    Does anyone have any experience and/or tips wrt using Xcode to build winlib binaries on the Mac? As part of a Windows - Mac OS X crossplatform port i'm looking at an initial winelib port of the app before reworking the windowing to use Cocoa. None of the winelib tutorials ive seen so far mention anything other than command line builds using make files and winegcc, so Im wondering if its worth bothering at all trying to get an Xcode project built linking against winelib.

    Hi folks, I've built a web application with Django, I'm using Memcached in order to cache data. A few views cache the whole HttpResponse objects, therefore there might be a better alternative for returning the Memcached data other than going through Django. What could be faster alternatives for returning Memcached data on HTTP Requests ? I'm trying to make the operation as fast and lightweight as possible. Help would be much appreciated! :)

    I need to be able to merge two (very simple) JavaScript objects at runtime. For example I'd like to: var obj1 = { food: 'pizza', car: 'ford' } var obj2 = { animal: 'dog' } obj1.merge(obj2); //obj1 now has three properties: food, car, and animal Does anyone have a script for this or know of a built in way to do this?   • Automatic clicking on Link build with Javascript by using watin

    I am trying to be able to automate the process of clicking on links built in javascript using watin. In the source code of web page, the links look like href="#", so i think these links works with Javascript. Runscript doesn't work with a Javascript code like "link.click". When i use a "link.flash()" i can see the link flash so i'm sure the script click on the links but there is not effect ( and the script doens't crash ) . Have you any ideas for resolve this problem ?

    Hi I have a large index, on which Highlighter.Net works fine, but FastVectorHighlighter returns null as a Best Fragment on Some documents. the searcher works fine. It is just the highlighter. The field has been indexed in the same manner for all documents, so I fail to understand Why it highlights some documents but not all. Using Lucene.Net 2.9.2, built from trunk rev942061

    Hi, I have a product built out of multiple processes. Each process uses internally commons configuration. Does anyone have an idea how to manage the config? I.e. we do not want to duplicate variables so each process will be able to read them. Additionally, DB solution is no good, as we do not want to be dependent on DB for something like configuration.     Lets say I have an object that has stringProp1, stringProp2. I wish to store each combination of stringProp1, stringProp2 in a Dictionary. Initially I was storing the key as key = stringProp1+stringProp2 but this can actually cause a bug depending on the 2 values. Is the best solution for this problem to create a custom dictionary class or is there a better way using built-in .NET classes?
