• in django am facing url problem.....

  am using django.0.97 version i have model called profile in that i have few fields eg like name ,email...ects and it's backend also ready..i.e database . and all users profile is created...i have given all permission to all users. when i login ,click on profile..i able to see list of all user name thr when i click on it ,it's goin to model page where i can edit the user profile..instead of that i want to navigate to a template when i can display the user details ,i have set the URl for it so that when url of that type request comes it should call a view from view it will call my template to display user details,.....the problem is it's not calling my view.... i think my problem is brief....if any information still required ?? pls ask me....and help me

  What would be the most concise/readable way in a velocity template to join multiple fields with a separator while leaving out empty or null Strings without adding excess separators? As an example we have a tooltip or appointments that goes like: Appointment ($number) [with $employee] [-] [$remarks] [-] [$roomToVisit] Where I used brackets to indicate optional data. When filled in it would normally show as Appointment (3) with John - ballroom - serve Java coffee When $remarks is empty but $roomToVisit is not, this becomes: Appointment (3) with John - ballroom When $remarks is "serve Java coffee" but $roomToVisit is empty we get: Appointment (3) with John - serve Java coffee When both are empty: Appointment (3) with John Bonus: also make the field prefix optional. When only $employee is empty we should get: Appointment (2) serve Java coffee - ballroom Ideally I would like the velocity template to look very similar to the first code box. If this is not possible, how would you achieve this with a minimum of distracting code tags? • Manipulate Excel workbooks programmatically

  I have an Excel workbook that I want to use as a template. It has several worksheets setup, one that produces the pretty graphs and summarizes the numbers. Sheet 1 needs to be populated with data that is generated by another program. The data comes in a tab delimited file. Currently the user imports the tab delimited file into a new Workbook, selects all and copies. Then goes to the template and pastes the data into sheet1. This is a large amount of data, 269 columns and over 135,000 rows. It’s a cumbersome process and the users are not experienced Excel users. All they really want is the pretty graphs. I would like to add a step after the program that generates the data to programmatically automate the process the user currently must do manually. Can anyone suggest the best method/programming language that could accomplish this?

  I have a vs2008 GAT package that has been updated to work on vs2010 which walks a developer through creating a custom solution complete with a Service layer project, Domain, usercontrol, and unit test project. I'd like to add a new ItemTemplate to the package to create a user control or dialog that adheres to our current practices. So far it seems I need a Recipe, but I can not find any reference for the GuidancePackage.xml file and how to properly add things to it, let alone how to add a new Item Template or guidance steps and decisions. How can I add an item template to my add-in?

• Pass page scope attributes to a JSP using pagecontext.include for use in JSTL?

  We're using this JSP template solution almost verbatim at work: http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/javaserverpages/jsp_templates/ When it gets JSP pages to be included, it uses pageContext.include, which leaves us with one problem, and that is that we have a lot of scriplet code that gets initialized in the JSP itself (tag soup). My thought was to modify the template tag with an additional attribute that is a package path reference to a class with an init or execute method. That execute would get called first, and would add page context attributes before including the JSP. We would then use JSTL to access those attributes. However, I was told this wouldn't work because of how pageContext.include works, and the inability to pass through attributes scoped to the page. Is that true, and are there workarounds? I'm so-so on knowing all my scoping rules.

• SWF (using XML) only working locally, not on home server or web hosting server

  Hi, I use a main SWF file, which has some animations. It uses xml from a .php file which specifies several items, e.g. images and other SWFs to be used in the main SWF. Locally everything works perfectly, but when invoking it via my home server, or hosting provider it doesn't work anymore and I don't get why. All links are relative and correct. Somehow the main SWF doesn't load fully, or has problems with the XML from the .php file. The ActionScript from the main sWF can be found at samedomain as above/Actionscript_mainmovie.txt This also seems to work great. the function formattabs (line 68) uses some javascript. Locally the main SWF functions even without this hbx file which is located /cc-common/wss/hbx.js and use in the webpage actually. I haven't got a clue what's keeping the main SWF from working properly, because all other single SWFs work properly when invoked using a direct link. And this one just isn't working... Do I maybe need to add something in the php.ini file?? Any help would be appreciated!

  I have several strings in my site that don't belong to any app, for example {% block title %}{% trans "Login" %}{% endblock %} or a modified authentication form used to set the locale cookie class AuthenticationFormWithLocaleOption(AuthenticationForm): locale = forms.ChoiceField(choices = settings.LANGUAGES, required = False, initial = preselectedLocale, label = _("Locale/language")) Now when I execute django-admin.py makemessages --all -e .html,.template in the site directory, it extracts the strings from all Python, .html and .template files, including those in my apps. That is because I develop my apps inside that directory: Directory structure: sitename myapp1 myapp2 Is there any way to extract all strings that are not in my apps? The only solution I found is to move the app directories outside the site directory structure, but I'm using bzr-externals (similar to git submodules or svn externals) so that doesn't make sense in my case. Moving stuff that needs translation into a new app is also possible but I don't know if that is the only reasonable solution.

  hi, I'm using Drupal and Lightbox module to display the content of articles in this website: donatellabernardi.ch/drupal if you click on an article the lightbox is displayed. However I have 2 problems with it: 1) I cannot use the libraries such as the tooltip library qTip from it. (If you move the mouse over the balls, you'll see the tooltips) 2) I cannot invert the title with the balls (tags), because it seems that the template of the node in the lightbox is not controlled by my theme. I tried also to change the node template (in the drupal root folder), swapping title and meta data but it didn't work. thanks

But if I try to do the samething with parameter being passed I get nothing.   I know it's possible to separate to create a pointer to member function like this struct K { void func() {} }; typedef void FuncType(); typedef FuncType K::* MemFuncType; MemFuncType pF = &K::func; Is there similar way to construct a pointer to a const function? I've tried adding const in various places with no success. I've played around with gcc some and if you do template deduction on something like template <typename Sig, typename Klass> void deduce(Sig Klass::*); It will show Sig with as a function signature with const just tacked on the end. If to do this in code it will complain that you can't have qualifiers on a function type. Seems like it should be possible somehow because the deduction works.

