• Are there any Parsing Expression Grammar (PEG) libraries for Javascript or PHP?

  I find myself drawn to the Parsing Expression Grammar formalism for describing domain specific languages, but so far the implementation code I've found has been written in languages like Java and Haskell that aren't web server friendly in the shared hosting environment that my organization has to live with. Does anyone know of any PEG libraries or PackRat Parser Generators for Javascript or PHP? Of course code generators in any languages that can produce Javascript or PHP source code would do the trick.

• wpf: bind to a style property on main window from UserControl

  I have a UserControl which has a style, that i would like to be influenced by a settings checkbox on the main window hosting my user control so myControl.xaml has a Style which i would like to have a trigger, that should observe a CheckBox inside MainWindow.xaml i know one way to do this, would be to create a local property in myControl.cs which would look at the property in MainWindow.cs which would in turn return state of that cheeckbox.. but maybe there is a way to do this w/out writing any c# code ?

• How faster is using an internal IP address instead of an external one?

  I have a mailing list application that sends emails through several dedicated SMTP servers (running Linux Debian 5 and Postfix) in the same network of a hosting company. However, the application is using the servers' external IP addresses in order to connect to them over SMTP, and I was wondering what kind of improvement would be obtained if the application used the internal IP addresses of the servers instead?   I have a script file for parsing through a SQLite database. I now need to create a CRON job that will download and unzip said database from a third-party (already hosting as SQLITE). I understand this can be done using WGET and UNZIP, but given Heroku's read only file system, is this possible entirely in memory? Thanks.

I am not using a svn client for this repo, but managing everything with ankhsvn (including adding solution file and project files to the new repo).   I am designing a desktop application in C#, which needs to be connected to my online mysql database. I tried to give access in control panel a "%" which means from any IP, but it is not working. May be the hosting provider (bigrock) not allowing that. Alternatively, I am trying to write some code in online on PHP which will get the "sql" as parameter and returns the output as JSON format using json_encode.   Hi all, I just set up Mercurial on our main webserver, hosting repositories via hgwebdir.cgi. The problem I'm having now is when I run hg push from my local machine to the server's repository, it takes an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to push a very small directory, with only a single changeset. Is it possible that I've set something up wrong? I keep getting HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway. Thanks!
