Is this something for some sort of subversion hook or is there a decent third party package for this or some other "best practice" way to approach accessing subversion data externally (and by external I mean from a php/ruby or python script... external to subversion itself)?

  Problem: 2 projects shared trunk and were updating some of the same files. Now one project needs to be released, so a new branch was created from a checkpoint before the projects started. I have a list of just my changelist numbers from the mainline. Using that I can generate a list changed files and diff output using a script with a series of 'p4 describe #' commands. Can I reformat that output and apply it to the new branch somehow?

  Hi, I have a django script which loads data, the beginning of the script deletes all datas in database. So when I execute 1st time this script, the auto increment primary keys begin to 1 to 15 (if 15 objects) and if I want to reload data, I reexecute the script. My issue is when I execute it again, pks numbers begin to 16 (for 2nd launch), I would like each time auto_increment begins to 1, is it possible whitout regenerating tables structure each time ? • easy hex/float conversion

  I am doing some input/output between a c++ and a python program (only floating point values) python has a nice feature of converting floating point values to hex-numbers and back as you can see in this link: http://docs.python.org/library/stdtypes.html#additional-methods-on-float Is there an easy way in C++ to to something similar? and convert the python output back to C++ double/float? This way I would not have the problem of rounding errors when exchanging data between the two processes... thx for the answers!

  Dear all, I've a list of float numbers and I would like to delete incrementally a set of elements in a given range of indexes, sth. like: for j in range(beginIndex, endIndex+1): print ("remove [%d] => val: %g" % (j, myList[j])) del myList[j] However, since I'm iterating over the same list, the indexes (range) are not valid any more for the new list.
