    Hi all, I want to build an application using air. The application should load the flashlog file and display the contents after performing some text filtering. But when i load the application this clears my flashlog.txt though my file mode is READ. I can understand that running my air application clears the flashlog and prepares it for new logging. Is there a workaround for this. I dont want to open the flashlog file everytime and check for traces from my web application

  • Read from file in eclipse

    I'm trying to read from a text file to input data to my java program. However, eclipse continuosly gives me a Source not found error no matter where I put the file. I've made an additional sources folder in the project directory, the file in question is in both it and the bin file for the project and it still can't find it. I even put a copy of it on my desktop and tried pointing eclipse there when it asked me to browse for the source lookup path. No matter what I do it can't find the file. here's my code in case it's pertinent: System.out.println(System.getProperty("user.dir")); File file = new File("file.txt"); Scanner scanner = new Scanner(file); in addition, it says the user directory is the project directory and there is a copy there too.     I have an application on my server that is called leaf.exe, that haves two arguments needed to run, they are: inputfile and outputfile, that will be like this example: pnote.exe input.pnt output.txt The executable is at exec/, inputfile is at upload/ and outputfile is on compiled/. But I need that a PHP could run the application like that, then I want to know: How could I do this on a server that have exec() disabled and I can't turn it on, because I don't have privileges to do it? How could I echo the output of the program?

  • Ant: Create directory containing file if it doesn't already exist?

    Basically, I get a path like "C:\test\subfolder1\subfolder2\subfolder3\myfile.txt", but it's possible that subfolders 1-3 don't exist already, which means I'd get an exception if I try to write to the file. Is there a way to create the directory structure the target file is in, either by using some task that creates the structure when it outputs to the file and then deleting the file, or by parsing the directory part of the path and using the mkdir task first?     I have done this in all my previous versions, but I can't get it working in CS4. I have updated the MMDocumentTypes.xml file to add inc to the php section. Restarting Dreamweaver does not help. I even updated the Extensions.txt file, and that still does not work. Has anyone had this issue?

    Hi, I run this snippet twice, in the ubuntu terminal, (encoding set to utf-8) once with ./test.py and then with ./test.py >out.txt: uni = u"\u001A\u0BC3\u1451\U0001D10C" print uni Without redirection it prints garbage. With redirection I get a UnicodeDecodeError. Can someone explain why I get the error only in the second case, or even better give a detailed explanation of what's going on behind the curtain in both cases?

But what I want to do is use netsh interface ip set address name="Local Area Connection 2" source=static addr=[WHAT DO I PUT HERE] Also, a way to make the command prompt not flash would be nice too :)

Now the problem is people can muck around with the qurystring in order to read local files on the server. I dont wnat this.     First, Python Newbie; be patient/kind. Next, once a month I receive a large text file (think 7 Million records) to test for duplicate values. This is catalog information. I get 7 fields, but the two I'm interested in are a supplier code and a full orderable part number. To determine if the record is dupliacted, I compress all special characters from the part number (except . and #) and create a compressed part number. The test for duplicates becomes the supplier code and compressed part number combination. This part is fairly straight forward. Currently, I am just copying the original file with 2 new columns (compressed part and duplicate indicator). If the part is a duplicate, I put a "YES" in the last field. Now that this is done, I want to be able to go back (or better yet, at the same time) to get the previous record where there was a supplier code/compressed part number match.
