• Check if NSURL is Local File

  This is a pretty simple question- how can I check if a NSURL is linking to a local file? I know, RTFM, but I checked the documentation and I don't seem to see any methods related to this. The only methods I did find were -isFileReferenceURL and -isFileURL, but I think these only check if the URL directly links to a file. note: I'm making an iPhone app, so by "local file" I mean a .html file stored in the project's resources. Thanks for any help in advance.

Project paths in the solution file checked in initially contains the path that are specific to that developer. Now when another dev gets latest of the solution, some of the projects won't load as the path differs. What's a better way to manage this ? TIA

  Hello, I am using VS 2008 and .Net Framework 3.5 when i compile project i m getting error Compiler executable file csc.exe cannot be found. I have checked that csc.exe is also exist in the .net frame work folder. When i change compiler version 3.5 to 2.0 it starts working but My 3.5 Features are not available there like LINQ. I have try everything, Update .Net Framework, Install latest service Pack. Please help me out this Problem.

• ASP.NET MVC Cookie loses value when page is changed

  When a user logs in to my site, I create a cookie with some info in it. However, whenever they change page from logging in, the cookie loses it's value. Cookie is still there but it's empty. I've checked my code and the cookie doesn't get rewritten by anything I've done. Does anyone have any idea to why the cookie becomes empty when the page is changed?

• Timestamp problem showing 1970 instead of 1988

  Hi, I am trying to set default value in DateField using the following statement DateField dateField = new DateField("Birthday:", 567993600, DateField.DATE | DateField.FIELD_LEFT); but when I run my application it shows me 7 Jan 1970 instead of 1 Jan 1988. I checked the time stamp on http://www.onlineconversion.com/unix_time.htm and it shows me correct expected date which is, "Fri, 01 Jan 1988 00:00:00 GMT" I am using 8900 simulator and my date time is correct showing today's date 31 Dec 2010 in date time under options folder. The reason for this is the controll on tab 2 is not in the "created" state, so its binding to change the checkbox from unchecked to checked does not happen until after the control has been "Created". checkbox1.CreateControl() does not do anything because according to MSDN CreateControl does not create a control handle if the control's Visible property is false. You can either call the CreateHandle method or access the Handle property to create the control's handle regardless of the control's visibility, but in this case, no window handles are created for the control's children. I tried getting the value of Handle(there is no public CreateHandle() for CheckBox) but still the same result. Any suggestions other than have the program quickly flash all of my tabs that have data-bound check boxes when it first loads? EDIT-- per Jaxidian's suggestion I created a new class public class newcheckbox : CheckBox { public new void CreateHandle() { base.CreateHandle(); } } I call CreateHandle() right after updating = true same results as before.
