• Best way to keep a large number of hobby projects alive; open sourcing?

  Because my time is limited I can usually only focus on one or two of my hobby projects, while the others sit there wasting away. I am looking for a solution that would allow me to divide my time better. is open sourcing where I take the role of guiding the project realistic, or are there better solutions? In my case, one project has a reasonably sized community of users going for it but is currently closed source. There have been requests to open source it.

  Yes, so I got the problem that if you type a long sentence with no space e.g eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, it will break itself, but then now I would need to start typing some ugly non-breaking coding. The requirements are: Written in C (small footprint) Support Dynamic HTML Support Java script Minimum dependencies on the libraries (although i understand that it can not be completely standalone) No Dependency on X11 (i.e working with direct frame qui libraries) So far i only found Embedded Konqueror.   We are using two load balancing server for asp.net site in that we have a functionality which will create a receipt of order in pdf using abcpdf component it was working fine without load balancing server and but when we move it to load balancing server it is giving errors like. A generic error occurred in GDI. I have given full rights to directory which is used but still there problem. Does anybody have a solutions for this.

  I am needing to upgrade MYSQL on Ubuntu, it is a production server and naturally cautious. My many googles look to be essentially saying that I need to : 1) Backup my current mysql database and tables/data 2) Uninstall current mysql 3) Install new MYSQL 5+ 4) Restore Databases/ tables and data 5) Hope and Pray I got it right ??   Is there a simple way to recursively find all files in a directory hierarchy, that do not end in a list of extensions? E.g. all files that are not *.dll or *.exe UNIX/GNU find, powerful as it is, doesn't seem to have an exclude mode (or I'm missing it), and I've always found it hard to use regular expressions to find things that don't match a particular expression. I'm in a Windows environment (using the GnuWin32 port of most GNU tools), so I'm equally open for Windows-only solutions.

When starting the main project I can switch the language successfully from english to german. But the GUI elements from the sub projects still show the english text.
