linker error) as dynamic lib. why??

  Hi All. I've a VS2008 native C++ project, that I wish to compile as a DLL. It only references one external library (log4cplus.lib), and uses its functions. (also uses log4cplus's .h files , naturally). When I try to compile my project as a static library, it succeeeds. When I try as DLL, it fails : 1>MessageWriter.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "public: static class log4cplus::Logger __cdecl log4cplus::Logger::getInstance(class std::basic_string<wchar_t,struct std::char_traits<wchar_t>,class std::allocator<wchar_t> > const &)" (?getInstance@Logger@log4cplus@@SA?AV12@ABV?$basic_string@_WU?$char_traits@_W@std@@V?$allocator@_W@2@@std@@@Z) referenced in function "class log4cplus::Logger __cdecl Log(void)" (?Log@@YA?AVLogger@log4cplus@@XZ) There are 4 more errors just like this related to functions within log4cplus.lib. • Android - Using Camera Intent but not updating correctly?

  Hello - I am using an intent to capture a picture: Intent i = new Intent(android.provider.MediaStore.ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE); i.putExtra(android.provider.MediaStore.EXTRA_OUTPUT, Uri.fromFile(new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory(), "test.jpg"))); startActivityForResult(i, 2); And then once taken I do the following: sendBroadcast(new Intent(Intent.ACTION_MEDIA_MOUNTED, Uri.parse("file://" + Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory()))); launchGallery(); While the above seems to work the first time without issue, whenever I run through a second time (so test.jpg already exists) the image actually saves correctly to /sdcard/ but I am finding that the thumbnail does not update and when the gallery loads it shows the previous test.jpg image! I was under the impression that sendBroadcast should update the thumbnails, but it doesn't appear to be.. Is there some other way to go about this and ensure when I call my launchGallery(); method the most recent image I just took appears? Thanks!

• Save a camera photo with an overlayed image - iphone SDK

  I think this should be simple but I am having some difficulty implementing it. I take a photo from the camera, the user can then move and scale it. They then choose "use" and they get a preview of their image. Now what I want to do is overlay an image on top of this preview image - which is also ok. But the part I am having difficulty is then I want to save the photo taken WITH the image that is over it into the library. I just have a UIView with my overlay image about the UIView where my camera photo is previewed. I guess I just need to take a screen capture of these? I don't want to loose resolution OR end up with my UI buttons etc in the final image. Any suggestions or links would be really useful. Thanks :-)

  Hello everyone, I am preparing for my senior thesis presentation. I'd like to back myself up in case there is no internet connection available. Therefore I want to record a video showing the functionality of my software. I have tried Camtasia but all the smooth and slick animations I've created, do not look that appealing. Once all approvals are completed the data shall be permanantly persisted into the actual table. Example: 1) Consider an entity called "User". One way to create the user is through the "Create Account Process". 2) The "Create Account Process" shall capture all the information of the User and store it in a temporary table in the database. 3) The data shall be used by the "Account Approval Process" to run its verification process. 4. After all the verification is completed successfully, the User data shall be persisted to the actual table. Question: Where to store the user data entered during "Create Account Process". Additionally, User data should be editable till the verification process is complete.

  I have an application that allows martial arts trickers to 'battle' each other by initiating challenges and submitting videos and whatnot. When user A challenges user B, the application posts to the user's wall (the one who initiated the challenge). My question is how do I tag user B in the wall post? It essentially says "challenged John Do to a battle". I'd like "John Do" to link to his profile just like when you manually post something on your wall and use the @ symbol. I hope this makes sense. I've tried standard html for a link, and I've tried FBML. Neither are parsed and only render as plain text on the wall post. Thanks for any help!

I am registering all users to a URL which allows them to buy the document. The URL which can only be accessed by a registered user with a verified email ids using django-registration, allows the user to connect to paypal and make payment.   I am trying to work with several projects on visual studio 2005. I have one project that depends on two others. I have included those two project in the first project solution, and set the dependencies correctly.
