  • MPI - passing function as a parameter

    Hi, is there any how how to pass function as a parameter when starting program in C? I am implementing app for integral aproximation, and all I need is to type a function I want to work with, when starting app. I tried (e.g.) 2/(2+2*x), but I only get back "2". When I write to application directly, there is no problem. Is there any simple way of getting this? Maybe redistribute it to more parametres? Like app.c number number*x number *x*x number *x*x*x... ? Thanks

This wouldn't mangle the name C_library_function and linker would find the same name in its input *.lib files and problem is solved. Calling C++ function from C??? But here I'm extending a large application which is written in C and I need to use a library which is written in C++. Name mangling of C++ is causing trouble here. Linker is complaining about the unresolved symbols. Well I cannot use C++ compiler over my C project because thats breaking lot of other stuff. What is the way out? By the way I'm using MSVC

    Hi! I'm looking for a tool that will tell/resolve for every function all the call paths (call it "routes") to it. For example: void deeper(int *pNumber) { *pNumber++; } void gateA(int *pNumber) { deeper(pNumber); } void gateB(int *pNumber) { gateA(pNumber); } void main() { int x = 123; gateA(&x); gateB(&x); } See? I need a tool that will tell me all the routes to deeper(), and more if possible. By saying "more" I mean that it will tell me if the pointer is the same as been provided to the calling function.   • calling javascript function inside orkut iframe

    Hi guys, I'm having a web game loaded in orkut application via iframe so there are the orkut iframe and mine iframe inside the xml. Everything is ok, but now I need to have a button for inviting some friends and wall posts from some features. I didn't find a way for including the orkut javascript in the game's code so the first thing that pops into my mind was to call a custom function in the xml by using: window.parent.myFunction(); but it gives me error: permission denied. I've tried some other ways of reaching that function but the error is the same. Does anybody know a way of doing that or this can't be done ?

  • If element has been 'mouseover'ed for 500ms, run function with jQuery

    For the sanity of my users, I want a 'mouseover' event to run after the selector has been hovered for half a second rather than as soon as they hover it. I first tried a setTimeout function but that runs however long the element has been hovered, I didn't think it through too much I guess. I've also spent a day (on and off) searching (and playing Pacman) ti no result, unless I'm searching for the wrong things. I would like to keep this plugin-less if we can, purely for run speed & maintainability. $("#mySelector").mouseover(function(){ // Run after 500ms $(this).addClass("hasBeen500ms"); }); Let's see if we can crack this, I know it will have so many applications!

    I am trying to implement a callback timer function in C++ which should do a callback after a timeout. I am listening on a socket and then waiting for messages on it. so if I have something like getMessages() and I want to pass the timer function in it as an argument. So how can it be implemented that after the receive of a message, the timer is started and the callback happens if there is a timeout before the next messages arrives. I am new to callback functions. My plan is to replace the code above with something equivalent. Here is what I want to do in pseudo-code. n_y = cos(test) / (magnitude of cos (test)); This will give me same thing. Abs() only takes integers. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi guys, I am having a javascript written like this. imageDiv.onclick = function(){xyz.deleteImage(param1, param2);return false;}; Now things are fine in Firefox, Chrome and Safari. But I have a strange issue in Internet Explorer. What happens is, when I click on the imageDiv in my page, the deleteImage() method is getting invoked twice. One being the actual deleteimage() method thats given here and another is the deleteimage() method that I have in the page. How to resolve this issue. Please help.

Before calculation takes place: Make sure all three select values are changed before function(F) takes place. If not prompt the user with a notice ( create dom element/ I am using jquery) b. After the value R is calculated show an element corresponding to the result e.g. if R is 1 show an element ( a predetermined "link" element corresponding to each result value) thanks a lot.

    I have a project. It has a good number of PHP files. Each of these files includes a standard header. They don't include a standard footer. Now I want to do something just before the end of every page. I can go through each page and add the footer code, but I was wondering if there is an easier way (and I think I've seen something like it before, though I might be mistaken). Is there a way to set a "hook" or "trigger" function that will be executed at the end of a page, from the included header PHP script? I'm thinking of something like set_error_handler but to handle a page close event. Or like C's atexit function.

  • Calling a function in a JavaScript file with Selenium IDE

    So, I'm running these Selenium IDE tests against a site I'm working on. Everything about the tests themselves is running fine, except I would like to do a bit of clean-up once I'm done. In my MVC3 Razor based site, I have a JavaScript file with a function that gets a JsonResult from a Controller of mine. That Controller handles the database clean-up that Selenium IDE otherwise couldn't handle. However, I'm having a hard time finding any sort of documentation on how to do this. I know I can do JavaScript{ myJavascriptGoesHere } as one of the Values for a line in the test, but I can't seem to find a way to tell it to go find my clean-up function. Is it even possible for Selenium IDE to do this sort of thing? If it comes down to it, I can just make a separate View to handle the clean-up, but I'd really like to avoid that if possible. Thanks!
