    I am having an issue where I need to be able to specify the password when I run my packages. This article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918760 says: Method 3: Set the SSIS Package ProtectionLevel property to EncryptSensitiveWithPassword Change the SSIS Package ProtectionLevel property to EncryptSensitiveWithPassword. This setting uses a password for encryption. You can then modify the SQL Server Agent job step command line to include this password. That all sounds well and good. But where and how to you specify the password?   • sed find pattern on line with another pattern

    I am trying to extract text from a file between a '<' and a '', but only on a line starting with another specific pattern. So in a file that looks like: XXX Something here XXX Something more here XXX <\Lines like this are a problem ZZZ something <\This is the text I need XXX Don't need any of this I would like to print only the "<\This is the text I need". If I do sed -n '/^ZZZ/p' FILENAME it pulls the correct lines I need to look at, but obviously prints the whole line. sed -n '/</,//p' FILENAME prints way too much. I have looked into grouping and tried sed -n '/^ZZZ/{/</,//} FILENAME but this doesn't seem to work at all. Any suggestions? They will be much appreciated. (Apologies for formatting, never posted on here before)

    I have created an application on Delphi 7. my app had running fine since yesterday. I don't know what's happened yesterday which cause my application halts on Application.Initialize line in source code and does not return to next line when i trace the program. I can't run the created executable file from widows niether while the generated file does run on another machine correctly. here is the code where the compiler stops on it: program Info_Kiosk; uses SysUtils, Forms, ... I run paste -d" " t.tex tE.tex | sed 's@$@XXX@' > tM.tex where the problem is in the use of the mark $ for the end of the line. I get #paste -d" " t.tex tE.tex | sed -e s/" "/\\\&/g | sed -r "s/XXX/" > tM.tex sed: -e expression #1, char 10: unterminated `s' command make: *** [all] Error 1 I have the command just after the "all:" tag in my makefile which contains only the two lines. The parameters -n and -e do not help here. The command works as expected run when it is run directly in terminal.

    Does log4J still gather the class, method and line numbers by generating exceptions and inspecting the stack trace? Or has Java been optimized since Sun included their own logging framework. If not, why has there not been any optimizations made since. What is the main challenges in obtaining class, method and line numbers quickly and efficiently? Although I hate annotations and try to avoid them, has log4J not made use of this, such as: @log4j-class MyClass @log4j-method currentMethodOne At least this would avoid some companies bad habit of repeatedly writing/copying the method name as the first part of their logging message (which is seriously annoying).     I have a file in the format: Port Number IP address Port Number IP address (Not sure how the output will be displayed here but let me tell you they are on separate lines) and so on.... I use the command grep -C 1 'port number' file.txt i.e. I want all IP addresses corresponding to a particular port. Making it simple, I want the next line matching a regular expression. Like if my regular expression matches line 2,4 and 6 then I want lines 3, 5 and 7 to be printed. How to do that?

    I can't seem to find anything on google telling me why this might be and what the resolution is. I'm Stepping through third party code (that I have the source for) and would really like to see the current line being executed... Looking at javac compile flags, I see the -g:none flag. If this flag is set, would this be enough to explain why I'm not able to see line numbers? If so, why would someone do this, are there performance implications? Do I need to recompile the jar myself to attach the missing debug info (if possible)? Thanks!

My code looks like this: while True: n = raw_input("'p' = pause, 'u' = unpause, 'p' = play 's' = stop, 'q' = quit) if n.strip() == 'p': mp3.pause() if n.strip() == 'u': mp3.unpause() if n.strip() == 'p': mp3.play() if n.strip() == 's': mp3.stop() if n.strip() == 'q': break But I want it to break if I input anything that isn't specified in the raw_input. if not raw_input: break Returns and IndentationError: unindent does not match any outer indentation level. if not raw_input: break Does not return any error but doesn't work as I want it to. As far as I know, it does nothing at all. Also, if there's a cleaner way to write my loop, I love to hear it.

    I have a fresh Ubuntu 12.04 installed on HP G72 machine. In order for my wireless to work I need the proprietary driver installed - Broadcom STA wireless driver. Trying to install it from the System Settings gives me the error: "Sorry, installation of this driver failed. Please have a look at the log file for details: /var/log/jockey.log". So far I suspect the error to be caused by the bad "bcmwl-kernel-source" installation.   • Java's Scanner class: using left- and right buttons with Bash

    I'm not too familiar with Linux/Bash, so I can't really find the right terms to search for. Take the snippet: public class Main { public static void main(String[] args) { java.util.Scanner keyboard = new java.util.Scanner(System.in); while(true) { System.out.print("$ "); String in = keyboard.nextLine(); if(in.equals("q")) break; System.out.println(" "+in); } } } If I run it on my Linux box using Bash, I can't use any of the arrow buttons (I'm only interested in the left- and right button, btw). For example, if I type "test" and then try to go back by pressing the left button, ^[[D appears instead of my cursor going back one place: $ test^[[D I've tried the newer Console class as well, but the end result is the same. On Windows' cmd.exe shell, I don't have this problem. So, the question is: is there a way to change my Java code so that I can use the arrow keys without Bash transforming them in sequences like ^[[D but actually move the cursor instead? I'm hoping that I can solve this on a "programming level". If this is not possible, then I guess I'd better try my luck on Superuser to see if there's something I need to change on my Bash console.     I have some command-line commands to execute on a Windows machine. The programs I need to run are only available on Windows. Is there a way to easily to do something like I would do with SSH? Example of what I mean: ssh [email protected] "remote command to execute" ...or do I have to Remote Desktop just to do this? (I'd like to run the commands programmatically from another computer rather than running them by hand.)