• PHP require/include only works once in script then fails

  Hi everybody, this isn't a problem as such but it's bugging me and I would appreciate any help. It might be totally obvious but I can't see it. $root_path = $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] require($root_path .'template/header.php') require($root_path .'template/footer.php') The script will include one or the other but not both. It will run and include the header but not the footer, if I swap them round it will load the footer first but not the header. I've tried using include instead of require but get the same result. It gives the error allow_url_include = 0. I know turning this on will solve it but my question is why is it happening? Why will it include one file but not the other? Is there any way to get them to both run without turning allow_url_include on (I'm trying to be security conscious). I have PHP 5.3 and am running WAMP. Thanks in advance for your help!

• Ruby w/ Postgres & Sinatra - Query won't order right with parameter??

  So I set a variable in my main ruby file that's handling all my post and get requests and then use ERB templates to actually show the pages. I pass the database handler itself into the erb templates, and then run a query in the template to get all (for this example) grants. In my main ruby file: grants_main_order = "id_num" get '/grants' do erb :grants, :locals => {:db=>db, :order=>grants_main_order, :message=>params[:message]} end In the erb template: db = locals[:db] getGrants = db.exec("SELECT * FROM grants ORDER BY $1", [locals[:order]]) This produces some very random ordering, however if I replace the $1 with id_num, it works as it should. Is this a typing issue? How can I fix this? Using string replacement with #{locals[:order]} also gives funky results.

• Forcing EditorFor to prefix input items on view with Class Name?

  I have an EditorFor: <%: Html.EditorFor(model => model.Client, "ClientTemplate", new { editing = false })%> This will bind coming down to the view fine (as expected) but will not bind bind back when the model gets posted. This is due to the form id's not being prefixed with "Client." Usually in this situation i just pass in model and then bind the inputs to model.Client.PropertyName in the Template but this is not an option in this case as the template is used on two different viewmodels (that have client on).   I'm using DataGrid from CodePlex. I have objects (ICustomTypeDescriptor) that have properties 'name' 'description' 'c' 'd' and so on (the names are dynamic, and so is the value) and they have information behind them. I have templates for different types. And if I have to list the properties of a single element I can just bind to the values in xaml and use datatemplateselector (in datagridtemplatecolumn) which will pick the correct template. However, when I'm listing several of the elements, how can I use the selectors and the templates? How do I get the correct property bound to the template (two-way)? • How can I use javascript to convert relative href attributes into absolute paths?

  I have a template that gets screenscraped from an outside vendor and need to include absolute paths in the navigation so the externally hosted content will properly link back to our site. Right now the page/template is driven by a global menu app written by our back end development staff... so anyone who updates our site goes in and changes the menus and their paths... Right now all of the links are linking to relative paths back to the root. For example <a href="/">Home</a> <a href="/news/">News</a> <a href="/media/">Media</a> <a href="/other/">Other</a> I need a simple way (preferably with jquery) to prepend "http://www.domain.com" to each of those links.

It has 2 attributes: a random ID - not helpful an image url - but it is a button, and other buttons use the same image url, not helpful a CSS class - also used by too many other things to be helpful a style - neither helpful nor unique This image is however inside of an anchor tag, but the anchor tab isn't to a page, it just runs some javascript. • Magento: custom module layout override not working

  I have a small custom module which is supposed to show on all product pages, but it doesn't. It only shows when setting its reference to "content", but I want it to display witin the already existing product view divs, thus, display it within the "product.info" reference. • How can I link in both remote and local assets into a webview?

  I'm loading HTML-formatted content into my app from a web service, then plugging that into a local HTML template that lives within the app. Now, I need to set the UIWebView's BaseURL to point at the remote server so that all relative image links will load. However, I'm also trying to link in some local assets (CSS, JavaScript). Thus far, I have not found any documentation on how to link in local assets without relying on the UIWebView's baseURL. I've tried injecting the absolute file path of my CSS and JS into my HTML template, but it hasn't worked... I don't know if that means that it doesn't work, or if I'm just doing it wrong. Has anyone ever run into this scenario, and if so, how did you address it? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate any tips!

  I've written a variadic template that accepts a variable number of char parameters, i.e. template <char... Chars> struct Foo; I was just wondering if there were any macro tricks that would allow me to instantiate this with syntax similar to the following: Foo<"abc"> or Foo<SOME_MACRO("abc")> or Foo<SOME_MACRO(abc)> etc. Basically, anything that stops you from having to write the characters individually, like so Foo<'a', 'b', 'c'> This isn't a big issue for me as it's just for a toy program, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

• Creating a virtual, data-driven section of a Wordpress-powered site

  Hello all, I want to create a plugin for wordpress to automatically serve pages containing data pulled from a provider's API. The API returns one or more records containing data for that record and I simply want to have the plugin intercept the request, call the API with parameters pulled from the request URI and display the data using a template that I can either let them upload to the server or let them copy and paste into the plugins admin settings. For example, I may want one of my wordpress installations to show products pulled from such an API under the url "example.com/products". The plugin would catch that request, extract the variables from the URL, call the API and render the template with the returned results. I'd like to avoid requiring editing the .htaccess file like some caching plugins do. Some of the admins of these pages won't know how to do that or simply won't have access to the .htaccess file.
