Old = http://www.domain.com/dir/images/*.jpg New = http://www.domain.com/old_dir/images/*.jpg I am using the following RewriteRule, RewriteRule ^dir/images/(.*)\.jpg$ old_dir/images/$1\.jpg [R=301] Doesn't work, any pointers on how to get to work the images resolved correctly ?   • Problems with mod_rewrite and 301 redirects from one dynamic url to another

    Hey all, I'm having all kinds of problems with a bunch of apache redirects just now and could really use some help! I'm wating to put in a 301 redirect for a load of urls from a client's old site to their new site in the following format; Old - page.php?pageNum_rs_all=0&totalRows_rs_all=112 New - page/sub?foo=bar The values in the query sting for the old site don't in any way tie up to any ids or references on the new site, I only want to match that specific request and redirect to the new page. It feels like I've tried just about every combination of rewriterule I can find online but still nothing seems to be working. This is running on Apache 2.2. The rule I started with (and keep going back to) is; RewriteRule ^/page.php\?pageNum_rs_all=0&totalRows_rs_all=112 /page/sub?foo=bar [R=301,L,NE] Any help would be greatly appreciated! c.

    Ok, so I am using (or trying to use) two primary mod_rewrite rules, and they seem to be conflicting with one another RewriteRule ^/?help$ index.php?page=help [L] and RewriteRule ^/?([a-zA-Z0-9._-]+)$ index.php?user=$1 [L] If I get rid of the period -. in the second rule, my help page is displayed, and I can display a user page as well, but when I add the period, my help page doesn't display, but instead (I think) gets processed as a user page. Anyone have any pointers?

I'm not seeing how to do this one on the jquery tokeninput documentation. jQuery("#targ_state").tokenInput(host+"/forms/campaign_location.php?action=stateorprovince&cid="+country_id, { theme: "facebook", preventDuplicates: true, hintText: "Enter a State or Province...", placeholder: "Enter a State or Province..." }); If you'll look on this part of the code, I am passing the country_id that was generated above on the "onAdd".     Hi all My situation is. I have a project planned to be built on ASP.NET MVC 2. And one of the major requirements is SEO optimization. A customer wants to use static-like URLs that end up with .html extension for this project that make URLs more SEO friendly. E.g. "mysite.com/about.html " or "mysite.com/items/getitem/5.html" etc. I wonder is there any benefit from SEO perspective to use .html extension in dynamic URLs? Are Google and other search engines rank work better with such URLs?

  • Zend + Wamp = Cant use curl/fput for a url locally

    Ive got a page in Zend all set up that will for now just echo "Hello", this address is at http://dev.local/hello and works when visiting in the browser. However when I try to use curl or file_get_contents from a script in my zend 'public' folder I get a 500 Internal error message. UPDATE Its failing because my application tries to set the langauge based on the browsers default language, when using headers like I have below, how do I add this locale?     I am trying to build a small mvc-based application. How do I call a method in a class based on a query string? For example, the $_GET query string is being set as load_master_form http://www.domain.com/settings/load_master_form And to call the method within the settings class, I am doing: function __construct(){ $this->{$_GET['method']}(); } But obviously that doesn't work - it just isn't possible to load a method like that. So how would it be done?

    Hey all, i am checking for an internet connection by checking for a file on my server. The file only has the word LIVE displayed on the page. No HTML or anything else is there, just the word LIVE. When i run this code, i do get the NSLog as saying "LIVE" but once i go to check it with the IF statement, it fails and i just do not know why???   • Remove anchor from URL in C#

    I'm trying to pull in an src value from an XML document, and in one that I'm testing it with, the src is: <content src="content/Orwell - 1984 - 0451524934_split_2.html#calibre_chapter_2"/> That creates a problem when trying to open the file. I'm not sure what that #(stuff) suffix is called, so I had no luck searching for an answer. I'd just like a simple way to remove it if possible. I suppose I could write a function to search for a # and remove anything after, but that would break if the filename contained a # symbol (or can a file even have that symbol?) Thanks!

I'm running into a lot of problems with duplicate controller names, etc. Is there a simple way to do this? I looked briefly at Areas, but this seemed way to complicated.

Redirect to below: https://blogurl.com/content/news/2014-08-19/post-3451/mt-preview-33e2742af1eb.php I basically want to insert /content/ after https://blogurl.com and so far I have rewrite ^(.*)$ /content/ break; But my issue is my CMS sits on the same directory level https://blogurl.com/mt/admin and if I simply apply the rewrite above my CMS address would move too. How could I prevent this.
