  • UBJsonReader (Libgdx) unable to to read UBJson from Python(Blender)

    I am working on an export tool from Blender to Libgdx, exports like custom attributes and other information (Almost completed), this is a very cool tool that will speed up a lot your works, after I completed I will send to public to contribute forum, Export format is uses python's Standard Json module and readable text, it of course works fine, but I wanna also have a Binary Json export for faster load, so users can Export Straight to Libgdx, but after I search I found that UBJson with draft9.py (simpleubjson 0.6.1) encode is seems matches with one FBXConverter's UBJsonWriter( Xoppa wrote), but when I export, I am not able to read the file, and send this errors (Java heap space) seems this is a different between byte sizes in UBJson(python) and UBJsonReader. how can I write a correct one in python that matches with Libgdx's UBJsonReader, and would be cross-platform? They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. Initially I thought that for whatever reason the repositories were down, so I switched from the Canada server to the main server. I still got the same error. I also tried installing some things from the ubuntu software center. Funny thing is, that worked fine and I was able to successfully download and install software from the software center, so it seems that only update manager can't access the repositories. I have searched for and found similar cases (relating to ubuntu 12.10), but most of those cases involved ppa's, and I don't use any ppa's. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • Wordpress .htaccess preventing subfolder access

    This is sort of a goofy setup, but it's not in my power to reconfigure it at this time. I'm running in a shared hosting environment. The domain is example.com. This is an add-on domain on the host side with example.com being redirected to the www/example.com sub-directory. That directory houses a standard Wordpress site which acts as the main site when you visit example.com. That subdirectory is /tracker. My problem is that when I attempt to browse to example.com/tracker, I get a 404 from Wordpress because perma links are on. What I think I need is a rewrite rule in the Wordpress .htaccess file that short circuits the existing rewrite rules and permits example.com/tracker to work independently of the Wordpress install. Or a rewrite rule at the root level that short circuits the redirect to the /example.com directory in the first place. Not sure how well I explained that so here's a summary. The www/ directory structure: example.com/ tracker/ Add on domain of www.example.com redirecting to the /example.com directory with Wordpress and a tracker/ directory running CakePHP which I would like to access via www.example.com/tracker. I want it to convert all files to LF and keep the LF on the files. Remark: I used autocrlf = input but this just repairs the files when you commit them. I want to force it to get them using 'LF'.

  • Android app crashes on emulator - logCat shows no errors

    I have just added the SherlockActionBar library to my android project. After some small changes (FragmentActivity - SherlockFragmentActivity, getActionBar() - getSupportActionBar(), imports) it all compiled nicely. After I run the app, however, the debugger stops, as though it had encountered an exception. However, there are no errors shown in the LogCat output. I just can't wrap my head around what's going on.   • Force dual-mono audio (L+L or R+R) in Youtube video playback for one-channel audio movies

    Occasionally, I find Youtube videos that have only one audio channel (only left or only right); example video (left channel only). This is quite annoying, especially with headphones on, as I hear sound in one ear, and no sound in the other. So, I want to be able to easily force dual mono (Left+Left or Right+Right) when I find that kind of video, and switch to normal stereo after I finish watching it. I have my headphones plugged well / I don't create audio/video - I want it for real-time playback only, In Windows audio config, setting balance 100% to Left / Right doesn't help (I have either still only left when moved to left, and no sound at all when moved to right), I've checked all the configurations in Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio > Sound Playback > Advanced like suggested in this post, in conjunction with moving balance left/right, and it doesn't seem to have any impact on actual sound I hear in headphones, No need to mix L with R, I just want L+L or R+R, I prefer software solutions to buying a stereo-to-mono adapter, Free solutions please, no $$$ ones, neither trials etc., In Control Panel > Realtek HD Sound Effect Manager I can turn on various mumbo-jumbo effects like: Concert Hall / Hangar / Bathroom / whatever environment (and in fact it makes the sound appear in two ears, but well, it's ridiculous to do this;), but there is no Dual Mono option. Finally, I know I can force L+L or R+R in VLC Player which supports Youtube (well, a little hack is needed, because Youtube internals change from time to time) but it is not very convenient to launch VLC just to play Youtube video - I want to keep it in the browser, I use Firefox generally (but well, if I don't find easier way, I will launch it in VLC).

