  • Browsing PDF in a web page without using Flash

    I Have an N-Pages PDF linked in a my web page. I want to be able to browse the PDF, with next and prev arrows, page numbers, etc etc I want to be able to browse the PDF without using any Flash Plugin. I also want to normalize the browsing behaviour, so i don't want to use the default PDF plugin of the browser. I'm looking for a JS plugin but i don't find interesting solutions. Any other suggestions ? Thanks

Now after looking all around the net, it looks like there are some solutions for each of these, but I can never get them working. So far, I've tried setting the maximum size manually or via a layout manager. However, both of these solutions can cause part of a line to be displayed.

    Hi, I have one problem let assume A and B are 2 view controller from A user push to B view controller,In B user starts some download by creating object C(which is NSObject class) and sets B as delegate to C(assign),now user want go back to A then dealloc of B calls object releases, C delegate fails to give call back(crashes).I want to get call and allow user to move to other view controller thats way i am retain the delegate in C class but retain of delegate is wrong ... what are all solutions ...     I'm embedding a Flash ActiveX control in my C++ app (Flash.ocx, Flash10a.ocx, etc depending on your Flash version). I can load an SWF file by calling LoadMovie(0, filename), but the file needs to physically reside in the disk. How to load the SWF from memory (or resource, or stream)? I'm sure there must be a way, because commercial solutions like f-in-box's feature Load flash movies from memory directly also uses Flash ActiveX control.

Please don't tell me that the last solution is better only because jQuery uses that.

    I have tried both the .net FileUpload control and the ajax Asyncfileuploadcontrol to upload a file less than 500kb. It seems that when I tried to go through my wireless router (att.bellsouth) that the uploads always fail, however when I plug my droid into my laptop and use my pda connection it works perfectly fine. I'm wondering if the network connection from my house to my server could be causing this issue, and if anyone had any solutions to this problem. Tomorrow I'm going to try and upload from other networks and pray it works.

  • How do I gather TeamCity code coverage reports from multiple projects into one report?

    We use the build in coverage application in TeamCity 6 (about to upgrade to 7.1) If we wish to see the code coverage (or other metrics) of a particular build it is fine as we can navigate to that build, but it would be great if we could pluck out a few interesting metrics from all/some of the current projects/build configurations and display them all together. For convenience I would expect the new display to be accessible from within TeamCity itself, however if there are solutions that require a separate solution we could look at them. Thanks

  • iPhone HTTP Live Streaming not working on models below 3GS

    We are using http live streaming for on demand video from within our iPhone app and on the 3GS models the videos play as they are meant to. However, on the models pre 3GS it gives an error saying this movie format is not supported. I have seen other threads on this however no solutions or insights. Does anyone know if this really is a hardware limitation of the pre 3GS phones or does it have something to do with our code?

    I've a table with working_hours time(0), lunch_hours time(0) What I have to do is the following: If lunch_hours is greater that one hour, I have to calculate the offset Example: lounch_hour = 01:30:00 = offset = 00:30:00 Once done I've to subtract the offset from the working_hours value Example: offset = 00:30:00, working_hours = 07:30:00 = working_hours = 07:00:00 The result must be in time(0) format (hh:mm:ss) I've tried several solutions but still not working. Used DATEDIFF probably didn't used in correct way. Thanks for any help Bye!
