  • Add Ubuntu to windows domain

    - by John Isaacks
    I am new to linux. I do not have any knowledge on how to do anything on linux. I just got a new machine and successfully installed ubuntu onto it. The first thing I want to do is join the domain the rest of the computers are on. How do I do that. I tried googling it but all the results assume some sort of linux knowledge and I have none.

  • Wifi channel interference

    - by artfulrobot
    In my neighbourhood there are: 11 wifi signals on channel 1 2 wifi signals on channel 4 (including mine at the mo) 8 on channel 6 6 on channel 11 According to the diagram on wikipedia Mine on channel 4 will suffer interference from channel 1 and channel 6, so a total of 20 other networks(!). So would I be better to join channel 11, even though my network is then in direct competition with the 6 others? I suppose the question is: what's worse: direct interference (meaning that on the same channel) from 6 or fringe interference from many more networks?

  • Can I set up an "involuntary" conference call with Freeswitch?

    - by Atilla Filiz
    I am trying to set up a SIP/RTP public announcement infrastructure. Basically there are several slave user agents that are configured to answer automatically, and a master UA which should be able to call all of them and make announcements. A way to work around seems creating a conference and making all UAs to join via some RPC mechanism but I don't want to go that direction unless I have to. The slave UAs are linphone and I haven't decided on the master agent yet.

  • NHibernate AssertException: Interceptor.OnPrepareStatement(SqlString) returned null or empty SqlString.

    - by jwynveen
    I am trying to switch a table from being a many-to-one mapping to being many-to-many with an intermediate mapping table. However, when I switched it over and tried to do a query on it with NHibernate, it's giving me this error: "Interceptor.OnPrepareStatement(SqlString) returned null or empty SqlString." My query was originally something more complex, but I switched it to a basic fetch all and I'm still having the problem: Session.QueryOver<T>().Future(); It would seem to either be a problem in my model mapping files or something in my database. Here are my model mappings: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="GBI.Core" namespace="GBI.Core.Models"> <class name="Market" table="gbi_Market"> <id name="Id" column="MarketId"> <generator class="identity" /> </id> <property name="Name" /> <property name="Url" /> <property name="Description" type="StringClob" /> <property name="Rating" /> <property name="RatingComment" /> <property name="RatingCommentedOn" /> <many-to-one name="RatingCommentedBy" column="RatingCommentedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <property name="ImageFilename" /> <property name="CreatedOn" /> <property name="ModifiedOn" /> <property name="IsDeleted" /> <many-to-one name="CreatedBy" column="CreatedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="ModifiedBy" column="ModifiedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <set name="Content" where="IsDeleted=0 and ParentContentId is NULL" order-by="Ordering asc, CreatedOn asc, Name asc" lazy="extra"> <key column="MarketId" /> <one-to-many class="MarketContent" /> </set> <set name="FastFacts" where="IsDeleted=0" order-by="Ordering asc, CreatedOn asc, Name asc" lazy="extra"> <key column="MarketId" /> <one-to-many class="MarketFastFact" /> </set> <set name="NewsItems" table="gbi_NewsItem_Market_Map" lazy="true"> <key column="MarketId" /> <many-to-many class="NewsItem" fetch="join" column="NewsItemId" where="IsDeleted=0"/> </set> <!--<set name="MarketUpdates" table="gbi_Market_MarketUpdate_Map" lazy="extra"> <key column="MarketId" /> <many-to-many class="MarketUpdate" fetch="join" column="MarketUpdateId" where="IsDeleted=0" order-by="CreatedOn desc" /> </set>--> <set name="Documents" table="gbi_Market_Document_Map" lazy="true"> <key column="MarketId" /> <many-to-many class="Document" fetch="join" column="DocumentId" where="IsDeleted=0"/> </set> </class> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="GBI.Core" namespace="GBI.Core.Models"> <class name="MarketUpdate" table="gbi_MarketUpdate"> <id name="Id" column="MarketUpdateId"> <generator class="identity" /> </id> <property name="Description" /> <property name="CreatedOn" /> <property name="ModifiedOn" /> <property name="IsDeleted" /> <!--<many-to-one name="Market" column="MarketId" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one>--> <set name="Comments" where="IsDeleted=0" order-by="CreatedOn desc" lazy="extra"> <key column="MarketUpdateId" /> <one-to-many class="MarketUpdateComment" /> </set> <many-to-one name="CreatedBy" column="CreatedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="ModifiedBy" column="ModifiedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> </class> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" assembly="GBI.Core" namespace="GBI.Core.Models"> <class name="MarketUpdateMarketMap" table="gbi_Market_MarketUpdate_Map"> <id name="Id" column="MarketUpdateMarketMapId"> <generator class="identity" /> </id> <property name="CreatedOn" /> <property name="ModifiedOn" /> <property name="IsDeleted" /> <many-to-one name="CreatedBy" column="CreatedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="ModifiedBy" column="ModifiedBy" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="MarketUpdate" column="MarketUpdateId" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> <many-to-one name="Market" column="MarketId" lazy="proxy"></many-to-one> </class> As I mentioned, MarketUpdate was originally a many-to-one with Market (MarketId column is still in there, but I'm ignoring it. Could this be a problem?). But I've added in the Market_MarketUpdate_Map table to make it a many-to-many. I'm running in circles trying to figure out what this could be. I couldn't find any reference to this error when searching. And it doesn't provide much detail. Using: NHibernate 2.2 .NET 4.0 SQL Server 2005

