  • Generate a certificate with Openssl and import the same certificate using keytool

    I have a question about the SSL during the use of CAS in LIferay. I have generate the certificate using Openssl (I flollowed this tutorial) on my CAS Server and now I would to import the certificate using keytool on the Liferay machine. To import the certificate with keytool I use this command: keytool -import -alias tomcatLiferay -file /myopensslcertificate.crt But when I import the .crt certificate file and I check the CAS connection I get the message: SSL Error. IF I try to generate the certificate using keytool (keytool -genkey...) on the CAS server end I import this certificate using keytool -import .... I can connect to the CAS server and I not see any errors... I think that I use a wrong way to generate the certificate with openssl or a wrong way to import the certificate (generated with openssl) with keytool.

I have generate a certificate using this keytool command.. keytool -genkey -alias myalias -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 and I used this command to export the certificate keytool -export -alias myalias -file certificate.crt So, I have a file .crt Now I would to configure my Apache ssl module. I need to use keytool...At the moment I can't to use Openssl How can I configure the module if I have only this certificate.crt file?     I need to enable SSL on my Tomcat and Apache so I need to generate the (self-signed) certificate using Openssl tool end, about Tomcat, I need to import the certificate using keytool. I know that is necessary to convert (openssl) certificate to Tomcat compatible format. So I need to Use OpenSSL to convert the certificate into an PKCS12 keystore an I need to Import this keystore using keytool and export as Tomcat compatible keystore. But I not understood how can I convert a my certificate (generated with Openssl) into a requested Tomcat format? is possible to explain me all the steps to reach my goal? thanks

  • IIS 7 Authentication: Certain users can't authenticate, while almost all others can.

    I'm using IIS 7 Digest authentication to control access to a certain directory containing files. Users access the files through a department website from inside our network and outside. I've set NTFS permissions on the directory to allow a certain AD group to view the files. When I click a link to one of those files on the website I get prompted for a username and password. With most users everything works fine, but with a few of them it prompts for a password 3 times and then get: 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. But other users that are in the group can get in without a problem. If I switch it over to Windows Authentication, then the trouble users can log in fine. That directory is also shared, and users that can't log in through the website are able to browse to the share and view files in it, so I know that the permissions are ok.   • OS X random, jumpy dragging behavior

    This problem has been going on since I got 10.7, and is persisting or even getting worse since I updated to Mavricks. The best way to describe it is thru an example- Let's say I'm working in Safari. Everything is working fine. Then, I'll switch to another app by clicking on it's window, for example, I'll click on Messages to shoot back a reply. When I click back to Safari, keyboard and mouse inputs don't work! The only way I can regain control of the app (Safari) is by clicking on the apps top bar, which then causes the app to jump left or right. If I'm in Messages and I switch back to Safari by clicking said top bar, it works fine. Same with switching back and forth using command-tab. I've narrowed the problem down to this - the first app (Safari, in this example) is, for some reason, deciding that I'm in the process of dragging the window around. This could be just an oddly persistent glitch in my system, but has anyone else seen this before? Perhaps a misplaced default write... somewhere along the line? Update A PRAM reset did absolutely nothing

Now I know that I can open multiple windows of Safari in Space 1 and then just move the windows manually, but is there an easy way to open an already opened program in a new Space?

    Why does an ampersand in URL cause failure of the following command? I want to open a web page by running Safari in Terminal, placing the URL as an argument. This works as expected: open -a safari "http://endic.naver.com/search.nhn?sLn=en&searchOption=all&query=good" But once the quotes being removed, it wouldn't work as expected: open -a safari http://endic.naver.com/search.nhn?sLn=en&searchOption=all&query=good Instead, it returns: [3] 5395 [4] 5396 [1] Done open -a safari http://endic.naver.com/search.nhn?sLn=en [2] Done searchOption=all Seems like ampersand in the URL was treated as "running previous command in the background", though there is no space following the ampersand in the URL.

    The below image is the current, and hopefully final, look of the front screen, the app will remember which stack site you have chosen so the user will only see this screen the first time, but they can always go back and change it. The red bar is only there when a new site is added (the StackOverflow is just a test as no site has been added since I implemented this) and can be gotten rid of by tapping the X on the right side (which isn't in the screenshot). Each column now has an edit button where the sites can be rearranged and moved from favourites to non favourites and this is persistent between app launches, moving a site in one column moves it in all of them. I've removed site icons in order to put them in properly so they load lazily and theres no UI freezing. Printing Functionality all implemented and working, thanks to systempuntoout's stackprinter.com works with AirPrint, which means this app will be iOS 4.2 minimum. Current features: 3 columns Email link to question, open in safari and copy link actions History for both questions and sites visited In app notification (red bar at the top) when a new site makes it into beta. StackPrinter in the app, without needing safari, and AirPrint functionality.   • How to get the stacktrace in a mobile device?

    I'm getting a NullPointerException in a Nokia S40. I want to know what is causing this exception. The device shows: NullPointerException java/lang/NullPointerException This error only occurs in the device, running in the emulator the application works fine. I use microlog to debug my application. But the application works fine if the log is enabled. Is there a way to get the stack trace when I get this NullPointerException? I don't need all details like the line number just which method cause this exception. UPDATE: I installed the same application in another Nokia S40 and the same error didn't occur.     I have a modal pop up function on my website, but i don't want this to run if the browser is smaller than 480px. I have found that if I put an if statement such as: if (window.innerWidth && window.innerWidth > 480) { run function() } Then it should run only if the browsers innerWidth is 480. However its not working and I think its because I have page scaling on this website. Can any one help me with a conditional statement if page scaling is on? Thanks.

    Hello, I'm running some tests and need to be able to get Windows Phone 7 Series emulator synced with an exchange account or local Outlook account via the Device Center. I'm using the unlocked version of the emulator so that i actually have a reasonable set of software on the phone to work with. When the emulator launches i expect the Device Center to detect it and start syncing (or prompt me for settings). This does not happen. I've tried adjusting the Connection Settings (COM2 and DMA) in the Device Center with no luck. Is this possible? Has anyone done it? Thanks in advance!
