• Ajax DragPanelExtender drag an item from one panel to another

  I have a panel called "ItemPot" and several panels called "ItemBank1", "ItemBank2" etc. Currently I have dynamically added 5 items to the pot and given each one a DragPanelExtender so that those items can be moved around within the panel, however what I wan't to be able to do is to move those items into the banks and then save there new parent ID ("itembank1") to the database using C#. Does anyone know of an easy way of doing that? I have looked around the internet and I have found loads of ways of doing similar things using JQuery or Mootools but I would rather not have to use Javascript if possible, I know that might be wishful thinking lol.

  Hi there, I have two PHP arrays like so: Array of X records containing the ID of Wordpress posts (in a particular order) Array of Wordpress posts The two arrays look something like this: Array One (Sorted Custom Array of Wordpress Post IDs) Array ( [0] => 54 [1] => 10 [2] => 4 ) Array Two (Wordpress Post Array) Array ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [ID] => 4 [post_author] => 1 ) [1] => stdClass Object ( [ID] => 54 [post_author] => 1 ) [2] => stdClass Object ( [ID] => 10 [post_author] => 1 ) ) I would like to sort the array of wordpress posts with the order of the ID's in the first array. • How to change the color of the navigation bar in more than one table view controller

  I am trying to figure out how to change the color of the table view navigation bar in multiple table views. The table views are all connected to a navigation controller. For example, I want one navigation bar to be blue, but another to be red. I have tried the code below in the AppDelegate.m file, but it just changes all the navigation bars to the same color. Is there anywhere else I could place this code to change the color in specific places. I've heard that I need to create new files, but I don't know where to place the code, or what code to use in the new files. I am somewhat new to this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated![[UINavigationBar appearance] setBarTintColor:[UIColor orangeColor]];

• How to program three editions Light, Pro, Ultimate in one solution

  I'd like to know how best to program three different editions of my C# ASP.NET 3.5 application in VS2008 Professional (which includes a web deployment project). I have a Light, Pro and Ultimate edition (or version) of my application. At the moment I've put all in one solution with three build versions in configuration manager and I use preprocessor directives all over the code (there are around 20 such constructs in some ten thousand lines of code, so it's overseeable): #if light //light code #endif #if pro //pro code #endif //etc... I've read in stackoverflow for hours and thought to encounter how e.g. Microsoft does this with its different Windows editions, but did not find what I expected. Somewhere there is a heavy discussion about if preprocessor directives are evil. What I like with those #if-directives is: the side-by-side code of differences, so I will understand the code for the different editions after six months and the special benefit to NOT give out compiled code of other versions to the customer. OK, long explication, repeated question: What's the best way to go?

  I have code that at one place ends up with a list of data frames which I really want to convert to a single big data frame. I got some pointers from an earlier question which was trying to do something similar but more complex. Here's an example of what I am starting with (this is grossly simplified for illustration): listOfDataFrames <- NULL for (i in 1:100) { listOfDataFrames[[i]] <- data.frame(a=sample(letters, 500, rep=T), b=rnorm(500), c=rnorm(500)) } I am currently using this: df <- do.call("rbind", listOfDataFrames) *EDIT* whoops.   Hello, I have a windows form that has a simple menu and performs a simple operation, I want to be able to create another windows form with all the functionality of a menu bar, message pump etc.. as a seperate process so I can then share the results of the operation to the second window. I.E. 1) Form A opens Form B opens as a separate process 2)Form A performs operation 3)Form A passes results via memory to Form B 4)Form B display results I'm confused as to how to go about it, the main app runs fine but i'm not sure how to add a second window if the first one already exists. • How to rebase one Git repository onto another one?

  Hi there! I had one Git repository (A) which contains the development of a project until a certain point. Then I lost the USB stick this repo A was on. Luckily I had a backup of the latest commit, so I could create a new repository (B) later where I imported the latest project's state and continue development. Now I recovered that lost USB stick, so I have two Git repositories. I think I just have to rebase repo B onto repo A somehow, but I have no idea how to do that, maybe using fetch/pull and rebase? • Drag a UIView from one UIScrollView to another

  I have two UIScrollViews on my screen and I need to be able to drag a UIView from one scrollview to the other. At the moment, I have a UILongGestureRecognizer on the UIView that I want to move, such that when the user starts dragging it, I make the view follow the touch: - (void)dragChild:(UILongPressGestureRecognizer *)longPress { [[longPress view] setCenter:[longPress locationInView:[[longPress view] superview]]]; } But when I get the boundary of the starting UIScrollView, the view disappears because it's locked into that scrollview's bounds. Is there a way to "pop" it out of the scrollview when I start dragging such that I can carry it over to the other scrollview? Also, how do I test for the "drop" location? I want to know if it's been dropped over a certain other view. Or am I going about this all the wrong way? Thanks guys

  Hi all! I've search for some clues on this problem without much success. Hope someone can kick me in the right direction. I am prototyping a couple of apps where I need to design my own GUI. The GUI is made up by two separated UIViews where one of them contains a small thumb of an image. I want to be able to drag this thumb from the first view to the other. Simple as that! But I haven't figured out how this is done. Here is the exact flow I am looking for: touch the thumb animate a small enlargement of the thumb drag the thumb to the other UIView drop the thumb animate a shrink of the thumb Not particularly strange, but the thumb remains related to the first view all the time. I've tried to move the thumb via the first views superview and then back to the second view, but with no luck.