  • Table not Echoing out if another Table has a Zero value

    - by John
    Hello, The table below with mysql_query($sqlStr3) (the one with the word "Joined" in its row) does not echo if the result associated with mysql_query($sqlStr1) has a value of zero. This happens even if mysql_query($sqlStr3) returns a result. In other words, if a given loginid has an entry in the table "login", but not one in the table "submission", then the table associated with mysql_query($sqlStr3) does not echo. I don't understand why the "submission" table would have any effect on mysql_query($sqlStr3), since the $sqlStr3 only deals with another table, called "login", as seen below. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks in advance, John W. <?php echo '<div class="profilename">User Profile for </div>'; echo '<div class="profilename2">'.$profile.'</div>'; $tzFrom = new DateTimeZone('America/New_York'); $tzTo = new DateTimeZone('America/Phoenix'); $profile = mysql_real_escape_string($_GET['profile']); $sqlStr = "SELECT l.username, l.loginid, s.loginid, s.submissionid, s.title, s.url, s.datesubmitted, s.displayurl FROM submission AS s INNER JOIN login AS l ON s.loginid = l.loginid WHERE l.username = '$profile' ORDER BY s.datesubmitted DESC"; $result = mysql_query($sqlStr); $arr = array(); echo "<table class=\"samplesrec1\">"; while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { $dt = new DateTime($row["datesubmitted"], $tzFrom); $dt->setTimezone($tzTo); echo '<tr>'; echo '<td class="sitename3">'.$dt->format('F j, Y &\nb\sp &\nb\sp g:i a').'</a></td>'; echo '<td class="sitename1"><a href="http://www.'.$row["url"].'">'.$row["title"].'</a></td>'; echo '</tr>'; } echo "</table>"; $sqlStr1 = "SELECT l.username, l.loginid, s.loginid, s.submissionid, s.title, s.url, s.datesubmitted, s.displayurl, l.created, count(s.submissionid) countSubmissions FROM submission AS s INNER JOIN login AS l ON s.loginid = l.loginid WHERE l.username = '$profile'"; $result1 = mysql_query($sqlStr1); $arr1 = array(); echo "<table class=\"samplesrec2\">"; while ($row1 = mysql_fetch_array($result1)) { echo '<tr>'; echo '<td class="sitename5">Submissions: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;'.$row1["countSubmissions"].'</td>'; echo '</tr>'; } echo "</table>"; $sqlStr2 = "SELECT l.username, l.loginid, c.loginid, c.commentid, c.submissionid, c.comment, c.datecommented, l.created, count(c.commentid) countComments FROM comment AS c INNER JOIN login AS l ON c.loginid = l.loginid WHERE l.username = '$profile'"; $result2 = mysql_query($sqlStr2); $arr2 = array(); echo "<table class=\"samplesrec3\">"; while ($row2 = mysql_fetch_array($result2)) { echo '<tr>'; echo '<td class="sitename5">Comments: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;'.$row2["countComments"].'</td>'; echo '</tr>'; } echo "</table>"; $tzFrom3 = new DateTimeZone('America/New_York'); $tzTo3 = new DateTimeZone('America/Phoenix'); $sqlStr3 = "SELECT created, username FROM login WHERE username = '$profile'"; $result3 = mysql_query($sqlStr3); $arr3 = array(); echo "<table class=\"samplesrec4\">"; while ($row3 = mysql_fetch_array($result3)) { $dt3 = new DateTime($row3["created"], $tzFrom3); $dt3->setTimezone($tzTo3); echo '<tr>'; echo '<td class="sitename5">Joined: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;'.$dt->format('F j, Y').'</td>'; echo '</tr>'; } echo "</table>"; ?> </body> </html>

