  • how to redraw markers without redrawing the map? google maps.

    I currently have a implementation where some markers coming from JSON list is shown, on a particular area, Now I want to filter these marker depending upon some criteria, I have done the filtering part, and got the filtered list. Now to render this markers on the map again, The current implementation loads the js with a key again, also creates the GMap2 object and draws the list of marker on the newly created map, which is really annoying. I want map to be there and only markers to be added and removed from the map. Any help is appreciated

How can I determine which is the current view?? I need to get the current view to execute the code that hides the virtual keyboard. 2) How can I check whether the virtual keyboard is currently being displayed (so I can filter the actions of my various hard keys)?? For database simplicity it uses a where clause on the bag to filter the joining table. this works well until I start to test and I use the hbm file to create a database from the generated schema. The root and user tags columns aren't created. In the hbm file how do I define these two columns so they are generated in the schema?

    I have the following model: class Service(models.Model): ratings = models.ManyToManyField(User) Now if I wanna get all the service with ratings sorted in descending order I did something: services_list = Service.objects.filter(ratings__gt=0).distinct() services_list = list(services_list) services_list.sort(key=lambda service: service.ratings.all().count(), reverse=True) As you can see its a three step process and I don't feel right about this. Anybody who knows a better way to do this?

    i have setup a profanity filter with bad words in a XML file and have the following function to run on my page to replace the words: BadWordFilter.Instance.GetCleanString(TextBox1.Text); i'm about to go through my entire site now wrapping that function around every little text variable one by one and it's going to be a huge pain in the butt i'm hoping there's a way that i could just set my masterpage to automatically run all text through this thing on any page_load, so that the effect would be site-wide instantly. is this possible? much appreciated for any help