  • Linux: Force fsck of a read-only mounted filesystem?

    I'm developing for a headless embedded appliance, running CentOS 6.2. The user can connect a keyboard, but not a monitor, and a serial console would require opening the case, something we don't want the user to have to do. This all pretty much obviates the possibility of using a recovery USB drive to boot from, unless all it does is blindly reimage the harddrive. I would like to provide some recovery facilities, and I have written a tool that comes up on /dev/tty1 in place of getty to provide these functions. One such function is fsck. I have found out how to remount the root and other file systems read-only. Now that they are read-only, it should be safe to fsck them and then reboot. Unfortunately, fsck complains to me that the filesystems are mounted and refuses to do anything. How can I force fsck to run on a read-only mounted partition? Based on my research, this is going to have to be something obscure. "-f" just means to force repair of a clean (but unmounted) partition. I need to repair a clean or unclean mounted partition. From what I read, this is something "only experts" should do, but no one has bothered to explain how the experts do it. I'm hoping someone can reveal this to me. BTW, I've noticed that e2fsck 1.42.4 on Gentoo will let you fsck a mounted partition, even mounted read-write, but it seems only to do so if fsck is run from a terminal, so it can ask the user if they're sure they want to do something so dangerous. I'm not sure if the CentOS version does the same thing, but it appears that fsck CAN repair a mounted partition, but it flatly refuses to when not run from a terminal. One last-resort option is for me to compile my own hacked fsck. But I'm afraid I'll mess it up in some unexpected way. Thanks! Note: Originally posted here.

My question boils down to: How can I force this task to start and end on the same date? Background: In my case, Microsoft Project sets the start date to a Friday at 5pm. As my working hours are set to 8am to 12am and 1pm to 6pm (Mon-Fri), Microsoft Project "splits up" the task at 6pm on Friday and plans to continue it at 8am on the following Monday. However, it does not make any sense to stop the interview on a Friday and restart it on Monday. Therefore the automatic suggestion is not helpful in this case. That's why I'm looking for a way way to force the task to start and end on the very same day. (In my example, I'd like Microsoft Project to delay the start date of the task until Monday 8am as this is the first time slot in which the task "fits in completely".) By the way: I have lots of such cases... for that reason it would be really great if there was a solution that doesn't just deal with this single special case.)

  • The right way of using index.html

    I have quite a lot of issues I'd like to hear your opinion on, so I hope I'll manage to explain it well enough. I should also note that I'm beginner equipped only with the knowledge of HTML and CSS so although I'm almost sure that there is a simple solution using powerful PHP, it won't help me. Let's say that I have my personal blog on the address example.com/blog.html and there are links to several sub-blogs example.com/blog/math.html, example.com/blog/coding.html etc. So my root folder contains blog.html and blog folder, the blog folder itself contains files math.html and coding.html. First of all, I learned (from Google Webmasters Tools) that for SEO and aesthetical purposes it's good to unify example.com.com and example.com/index.html by adding _rel="canonical"_ attribute into the source of the index.html. Using a couple of other tricks (like linking to ../ and ./) I got rid of the ugly index.html appearing in my web addresses. And now I wonder if this trick can be used not only for the root folder but for any folder? I mean, I would move my blog.html into the blog folder, rename it into the index.html and add rel="canonical" to unify example.com/blog/index.html with example.com/blog/. This trick would change the address of my blog from example.com/blog.html into example.com/blog/. Not finished! I'm also experiencing problems with the google robot indexing my folders. So when I type site:example.com/ into the google search, the link to my folder example.com/blog/ with raw files, icons etc. appears among the other results. I guess there are also other ways how to fix it, but IMHO the change mentioned above would do the trick too - the index.html in the blog folder would preserve the user from viewing the actual raw content of that folder, there would appear only the right link example.com/blog/ in the google search and (I hope that) _rel="canonical"_ would make the second, unwanted link example.com/blog/index.html not to appear in the search results. So my questions are: Is it a good practice to have the index.html file in every subfolder or is it intended to be only in the root folder? Are there any disadvantages or problems that may occur when using the second, "index in every folder" method? Which one of the two ways of structuring the website described above would you prefer?