  • Symfony2 same form, different entities NOT related

    - by user1381537
    I'm trying to write one form for submitting against MySQL DB, but I can't get it working, I've tried a lot of things (separate forms, create an ->add('foo', new foo()) to a field, and trying to parse plain SQL with a normal HTML form is my only solution, which is obviously not the best. This is my DB structure: As you can see I need to insert the comments textarea to ticketcomments among the user who wrote it, etc. On crmentity the description field. Then on ticketcf the fields that I need to submit from form, are this (because you wont know if I don't tell you because of the field names): tcf.cf594 AS Type, tcf.cf675 AS Suscription, tcf.cf770 AS ID_PRODUCT, tcf.cf746 AS NotificationDate, tcf.cf747 AS ResponseDate, tcf.cf748 AS ResolutionDate, And, of course, every table needs to have the same ticketid id for the submitted form, so we can retrieve it with one simple query. It will be easy to do with plain SQL instead of using DQL and Symfony2 forms, but is not a good way to do it. Also, here's my "Ticket list" query, if you need it to have it more clear... SELECT t.ticketNo AS Ticket, t.title AS Asunto, t.status AS Estado, t.updateLog AS LOG, t.hours AS Horas, t.solution AS Solucion, t.priority AS Prioridad, tcf.cf594 AS Tipo, tcf.cf675 AS Suscripcion, tcf.cf770 AS IDPROD, tcf.cf746 AS F_Noti, tcf.cf747 AS F_Resp, tcf.cf748 AS F_Reso, CONCAT (cd.firstname, cd.lastname) AS Contacto, crm.description AS Descripcion, crm.crmid AS id FROM WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerTroubletickets t INNER JOIN WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerTicketcf tcf WITH t.ticketid = tcf.ticketid INNER JOIN WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerContactdetails cd WITH t.parentId = cd.contactid INNER JOIN WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerCrmentity crm WITH t.ticketid = crm.crmid WHERE t.parentId IN ( SELECT cd1.contactid FROM WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerContactdetails cd1 WHERE cd1.accountid = ( SELECT cd2.accountid FROM WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerContactdetails cd2 WHERE cd2.contactid = :contactid)) AND t.status <> \'Closed\' And also "Ticket details" query (which is not in DQL format yet, only SQL) is so simple, it only retrieve the comments field and createdtime from ticketcomments appended to this query so we have all the fields... Thank you. This is a test form, using troubletickets and ticketcomments, it's returning errores because I can't set a comments field because troubletickets doesn't has it, but I need that field to be submitted to ticketcomments ... VtigerTicketcommentsType <?php namespace WbsGo\clientsBundle\Form\Type; use Symfony\Component\Form\AbstractType, Symfony\Component\Form\FormBuilderInterface; use Symfony\Component\OptionsResolver\OptionsResolverInterface; class VtigerTicketcommentsType extends AbstractType { public function buildForm(FormBuilderInterface $builder, array $options) { $builder ->add('ticketid') ->add('comments') ->add('ownerid') ->add('ownertype') ->add('createdtype') ; } public function setDefaultOptions(OptionsResolverInterface $resolver) { $resolver->setDefaults(array( 'data_class' => 'WbsGo\clientsBundle\Entity\VtigerTicketcomments' )); } public function getName() { return 'comments'; } } OpenTicketType.php <?php namespace WbsGo\clientsBundle\Form; use Symfony\Component\Form\AbstractType, Symfony\Component\Form\FormBuilderInterface ; use WbsGo\clientsBundle\Form\Type\VtigerTicketcommentsType; use Symfony\Component\OptionsResolver\OptionsResolverInterface; class OpenTicketType extends AbstractType { public function buildForm(FormBuilderInterface $builder, array $options) { $builder ->add('title') ->add('priority') ->add('solution') ->add('comments', 'collection', array( 'type' => new VtigerTicketcommentsType() )) ; } public function setDefaultOptions(OptionsResolverInterface $resolver) { $resolver->setDefaults(array( 'data_class' => 'WbsGo\clientsBundle\Entity\VtigerTroubletickets' )); } public function getName() { return 'ticket'; } } TicketController.php <?php namespace WbsGo\clientsBundle\Controller; use Symfony\Bundle\FrameworkBundle\Controller\Controller; use WbsGo\clientsBundle\Entity\VtigerTroubletickets; use WbsGo\clientsBundle\Entity\VtigerTicketcomments; use WbsGo\clientsBundle\Form\OpenTicketType; use Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Request; class TicketController extends Controller { public function indexAction() { $em = $this->getDoctrine()->getManager(); $tickets = $em ->getRepository('WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerTroubletickets') ->findAllOpenByCustomerId($this->getUser()->getId()); $userdata = $this->getDoctrine()->getManager() ->getRepository('WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerContactdetails') ->findContact($this->getUser()->getId()); return $this ->render('WbsGoclientsBundle:Ticket:index.html.twig', array('tickets' => $tickets, 'userdata' => $userdata)); } public function addAction() { $assets = $this->getDoctrine()->getManager() ->getRepository('WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerAssets') ->findAssetByAccountId($this->getUser()->getId()); $assetlist = array(); foreach ($assets as $key => $v) { $assetlist[$key] = $key; } $form = $this->createForm(new OpenTicketType(), new VtigerTroubletickets()); return $this ->render('WbsGoclientsBundle:Ticket:add.html.twig', array('form' => $form->createView(), 'assets' => $assets,)); } } This is the error Symfony2 is returning Neither the property "comments" nor one of the methods "getComments()", "isComments()", "hasComments()", "_get()" or "_call()" exist and have public access in class "WbsGo\clientsBundle\Entity\VtigerTroubletickets". EDIT 2 This code is actually rendering my forms, but I need help in order to submit each XXXType form to its corresponding table. public function buildForm(FormBuilderInterface $builder, array $options) { $builder ->add('descripcion') ->add('prioridad') ->add('solucion') ->add('comment', new VtigerTicketcommentsType() ) ->add('contacto') ->add('suscripcion') ->add('producto', 'entity', array( 'class' => 'WbsGo\clientsBundle\Entity\VtigerAssets', 'property' => 'assetname', 'empty_value' => '--SELECT--', 'query_builder' => function(\WbsGo\clientsBundle\Entity\VtigerAssetsRepository $repository) { //return $repository->findAssetByAccountId($this->customerId); return $repository->createQueryBuilder('a') ->select('a') ->where('a.account = (SELECT cd.accountid FROM WbsGoclientsBundle:VtigerContactdetails cd WHERE cd.contactid = ?1)') ->setParameter(1, $this->customerId); } ) ) ->add('hardware') ->add('backup') ->add('web') ->add('restore') ->add('customerId') ; } I also removed ->add('ticketid') from VtigerTicketcommentsType.php because it has relationship and is not needed. it's auto_incremental and must be generated once everything is submitted.

