• iPhone: Application Install Fails With "Invalid Signer" Error

  The iPhone is attached to a Mac runnning the latest iTunes version and I am 100% sure that her UDID is in the provisioning file. Her iPhone has not been jailbroken and we even restored it to factory settings. I am having trouble installing our development build on this one iPhone. The error is: the application "[Application Name]" was not installed on the iPhone "iPhone" because the signer is not valid I am 100% sure that the UDID is accurately entered in the provisioning file and that they correctly copied the right provision file/build combo. This same combo has been successfully installed on over a dozen iphones. We have been able to install this on some devices with no problems. Edit: From comments to an answer: We can install it on 100 iphone with our account. We have about 40 iphones in this provisioning profile and it works on 38 of them.

• Overwrite msg in mirth

  I have two destinations now and the first calls a SOAP webservice. I want to take the response of that destination by: msg = new XML(responseMap.get('Destination1').getMessage()); and convert it to a mutable XML object. Doing: logger.error(msg); <S:Body><PRPA_IN201306UV02> ... </PRPA_IN201306UV02></S:Body> Shows the valid msg as I want it, but when I do: msg['S:Body'] it returns nothing. Any suggestions would help.

  After uinstalling VS2012 and installing back Visual Studio 2010 C# Express I was getting strane warning: 2008 is not a valid number so I decided to reinstall VS2010, but I couldn't uinstall it. I was getting error: Suite Integration Toolkit Executable has stopped working. I managed to uinstall VS2010 with VS2010 Uinstall Tool, but now I want to install Visual Studio 2010 C# Express back. I'm getting Suite Integration Toolkit[...] error again when I try to install it using web installer. Could you help me resolve my problem? And I've got Tablet PC Components function disabled in Control Panel / Programs and Utilites.

• access violation in wglMakeCurrent

  Sometimes in my OpenGL application I get an access violation in the following API call: wglMakeCurrent(NULL, NULL); The application only has one single thread, and I've checked that before that call, both the DC and HGLRC that are currently used are correct and valid. There are three different windows with OpenGL content, and they're all redrawn on WM_PAINT messages and if a refresh is required due to user interaction (e.g., picking an object). Also this access violation happens on different machines with different graphic cards, so I don't think it's a driver issue. What could make this API call crash? What should I investigate in the app code to find out where/why this happens? I'm really lost here since I've checked everything I could think of already. I hope someone can give me hints/ideas on what more to check.

• Xcode warning: application executable contains unsupported architecture(s):arm, arm (-19031)

  Hi all. I've been receiving this warning since I loaded my project in last Xcode 4 preview. There was no warning before that but now I can't get rid of it even in Xcode 3.2. I've been googling but nobody seems to have the same error. My project and target settings are correct (IMHO): Architectures: Standard (armv6 armv7), Base SDK: Latest iOS (currently set to iOS 4.2), Build Active Architecture Only: FALSE, Valid Architectures: armv6 armv7. I compared every project setting with other projects and and found no differences. I even have recreated the project starting from scratch and copying classes, resources and frameworks with the same result. I must say that the warning is not shown when I set Debug configuration. I hope someone can help me because I don't know what to do. Thanks in advice.

  I have a checkboxlist of categories, during an update, I am trying to delete all the items in list from the associate table, then insert them all (so I don't have to determine if an item already exists in the associate table and only insert newly checked items). • soapUI - any way to automatically generate input data?

  I've just started looking at soapUI, and it seems to be a pretty good web service testing tool. It can automatically generate request SOAP messages with all the elements from the WSDL in there, no problem. However, what would be splendid is if it could automatically generate sample random input data, using the WSDL as a guide. For example, if my service is expecting a string, an enumeration, and a date-time, it seems like it wouldn't be too hard for the tool to generate one or more messages with valid values. Is such a feature available in soapUI, either natively or as a plug-in, or am I over-simplifying this?

• Silverlight 4 application failing to build in Blend 4 Beta..

  Hi, I'm creating a simple silverlight application using Silverlight 4 and Expression Blend 4 Beta, but when I run the Application I get the following Error: C:\Users\WebDevelop1\Documents\Expression\Blend 4 Beta\Projects\SilverlightApplication1\SilverlightApplication1.sln.metaproj : error MSB4126: The specified solution configuration "Debug|HPD" is invalid. Please specify a valid solution configuration using the Configuration and Platform properties (e.g. MSBuild.exe Solution.sln /p:Configuration=Debug /p:Platform="Any CPU") or leave those properties blank to use the default solution configuration. Done building project "SilverlightApplication1.sln" -- FAILED. Build failed. I'm relatively new to silverlight and not really sure where to start. This has happened with every project I have created in Blend, but when I run it in VS2010 it runs perfect. Is this a known issue with the Beta release or am I possibly missing something?   I'm trying to do some COM interop and attempting to invoke the INetCfgComponent::RaisePropertyUi method. I've gotten to the point where I can enumerate devices and get a valid INetCfgComponent for the adapter that I want to display the UI for. However, I'm a COM newbie (let alone COM interop) so I have no idea what the third argument in RaisePropertyUi() is meant to be. I've tried passing in the INetCfgComponent object that I have, but that just results in a InvalidCastException. MSDN has the following to say about the argument: Pointer to the IUnknown interface. RaisePropertyUi retrieves from IUnknown the interface of the context in which to display a network component's property sheet. RaisePropertyUi uses this interface to restrict the display of the property sheet to the context of a connection.