I have one file needsOptimization.cpp where I would like to override the -O1 with -O2 instead. • Insert multiple rows into temp table with one command in SQL2005

  I've got some data in the following format: -1,-1,-1,-1,701,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1,304,390,403,435,438,439,442,455 I need to insert it into a temp table like this: CREATE TABLE #TEMP ( Node int ) So that I can use it in a comparison with data in another table. The data above represents separate rows of the "Node" column. Is there an easy way to insert this data, all in one command? Also, the data will actually being coming in as seen, as a string... so I need to be able to just concat it into the SQL query string. I can obviously modify it first if needed.

  Hi all, I have a database with three tables, a household table, an adults table and a users table. The Household table contains two foreign keys, iAdult1ID and iAdult2ID. The Users table has a iUserID primary key and the Adult table has a corresponding iUserID foreign key. One of the columns in the Users table is strUsername, an e-mail address. I am trying to write a query that will allow me to search for an e-mail address for either adult that has a relation to the household. So I have two questions, assuming that all the values are not null, how can I do this? And two, in reality, iAdult2ID can be null, is it still possible to write a query to do this?   I have a table that we'll call 'Sales' with 4 rows: uid, date, count and amount. I want to increment the count and amount values for one row with the count/amount values from a different row in that table. Example: UID | Date | Count | Amount| 1 | 2013-06-20 | 1 | 500 | 2 | 2013-06-24 | 2 | 1000 | Ideal results would be uid 2's count/amount values being incremented by uid 1's values: UID | Date | Count | Amount| 1 | 2013-06-20 | 1 | 500 | 2 | 2013-06-24 | 3 | 1500 | Please note that my company's database is an older version of MYSQL (3.something) so subqueries are not possible. I am curious to know if this is possible outside of doing an "update sales set count = count + 1" and likewise for the amount columns. I have a lot of rows to update and incrementing the values individually is quite time consuming if you can imagine. Thanks for any help or suggestions!

• One page of responsive site is blurry/fuzzy on iphone

  Here's a weird one. I'm developing a responsive site here: http://74.209.178.54:3000/index.html There are three pages built so far: the home page, the "Why" page, and the "Pricing" page. The Home and Why pages are just fine on my iPhone 4. The "Pricing" page is really blurry. And I don't just mean the images are blurry - absolutely everything is blurry: text, borders, backgrounds... Has anyone seen this before? Do you know what's happening?

  Usually, I work with branches in Git, but I don't like to see hundreds of branches in my working tree (Git history). I'm wondering if there is a method in Git to "join" all commits in a branch in only one commit (ideally with a clear commit message). Something like this: git checkout -b branch <some work> git commit -a -m "commit 1" <some work> git commit -a -m "commit 2" <some work> git commit -a -m "commit 3" git checkout master git SUPER-JOIN branch -m "super commit" After this, only "super commit" will exist in the git log.

  What's the cleanest way to constrain a SQL table to allow it to have no more than one row? This related question discusses why such a table might exist, but not how the constraint should be implemented. So far I have only found hacks involving a unique key column that is constrained to have a specific value, e.g. ALWAYS_0 TINYINT NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY DEFAULT (0) CONSTRAINT CHECK_ALWAYS_0 CHECK (ALWAYS_0 = 0). I am guessing there is probably a cleaner way to do it. The ideal solution would be portable SQL, but a solution specific to MS SQL Server or postgres would also be useful

I can copy them across using document.content.text but they come out as text (should've figured this i guess). I think i've got them selected by: Dim tDocFields As Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Fields tDocFields = tDocument.Content.Fields I'm then activating the doc i want to copy into and i think i need to then copy into that doc using the related word app. vDocument.Activate() vWord.Selection. ??? Insert() ??? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated... Am i on the right lines even?

  I've define a type: type Foo is record bar : Positive; end record; I want to create a function that returns an instance of the record: function get_foo return Foo is return (1); end get_foo; But Ada won't let me, saying "positional aggregate cannot have one argument". Stupidly trying, I've added another dumb field to the record, and then return (1, DOESNT_MATTER); works! How do I tell Ada that's not a positional aggregate, but an attempt to create a record?

• mod_rewrite: remove trailing slash (only one!)

  Hello. I use mod_rewrite/.htaccess for pretty URLs. I'm using this condition/rule to eliminate trailing slashes (or rather: rewrite to the non-trailing-slash-URL, by a 301 redirect; I'm doing this to avoid duplicate content and because I like URLs with no trailing slashes better): RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^\.localhost$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.+)/$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L] Working well so far. Only drawback: it also forwards "multiple-trailing-slash"-URLs to non-trailing-slash-URLs. Example: http://example.tld/foo/bar////// forwards to http://example.tld/foo/bar while I only want http://example.tld/foo/bar/ to forward to http://example.tld/foo/bar. So, is it possible to only eliminate trailing slashes if it's actually just one trailing slash? Sorry if this is a somewhat annoying or weird question! Thanks.

  This is a follow-up question for: Multiple Ruby modules under one directory What happens if these extensions include each other? For example, you have the following structure: ext/foo ext/bar In ext/bar/bar.h, you have a #include "foo.h" foo.h and foo.cpp compile to form foo.o, to make life a little more complicated. Finally, it is necessary that foo and bar be separate extensions. How is this managed? I can't figure out how to add ../foo to the search path for bar.h, primarily. Symbolic links seem hack-ish.