  • How To Delete Top 100 Rows From SQL Server Tables

    - by Gopinath
    If you want to delete top 100/n records from an SQL Server table, it is very easy with the following query: DELETE FROM MyTable WHERE PK_Column IN(     SELECT TOP 100 PK_Column     FROM MyTable     ORDER BY creation    ) Why Would You Require To Delete Top 100 Records? I often delete a top n records of a table when number of rows in the are too huge. Lets say if I’ve 1000000000 records in a table, deleting 10000 rows at a time in a loop is faster than trying to delete all the 1000000000  at a time. What ever may be reason, if you ever come across a requirement of deleting a bunch of rows at a time, this query will be helpful to you. • XNA Notes 009

    - by George Clingerman
    This past week the MVPs (myself included) were on Microsoft campus for the MVP summit. So I apologize in advance if you did something cool or heard of something cool happening with XNA and XBLIGs and it’s not in my notes. I did my best to stay on top of things, but honestly this community is fast and furious with what it’s doing and creating. I really can’t keep up and that’s fantastic! But here’s what I *did* notice while I was there on Microsoft Campus (and I did make sure to point out to the XNA team several of these very cool happenings while I had their ears). • Gizmodo Made No Money On Their iPhone 4G Scoop Blog Posts

    - by Gopinath
    Amit Agarwal of Labnol reported couple of days ago that Gizmodo would have made $150,000 from the iPhone 4G scoop that revealed  all the secrets about iPhone 4G. But the reality seems to be entirely different. Gawker Media owner Nick Denton says that "There were no immediate revenue benefits whatsoever — in fact, only costs,"(via businessinsider) Gizmodo paid $5,000 to get hold of iPhone 4G which was lost by an Apple Engineer at a bar after his birthday party. Plus an additional amount of $7000 is spent on keeping the servers up to server 23 page views attracted by the iPhone 4G blog posts. Irrespective of whether Gizmodo made profits or not, they got huge publicity. But at the same time Apple should be very angry with Gizmodo for derailing it’s planned unveiling of the product. We have to wait and see what action Apple is going to take against Gizmodo. Join us on Facebook to read all our stories right inside your Facebook news feed.