• Spring AOP Pointcut syntax for AND, OR and NOT

  I'm having trouble with a pointcut definition in Spring (version 2.5.6). I'm trying to intercept all method calls to a class, except for a given method (someMethod in the example below). <aop:config> <aop:advisor pointcut="execution(* x.y.z.ClassName.*(..)) AND NOT execution(* x.y.x.ClassName.someMethod(..))" /> </aop:config> However, the interceptor is invoked for someMethod as well. Then I tried this: <aop:config> <aop:advisor pointcut="execution(* x.y.z.ClassName.(* AND NOT someMethod)(..)) )" /> </aop:config> But this does not compile as it is not valid syntax (I get a BeanCreationException). Can anybody give any tips?

• Visual Studio 2008 maintenance mode - I can't remember my installation source drive letter!!!

  I've searched high and low for this and can't find the answer anywhere. I installed VS2008, but my drive letters are all mapped differently now, and of course I need to add a component to my current installation (VC++). But since I don't know which drive letter it was installed from, and since I don't want to try to figure it out the brute force way, I was hoping that someone here knew how to figure that out. I poked through HKCU and HKLM in the registry, hoping to find the info there, but couldn't. Does anyone know how to get this to work? Right now, I get the error "A selected drive is no longer valid. Please review your installation path settings before continuing with setup".

  I am running a centos 5 image on the vmware player and as of recently, I was able to check out from a repository that is no longer working. I am now getting: svn: Unknown hostname 'www.kennykong.com' It is a valid hostname and I know this because I have this svn location on Windows and I can browse/checkout no problem.   Hi guys, i recently got a prebuild application which uses MYOB odbc connection to myob file. the odbc connection works perfectly in that application i uses the same odbc connection string in other application but it failed to open in that application. the connection string is perfectly identical but it wont works the new application.   Is this valid C++ (e.g. not invoking UB) and does it achieve what I want without leaking memory? valgrinds complains about mismatching free and delete but says "no leaks are possible" in the end. int main() { int* a = new int[5]; for(int i = 0; i < 5; ++i) a[i] = i; for(int i = 0; i < 5; ++i) delete &a[i]; } The reason I'm asking: I have a class that uses boost::intrusive::list and I new every object that is added to that list. Sometimes I know how many objects I want to add to the list and was thinking about using new[] to allocate a chunk and still be able to delete every object on its own with the Disposer-style of boost::intrusive.

• How to do Selection Alignment using the RichTextBox in Silverlight 4?

  I cannot seem to figure out how to do a Selection Alignment in the new RichTextBox, I have an idea that I need to convert the selection into the Paragraph type which supports alignment, but cannot seem to figure this out. None of the Silverlight examples have this, but I'm sure it is possible. I have this code, that does not work - as I think I need the selection to be a Paragraph as it always returns and Exception "Value does not fall within the expected range".   I have PKCS#12 keystore that I've sucessfully imported in my browser for accessing a server that needs 2-way SSL authentication. Works perfectly reaching any https URL there. However, I'm unable to access an URL in the same server, and from the same host when using Axis 1.4. The given Axis faultString is: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target My javax.net.ssl.{keyStore,keyStorePassword,keyStoreType} properties seem to be set up fine. How can I solve this?

• Can I get the "value" of an arbitrary statement in JavaScript (like eval does, but without eval)

  In JavaScript is there a way to get the "value" of a statement in the same way that function() { return eval("if (true) { 1 }"); } returns "1"; function() { return if (true) { 1 } } and all similar permutations I've tried are not valid syntax. Is eval just blessed with special powers to determine the "last" value of a statement in an expression? Use case is a REPL that evaluates arbitrary expressions and returns the result. eval works, but I want to wrap it in function.

I can properly checkout from the repository using either the command line or the TortoiseCVS gui, so I think it is set up correctly. I'm trying to convert a working copy, not the repository itself I’m running Windows 7, 64-bit I’ve installed TortoiseHG and enabled the convert extension.

• Setting the value (selected option) of a dijit.form.Select widget

  I have a dijit.form.Select widget. It's tied to a data store, if that matters. It's filled with several options already. All I want to do is programmatically set its value. I can get its value using myWidget.attr('value') but if I try to do myWidget.attr('value', 5) for example (where 5 is one of the valid values), all it does is reset the widget to select the very first option, no matter what value I give it. This seems to be a bug, and there aren't any tests or documentation which show how to accomplish what I want to. But is there some way, even if it's a dirty hack? I'm using Dojo 1.4.0. Note that dijit.form.Select is the new name for dojox.form.DropDownSelect. edit: I even tried resetting the widget with all new options, but it ignores the option which has selected = true and just selects the first option. There must still be a way though.

  I am creating a rounded corner UIImageView, but this image is created inside a class, using among other instructions, these following: myImageView.layer.cornerRadius = 20.0; myImageView.layer.masksToBounds = YES; myImageView.layer.borderColor = [UIColor darkGrayColor].CGColor; myImageView.layer.borderWidth = 1.0; but Xcode is yelling at me telling me unknown 'cornerRadius' component of a property unknown 'masksToBounds' component of a property unknown 'borderColor' component of a property unknown 'borderWidth' component of a property I know this code is valid, because I have created images like that before, but never inside a class. Why is this happening? how to solve that? thanks.

• Forcing a mixed ISO-8859-1 and UTF-8 multi-line string into UTF-8

  Consider the following problem: A multi-line string $junk contains some lines which are encoded in UTF-8 and some in ISO-8859-1. I don't know a priori which lines are in which encoding, so heuristics will be needed. I want to turn $junk into pure UTF-8 with proper re-encoding of the ISO-8859-1 lines. Also, in the event of errors in the processing I want to provide a "best effort result" rather than throwing an error. My current attempt looks like this: $junk = &force_utf8($junk); sub force_utf8 { my $input = shift; my $output = ''; foreach my $line (split(/\n/, $input)) { if (utf8::valid($line)) { utf8::decode($line); } $output .= "$line\n"; } return $output; } While this appears to work I'm certain this is not the optimal solution.
