  • Specifying a flex-config.xml with Maven / Flex Mojos

    I have to port an existing project to Maven, and it includes a resource called "config.xml" that is copied to the deploy directory alongside the SWF and HTML, and loaded at run-time to locate a bunch of WSDLs. Flex Mojos has taken it upon itself to assume that my xml file is a flex-config file with instructions for the compiler, which of course promptly gives up the ghost. The question is: How do I specify a named config file for the compiler so that Maven stops this nonsense (as well as specifying my compile-time options)?

Additionally, it is not provided any examples, just a description of the different tests such as acceptance test, system test, etc. If anyone have made some good and simple test plan for the development of a product and could share, so that I can gain inspiration with example would be very helpful.

  • How do I parse a UTC date format string to local date time?

    I'm currently using the jQuery fullcalendar plugin but I've came across an issue regarding daylight savings time in Britain. After the daylight savings take effect the hours are being displayed an hour out of phase. The problem appears to be with the plugins parsing function. Can someone please provide me with the funciton to parse a UTC string which includes the 'Z' demonination into a local date time for display?

    Hi, I've several web user controls on my asp.net page and I wanna pass values between them. For example : There is a dropDownList in one of them and when user selects any item from dropDownList, it can pass the selected value to the other user control which includes GridView to show related data of selected item value from the user control which contains the dropdownlist.   • Py2exe, PyQt4 and Postgre Driver (QPSQL)

    Hi, I`m trying to freeze my application using Py2exe. My app uses PyQt4 and it apparently works fine with py2exe. But once I`ve uninstalled PyQt, it shows the following error: QSqlDatabase: QPSQL driver not loaded QSqlDatabase: available driver: QPSQL7 QPSQL Which doesn't make sense at all. If PyQt4 is still installed, it works just fine.   • FCKeditor for ASP.NET: file upload size limit

    Hi all, I'm working on an asp.net website written in vb. I embedded fdkeditor in my page, and it works fine. As it includes image-upload feature, which works fine as well, I need to limit the size of the file before it's been uploaded. I wonder I couldn't find anyting satisfactory on web, it seems fckeditor's developers haven't ever thought about that. Has anyone workarounded it? Thanks

  • Parsing a string using a delimiter to a TStringList, seems to also parse on spaces (Delphi)

    I have a simple string which is delimited by some character, let's say a comma. I should be able to create a TStringList and set it's delimiter to a comma then set the DelimitedText to the text I want to parse and it should be automaticlly parsed. The problem is when I look at the output it also includes spaces as delimiters and chops up my results. How can I avoid this, or is there a better way to do this.

    The MSDN documentation tells me the following: The GZipStream class uses the gzip data format, which includes a cyclic redundancy check value for detecting data corruption. The gzip data format uses the same compression algorithm as the DeflateStream class. It seems GZipStream adds some extra data to the output (relative to DeflateStream). I'm wondering, in what type of a scenario would it be essential to use GZipStream and not DeflateStream?

  • Removing Shine/Gloss effect on the iPhone through UIPrerenderedIcon not working on device

    Hello all, I have tried to use the UIPrerenderedIcon/"Icon already includes gloss and bevel" on the Info.plist of my app and it worked perfectly on the Simulator, but not on the real device (iPod touch 2g). I have even tried to uninstall the app from the device, clean all builds but I still got the shine/gloss, that's really ruining my icon... Any thoughts? Best Regards, Muffie

    I wrote a T-SQL query which includes a test for valid EmployeeNo. If the EmployeeNo is not valid, I do the following: RAISERROR(5005, 10, 1, N'Invalid Employee No') return @@Error Back in VB.Net I test the sql exception and found that when the Employee No is invalid the error.number is not 5005 as I would expect, but 2732. What is the explanation for this? Thank you.

  • Building the WAR with m2eclipse in combination with WTP (handling webResources)

    I have a situation where I have a web application that is built using maven (i.e., maven-war-plugin). For each code modification, we have had to manually launch maven and restart the application server. Now, to reduce build cycle overhead, I want to use WTP to publish the webapp. Now, we have resource processing with Maven, and there are some additional Maven tasks defined in our POM when building the webapp. Therefore m2eclipse seems like a natural solution. I have gotten far enough that the Maven builder is running these tasks and filtering resources correctly. However, when I choose "Run on Server", the WAR file does not look like it would if I built it in Maven. I am guessing that this is because WTP actually builds the WAR, and not the m2eclipse builder. So even though we have configured the maven-war-plugin in our POM, those settings are not used. Below is a snippet with our maven-war-plugin configuration.   • Problems with umlauts in python appdata environvent variable

    Hi, I can't find a correct way to get the environment variable for the appdata path in python. The problem is that my user name includes special characters (the german ae and ue). I made a workaround wit PyQt for Vista and Windows 7 but it doesn't work for XP Systems. Does anybody know the correct encoding of these environment variables or another solution for this problem?   • Is there a workaround to the disappearing Perl/Tk text widget scrollbar for right justified content?

    I've come across a bug I believe in Perl/Tk 804.027 Text Widget (using Scrollable('ROText')). When I add a tag that selects all and apply the configuration change to justify to the right, the scrollbars do not show up. If I comment out the tagConfigure where I justify to the right, the scrollbars come back. Does anyone have a workaround or fix for being able to right justify a text widget's contents (includes text and embedded entry widgets) and still have functional horizontal scrollbars?

  • Insert a snippet from a Visual Studio macro

    I have a situation where I want to run a Visual Studio macro that has the user type something in an InputBox, then inserts a snippet and includes that text somewhere in it. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to insert the snippet from macro code. It seems like it'd be something like DTE.ExecuteCommand("Edit.InvokeSnippetFromShortcut") or DTE.ExecuteCommand("Edit.InvokeSnippetFromShortcut", "theSnippetName") but those don't work. Any ideas?