  • SQL SERVER – Enumerations in Relational Database – Best Practice

    - by pinaldave
    Marko Parkkola This article has been submitted by Marko Parkkola, Data systems designer at Saarionen Oy, Finland. Marko is excellent developer and always thinking at next level. You can read his earlier comment which created very interesting discussion here: SQL SERVER- IF EXISTS(Select null from table) vs IF EXISTS(Select 1 from table). I must express my special thanks to Marko for sending this best practice for Enumerations in Relational Database. He has really wrote excellent piece here and welcome comments here. Enumerations in Relational Database This is a subject which is very basic thing in relational databases but often not very well understood and sometimes badly implemented. There are of course many ways to do this but I concentrate only two cases, one which is “the right way” and one which is definitely wrong way. The concept Let’s say we have table Person in our database. Person has properties/fields like Firstname, Lastname, Birthday and so on. Then there’s a field that tells person’s marital status and let’s name it the same way; MaritalStatus. Now MaritalStatus is an enumeration. In C# I would definitely make it an enumeration with values likes Single, InRelationship, Married, Divorced. Now here comes the problem, SQL doesn’t have enumerations. The wrong way This is, in my opinion, absolutely the wrong way to do this. It has one upside though; you’ll see the enumeration’s description instantly when you do simple SELECT query and you don’t have to deal with mysterious values. There’s plenty of downsides too and one would be database fragmentation. Consider this (I’ve left all indexes and constraints out of the query on purpose). CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Person] ( [Firstname] NVARCHAR(100), [Lastname] NVARCHAR(100), [Birthday] datetime, [MaritalStatus] NVARCHAR(10) ) You have nvarchar(20) field in the table that tells the marital status. Obvious problem with this is that what if you create a new value which doesn’t fit into 20 characters? You’ll have to come and alter the table. There are other problems also but I’ll leave those for the reader to think about. The correct way Here’s how I’ve done this in many projects. This model still has one problem but it can be alleviated in the application layer or with CHECK constraints if you like. First I will create a namespace table which tells the name of the enumeration. I will add one row to it too. I’ll write all the indexes and constraints here too. CREATE TABLE [CodeNamespace] ( [Id] INT IDENTITY(1, 1), [Name] NVARCHAR(100) NOT NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_CodeNamespace] PRIMARY KEY ([Id]), CONSTRAINT [IXQ_CodeNamespace_Name] UNIQUE NONCLUSTERED ([Name]) ) GO INSERT INTO [CodeNamespace] SELECT 'MaritalStatus' GO Then I create a table that holds the actual values and which reference to namespace table in order to group the values under different namespaces. I’ll add couple of rows here too. CREATE TABLE [CodeValue] ( [CodeNamespaceId] INT NOT NULL, [Value] INT NOT NULL, [Description] NVARCHAR(100) NOT NULL, [OrderBy] INT, CONSTRAINT [PK_CodeValue] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ([CodeNamespaceId], [Value]), CONSTRAINT [FK_CodeValue_CodeNamespace] FOREIGN KEY ([CodeNamespaceId]) REFERENCES [CodeNamespace] ([Id]) ) GO -- 1 is the 'MaritalStatus' namespace INSERT INTO [CodeValue] SELECT 1, 1, 'Single', 1 INSERT INTO [CodeValue] SELECT 1, 2, 'In relationship', 2 INSERT INTO [CodeValue] SELECT 1, 3, 'Married', 3 INSERT INTO [CodeValue] SELECT 1, 4, 'Divorced', 4 GO Now there’s four columns in CodeValue table. CodeNamespaceId tells under which namespace values belongs to. Value tells the enumeration value which is used in Person table (I’ll show how this is done below). Description tells what the value means. You can use this, for example, column in UI’s combo box. OrderBy tells if the values needs to be ordered in some way when displayed in the UI. And here’s the Person table again now with correct columns. I’ll add one row here to show how enumerations are to be used. CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Person] ( [Firstname] NVARCHAR(100), [Lastname] NVARCHAR(100), [Birthday] datetime, [MaritalStatus] INT ) GO INSERT INTO [Person] SELECT 'Marko', 'Parkkola', '1977-03-04', 3 GO Now I said earlier that there is one problem with this. MaritalStatus column doesn’t have any database enforced relationship to the CodeValue table so you can enter any value you like into this field. I’ve solved this problem in the application layer by selecting all the values from the CodeValue table and put them into a combobox / dropdownlist (with Value field as value and Description as text) so the end user can’t enter any illegal values; and of course I’ll check the entered value in data access layer also. I said in the “The wrong way” section that there is one benefit to it. In fact, you can have the same benefit here by using a simple view, which I schema bound so you can even index it if you like. CREATE VIEW [dbo].[Person_v] WITH SCHEMABINDING AS SELECT p.[Firstname], p.[Lastname], p.[BirthDay], c.[Description] MaritalStatus FROM [dbo].[Person] p JOIN [dbo].[CodeValue] c ON p.[MaritalStatus] = c.[Value] JOIN [dbo].[CodeNamespace] n ON n.[Id] = c.[CodeNamespaceId] AND n.[Name] = 'MaritalStatus' GO -- Select from View SELECT * FROM [dbo].[Person_v] GO This is excellent write up byMarko Parkkola. Do you have this kind of design setup at your organization? Let us know your opinion. Google is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man with a playable Pac Man game doodle on it’s home page. You can play the full game(255 levels) at http://google.com. This is the first time ever Google released an interactive doodle. How To Embed the Pac Man Game In Your Web Pages? I’m surprised to see this game being a non-flash version and it seems to be a pure javascript + html script. Michael at RustyBricks.com published an unofficial way of embedding Google’s Pac Man game in any website along with a link to demo page. • SQL SERVER – Get Latest SQL Query for Sessions – DMV

    - by pinaldave
    In recent SQL Training I was asked, how can one figure out what was the last SQL Statement executed in sessions. The query for this is very simple. It uses two DMVs and created following quick script for the same. SELECT session_id, TEXT FROM sys.dm_exec_connections CROSS APPLY sys.dm_exec_sql_text(most_recent_sql_handle) AS ST While working with DMVs if you ever find any DMV has column with name sql_handle you can right away join that DMV with another DMV sys.dm_exec_sql_text and can get the text of the SQL statement.
