  I use at work Ubuntu Desktop 12.04. 80% of the time I spend in the terminal. After switching from the putty on gnome terminal, I was unpleasantly surprised to work with some devices (eg Extereme Summit X650): gnome terminal: # Module lldp configuration.   Past my day job, I also have the privilege of being Vice President and Member of the Board of the OpenWonderland Foundation (Formerly Project Wonderland for ex-Sun folks). It's great to see the progress Wonderland is making as the platform-of-choice for open source collaborative 3-D virtual worlds built in Java. The upcoming and first european IE Summit in Madrid will show a number of projects and innovations for virtual and game-based learning. I also dropped Ultan a note after learning about the Gamification of Oracle Apps to see if collaborating with kids and schools is an area we can work together on to improve kids engagement and learning experiences online. • Cannot SSH after resetting firewall on VPS

  I'm having trouble trying to SSH to my Debian 5 VPS with blacknight. It was working fine until I did the following: Logged into 'Parallels Infrastructure Manager' - Container - Firewall - Set to 'Normal Firewall settings'. It told me there was an error with the IPTables and offered the option again with a checkbox to 'reset' firewall settings, I selected this. I can see that that the default rules are been applied ( anything from anyone on any port and allowing anything to happen).   Hi, I need help to figure the regex expression I have string = "STATE changed from [Fixed] to [Closed], CLOSED DATE added [Fri Jan 14 09:32:19 MST 2011], NOTES changed from [CLOSED[]<br />] to [TEST CLOSED <br />]" I need to grab NOTES changed from [CLOSED[]<br />] to [TEST CLOSED <br />] and take values CLOSED[] and TEST CLOSED in two string variables. So far I got to: Regex NotesChanged = new Regex(@"NOTES changed from \[(\w*|\W*)\] to \[([\w-|\W-]*)\]"); which matches only if "NOTES changed from" started at the beginning and has no '[]' within '[ ]', but I have "[CLOSED[]]" and also no "". • Entire website in Silverlight 4. Practical or not?

  Similar question: Using Silverlight for an entire website? That question is over 2 years old. Silverlight has gone a long way from Silverlight 1.0 Beta 1 to Silverlight 4.0 Final. Would it be practical to create a full Silverlight web application these days? I plan to deploy the website sometime around Q1 2011. I have thought about going ASP.NET + AJAX way, but it just won't give me the same rich features as Silverlight. A lot of people when they hear ASP.NET or Silverlight instantly think about business or enterprise applications. But all I want to create is a fansite, with rich user interface and a great "WOW" factor.
