  • What's a good jQuery ligthbox plugin that cycles through images? (like a carousel)

    I'm looking for a jQuery lightbox plugin that has the ability to, with it's next and previous buttons, cycle through images repeatedly. Like a carousel effect. I've been using jQuery Lightbox Plugin (balupton edition) but that doesn't have the option to continue cycling through images. It reaches the last image in the array and then disables the 'next' button. So to save me some time coding, what are some plugins you can recommend?

    The ADT plugin requires Eclipse 3.0 or 3.5. I would like to upgrade my PC from Vista to Windows 7. But Eclipse 3.5 is not compatible with Windows 7 (as of today, 5/3/2010). Eclipse 8.0 is compatible with Windows 7, but the ADT plugin requires versions 3.0 or 3.5. Any solution in sight?

  • How do I stop the m2eclipse plugin interfering with command line mvn builds?

    I use the m2eclipse plugin in Eclipse so that I can import a Maven project. The plugin reads the pom.xml and sorts out the dependencies in the projects in an Eclipse friendly way so I'm not looking at a sea of broken references and errors. I use Eclipse for code development however I usually build the projects from the command line, e.g. "mvn clean install". Unfortunately when I do this, m2eclipse detects disk activity and attempts to rebuild the workspace. This interferes with the command line build and sometimes results in a race condition. For example the command line might be in its clean phase but fails because it tries to delete a file or directory which is locked during the workspace rebuild. Aside from that workspace rebuilding is incredibly slow, and between failed builds and wasted CPU my build process is 2-3x longer than it should be. It isn't an option to not use Eclipse (e.g. to use Netbeans), or to disable m2eclipse. It is a useful plugin except for this behaviour. So my question is, how do I stop m2eclipse from rebuilding the workspace all the time? Can I invoke a manual refresh and otherwise disable this behaviour?

    Perhaps my brain is fried, but I'm writing a plugin that created an tweaks an element, but also creates an object that i'd like access to. So the plugin looks like this (function ($) { $.fn.myPlugin = function () { return this.each(function () { // do some stuff to the element... this.objectInstance = new usefulObject(); }); }; })(jQuery); function usefulObject(){ // useful object properties and methods.... this.doSomething = function(){ alert("Don't google Google. You'll break the internet."); } } so when I call the plugin, I also want to be able to get access to that usefulObject that I created. I thought something like this might work.... tweakedElement = $("#someDiv").myPlugin(); tweakedElement.objectInstance.doSomething(); ... but that's not working. How can I achieve this?     I have successfully set up this plugin before so I am curious as to what I am doing wrong here. I have built the ability for users to add tags to questions. I am not using tagging plugin here but that shouldn't matter for this. With respect to the auto complete, I am trying to have the form located in the /views/questions/show.html.erb file access the Tags table and display entries in the tags.tags_name column. The plugin set up is fairly simple as you add the following line to your controller: auto_complete_for :tag, :tag_name and the following line in your routes.rb file: map.resources :tags, :collection => {:auto_complete_for_tag_tag_name => :get } I have added the controller line to both my tags and questions controller and also mapped resources for both tags and questions in my routes.rb file: map.resources :tags, :collection => {:auto_complete_for_tag_tag_name => :get } map.resources :questions, :collection => {:auto_complete_for_tag_tag_name => :get } I have played around with removing either or of the above but can't seem to fix it. Pipeline-Stage is post-operational, execution is synchronous. I register for a post image that contains baseamount.   • How can I force a Word plugin to be re-enabled after being automatically disabled?

    I have been developing a plugin for MS Word (2007) and recently it was causing some crashes on exit and I guess Word automatically disabled it. I went into Word Options under COM Add-ins and checked the box to re-enable it, but when I click okay and then open Word again it's still shown as disabled. I tried looking for something in the registry for this but I wasn't able to find anything. Is there some file or registry key that contains the enabled/disabled status of plugins?

  • Fix or replacement for thunderbird Buttons! plugin.

    I have been using Thunderbird Buttons! plug-in for years with Thunderbird 2.0, especially it's nifty Archive feature that lets you archive the message to one of the pre-set folder with a single mouse click. Unfortunately this plug-in doesn't work with Thunderbird version 3.0.4 and later. The plugin has not been updated since 2007. So could anybody recommend any fix or replacement for this?

    I have a strange problem, everytime i plugin my external hard drive, its letter increase, "g,h,i,j,k,l,m, then n, and now o" I went to computer manager and did what is described in this question: http://superuser.com/questions/76165/windows-changing-an-external-hard-drives-drive-letter To change the drive letter, but i found that the letters from h to n are all missed and not in the list. How to solve this problem? I am using windows 7 ultimate edition 32. 2GB Ram.
