  • Get averages from pre-aggregated reports in mongodb

    I've got a database with pre-aggregated metrics similar to the one outlined in this use case: http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/use-cases/pre-aggregated-reports/ I have a daily collection with a subdocument for hour and minute metrics, and a 'metadata.date' entry for midnight on the day it represents. I also have a monthly collection with a day subdocument for each day. If I want to get an average of a metric over the past eight or so days how can I do that with the aggregation framework? Is the aggregation framework not the right tool for this since it's already pre-aggregated?

  • SSAS Reporting Services - Set specific language / translation

    Hi all, in the data warehouse there's a default language for the measures, and I added a translation for German captions. In a Visual Studio Report Server project, when creating a query with my German OS, the cube and its measures are displayed in German language. When dragging measures to the mdx query windows, the default measure name is used. That's what I want and what I expect, since when writing MDX queries I would like to use the default measure names. But when executing the query, the columns created for each measure is translated to German again. This resuls in having German columns names within my dataset, which I dont want. I'd like to have the english column names. I already tried to change the connection string to: Data Source=server;Initial Catalog=DataWarehouse;LocaleIdentifier=1033 But that doesn't help, I still see German translations. Anyone knows how to set a specific translation?

  • Is there a nice way of having static generic parameters is Java?

    Hello, recently I'm writing some functions that I take from Haskell and translate into Java. One of the main problems I have is I cannot easily create a static property with a generic type. Let me explain by a little example... // An interface to implement functions public interface Func<P, R> { public R apply(P p); } // What I want to do...   • Functioning of Intent.action_pick_activity??

    Hello everybody!! Here is I would like to set up in my application, the function of sharing (facebook, twitter, e-mail) as that of YouTube for example but I get lost little. By looking I saw that apparently it would be necessary to use Intent.action_pick_activity but I do not manage to see how using it on my case.     I am trying to create a UIImageView called theImageView in the touchesBegan method that I can then then move to a new location in touchesMoved. Currently I am receiving an "undeclared" error in touchesMoved where I set the new location for theImageView.   • gprof and execl() - is it possible?

    Background: I have a game (an old-school-esque MUD) which I've been attempting to profile with gprof. The documentation of gprof (on Linux 2.6) states that The profiled program must call "exit"(2) or return normally for the profiling information to be saved in the gmon.out file. Now, if I kill the server with the shutdown command, the application "returns normally" (i.e., main() returns) and I get a gmon.out to analyze. However, it's far more common to reboot the server. The reboot command does the following: Writes usernames and socket FD numbers to disc. Makes a call to execl(). The new process looks for the stored data, picks up the FDs, and moves on. I see the following error on the command line, as the whole process fails: Profiling timer expired ./program Question: Is it possible to get a gmon.out file from the execl()-calling process? Perhaps some environmental parameter to execl(), or else perhaps a different, gprof-friendly, system call to achieve the same effect (beginning a new process while preserving file descriptors)?

  • How to generate a PDF of dynamic HTML content?

    I am trying to be able to allow users to generate content dynamically, and have that information be in a , and then allow that specific to be exportable to a pdf. I have got Joomla up and running (with the appropriate mySQL and ANT) locally with the Web2PDF extension, but how would I get those running on my domain (hosted by Dreamhost). Are there any other approaches you might recommend. The content is generated by JS and JQuery, and formatted with CSS and HTML. Other considerations: Web2PDF generates a PDF on the entire content, (pulling the entire page's HTML, not just the specific <div>.

  • IE div width + scrollbar

    I have a modal UI in my web app that necessitates a fixed layout design. After much fussing, I decided absolutely positioned child elements was the way to go. However, I have one div that conditionally requires a vertical scrollbar (if there's too much content). When this scrollbar is added, the width of the div seems to vary between IE 7 and IE 8. IE8 standards mode: IE7 standards mode: I haven't even tested for IE 6, but I'm sure it's even funkier. What's the simplest, least painful way to address this to arrive at a consistent UI in all major browsers?

  • reStructuredText for SQL?

    I am trying to use DocUtils and reStructuredText to comment SQL code. I can get this to work when I include the markup inside multi-line comments. I then use --Some text:: to introduce each block of code. I cannot get internal hyperlinks to work. I would like to write -- .. Step1_: but the parser ignores this because of the leading comment. Using a multi-line style also fails. Is there a way to get this to work?   • VHDL Simulation Timing Behaviour

    I'm trying to write some VHDL code that simply feeds sequential bits from a std_logic_vector into a model of an FSM. However, the bits don't seem to be updating correctly. To try figure out the issue, I have the following code, where instead of getting a bit out of a vector, I'm just toggling the signal x (the same place I'd be getting a bit out). clk <= NOT clk after 10 ns; process(clk) begin if count = 8 then assert false report "Simulation ended" severity failure; elsif (clk = '1') then x <= test1(count); count <= count + 1; end if; end process; EDIT: It appears I was confused.I've put it back to trying to take bit by bit out of the vector. This is the output. I would have thought that on when count is 1, x would take on the value of test1(1) which is a 1.

This is what i have in my controller, as an example function checkKeyExists($userid, $key){ } Then inside my view i have the following if(checkKeyExists($row->id, $role->key)){ } But when i run it, it says that checkKeyExists is not defined.   • jquery .find to get the text in a <li>

    So I have a series of 2 nested ul's. When you click on the text (which is in an a tag) in the li, my page makes that editable and adds a save button. clicking the save button needs to give me back the new text inside that li and the id of that li. The id is not a problem. I'm trying to use jQuery's .find to select that anchor tag (which is successful) but i can't seem to get the text from it.   • .htaccess file on localhost throwing an error when using a Virtual Host config on my Localhost!!

    I am trying to set-up my localhost development server. I have everything working but when I try to add an .htaccess it throws this error: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. I dont know exactly why this is, this is pretty much the exact same setup as the other developers machine, but when using my .htaccess file I get that error.   • Issue with Z-Index and IE7

    I've browsed on the board and tried and bunch of these solutions and I'm still stuck. The page I'm looking at is here. In IE7, the drop downs are showing up behind the homepage content. And if you go to one of the site sections, by clicking on "Menus", they even show up behind the dynamically created side-bar. I've given the drop down a z-index of 1000 and relative positioning. On the homepage, the images have relative positioning and a small z-index (1 or 2). Any ideas?

  • PHP attempting to make JavaScript friendly timestamp, failing, returns 1.34899651119E+12

    Well, not sure whats going on. I have been trying to follow by examples I have found here on stack, on google, even an answer someone gave me a week+ ago, which unfortunately I wasn't able to test until today. Anyway I am attempting to generate a javascript friendly timestamp via php so I can get my times synced up. The best logic I could find overall was something dealing with microtime. However that doesn't seem to work as expected, not even in the slightest. Right now I am using microtime(true)*1000; and am getting 1.34899651119E+12 for the result. Did I some how manage to mess up that one tiny line of code, Im not sure.
