• DLL with JNA error looking up function?

  This is the code in my DLL (C#): http://pastebin.com/Uirn0z2V I have the DLL built and inside both the JDK bin folder along with inside my project.   I'm using python 2.7.2 on mac os 10.7.3 I'm doing a recursive algorithm in python with more than 50 000 recursion levels. I tried to increase the maximum recursion level to 1 000 000 but my python shell still exit after 18 000 recursion levels. I tried to increase the resources available : import resource resource.setrlimit(resource.RLIMIT_STACK, (2**29,-1)) sys.setrecursionlimit(10**6) and I get this error : Traceback (most recent call last): File "<pyshell#58>", line 1, in <module> resource.setrlimit(resource.RLIMIT_STACK,(2**29,-1)) ValueError: not allowed to raise maximum limit I don't know why I cannot raise the maximum limit ? thanks for your suggestions .

• iPhone - finding items in current entity that share related item

  G'day Folks My core data driven app has an Events entity, essentially a list of times & venues, with a related Acts entity, the names & bios of the acts appearing at those events. I have a table view that shows the event time & venue (as a table section with 1 row), the act name & act bio that works nicely. If that act is appearing at more than one event I'd like to include another table section that lists those events. I think could get that with event.act.events except that it would include the event I'm currently displaying. Can anyone suggest how to get the data I want & exclude the current record? • ls output changing when used through exec()

  I'm using the ls command via PHP and exec() and I get a different output than when I run the same command via the shell. When running ls through PHP the year and month of the date get changed into the month name: Running the command through the shell: $ ls -lh /path/to/file -rw-r--r-- 1 sysadmin sysadmin 36M 2011-05-18 13:25 file Running the command via PHP: <?php exec("ls -lh /path/to/file", $output); print_r($output); /* Array ( [0] => -rw-r--r-- 1 sysadmin sysadmin 36M May 18 13:25 file ) */ Please note that: -the issue doesn't occur when I run the PHP script via the cli (it only occurs when run through apache) -I checked the source code of the page to make sure that what I was seeing was what I was getting (and I do get the month name instead of the proper date) -I also run the ls command through the shell as the www-data user to see if ls was giving different output depending on the user (the output is the always the same from the shell, that is I get the date in yyyy-mm-dd instead of the month name)

• how to handle it if the management just keep on giving me spec after spec non-stop?

  As a programmer, I feel burnt out if the management give me spec after spec, day after day. I think I can code 6 hours a day very focused, but non-stop coding does burn me out a little, especially it is 1 year or 18 months non-stop. A mere 1 week or 2 week vacation per year isn't going to help much. Sometimes I want to take some time to learn new things, or just to take a break for a month so as to re-charge, like back in college when we have holidays for 1 month during winter or 2.5 months during summer. What do you think?

A person assigns one or more meanings to each word: person word meaning ------------------- 1 1 4 1 2 19 1 2 7 <-- second meaning for word 2 1 3 5 ... 1 16 2 Then another person, and so on. There will be thousands of persons. I need to find for each of the 16 words the top three meanings (with their frequencies). Something like: word 1: meaning 5 (35% of people), meaning 19 (22% of people), meaning 2 (13% of people) word 2: meaning 8 (57%), meaning 1 (18%), meaning 22 (7%) ...   Hi, I just came across a very interesting issue. If I use ViewData to pass a DateTime value to the view and then display it inside a textbox, even though I'm using String.Format in the exact same manner, I get different formatting results when using the Html.TextBox helper. <%= Html.TextBox("datefilter", String.Format("{0:d}", ViewData["datefilter"]))%> <input id="test" name="test" type="text" value="<%: String.Format("{0:d}", ViewData["datefilter"]) %>" /> The above code renders the following html: <input id="datefilter" name="datefilter" type="text" value="2010-06-18" /> <input id="test" name="test" type="text" value="18/06/2010" /> Notice how the fist line that uses the Html helper produces the date format in one way while the second one produces a very different output. Any ideas why? Note: I'm currently in Brazil, so the standard short date format here is dd/MM/yyyy.

  Hi, i just lunch my web site i used the asp.net routing technology on it, and its work fine in my localhost but when i moved the project to the hosting server(Godaddy.com) its just work fine when there is no virtual sub directories like this(havebreak.com) but when u click on this link (havebreak.com/Registration/) or any other links that contain a virtual sub-directories its give Object reference not set to an instance of an object error on the profile object if (!Profile.IsAnonymous) Line 18: mlvRegistratioin.ActiveViewIndex = 1; i check my IIS settings and found it using the "Integrated pipeline" as recommended (at least at my knowledge), i checked the httpModules and httpHandlers tags under the system.webServer (since my hosting plan use the IIS7) and under the normal tag and every thing is fine then i used the url-rewriting instead of URL-Routing and the same problem exist and i notice that the session also not working in the virtual sub-directories too and by the way the ASP.NET routing work fine with my site its just the profile and session objects that not workin any help will be appreciated

  A picture says more than a thousand words. As you can see, my fill is based on the variable variable. Within each bar there is however multiple data entities (black borders) since the discrete variable complexity make them unique. What I am trying to find is something that makes each section of the bar more distinguishable than the current look. Preferable would be if it was something like shading.   We are using TypedDataSet in our application. Data is passed to procedure in form of XML for insert/update. Now after populating DE with data, datetime remains the same though timezone information is added as below. Date in DB: 2009-10-29 18:52:53.43 Date in XML: 2009-10-29T18:52:53.43-05:00 Now when I am trying to convert below XML to SQL DateTime it is adjusting 5 hours and I am getting 2009-10-29 23:52:53.430 as the final output, which is wrong.   Hi, I have a problem, I created a full text search query which return a record(s), in which the paramater I have supplied match(es) in every fields(full-text indexed) of multiple tables. The problem is , when the user.id is equal to ceritification.AId it returns a records eventhough it was not satisfied with the parameter supplied. For this example I supplied a value "xandrick" which return an Id=184, but the problem is it returns two ids which is 184 and 154.What is the best way to return an ID(s) that satisfied of the supplied given value?
