I'm happy to use Javascript/JQuery if there really isn't a pure CSS solution.
Thanks!
So i finally have everything up and running and everyone is mostly happy - TFS 2010 rocks!
However i now want to add office sharepoint, i didn't want to have it installed first because i was worried that it would stuff with things and i wanted to look back on the TFS installation, once i knew how portals were created.
So what is the best way to now add sharepoint to the installation without stuffing things up?
i have a 2 server environment, with TFS on one and the database on another.
I am using a URLConnection class - I want to be able to grab a stream to a given URL even if said URL is unavailable (ie cache the last known cope of the content on a URL, to some local file system dir) - now I have written this code a few times (never happy with it) and was wondering if there is something better out there that might be able to do this.
Hi All,
I am pretty new in developing cocoa applications. I have developed a small UI application using cocoa. I wanted to add some information on about screen, currently it shows the app name and version which is 1.00.
Can any one help me how i can add some information in about screen, is it possible to add information programmatically instead of hard coding it ?
Any help will be appreciated.

Currently I am working and running my first Open-Source project and though I am quite happy how things are working so far, I have the feeling that a lot of things could be done better.
So, what books about Open-Source would you recommend me in order to help filling this gap and making things better every day? What are the books that influenced you the most?
I am especially interested in:
- How to organize and run an Open-Source project
- Best practices
- Manage and involve users and developers
- How to announce and do the releases
- Legal issues
I like the way NCommon saves me from dealing with all the plumbing required to do DDD with NHibernate.
I like it so much that it I am seriously considering it to be part of my default architecture in new projects.
I'd like to ask if there are other DDD alternatives (aside from coding from scratch) to what NCommon does.
Thanks.
how can i insert a TextBlock control in a Hyperlink in c# coding. similar to
<TextBlock> <Hyperlink>a</Hyperlink></textblock in C#. i'm unable to find content property in Hyperlink. Thanks in advance.
Used to be quite happy with the Ctrl+Shift+F10 shortcut in VS2008 to get at the right click menu after typing something that wasn't recognised to quickly resolve it. This doesn't work in VS2010! Anyone know the VS2010 equivalent?

Is there a good analysis of why visual programming languages still haven't taken off? We're still coding these days 'linearly' in a 80x25 text window; while the concepts we represent (data structures, algorithms) seem like they can be more intuitively represented visually.

What is the best way or recommended best practice in the flow of database driven asp.net web application? I mean the database first or coding first or side by side?
I have CCNet setup to talk to our SVN repository, which has it's ACLs setup using Active Directory groups. This is working fine, except I'm not happy with having the user name and password of the AD user stored in plain text on the CCNet instance.
Is there a way to either encrypt the AD username/password, or get the CCNet service (I've tried running the service as the user and removing the the username/password section of the CCNet/SVN config) to use a domain account outside of the standard config?
Different STL containers like vector, stack, set, queue, etc support different access methods on them.
If you are coding for example in Notepad++ or vim, you have to continuously refer to the documentation to see what all methods are available, atleast I have to.
Is there some good way of remembering which container supports which methods??

I'm looking for a jQuery lightbox plugin that has the ability to, with it's next and previous buttons, cycle through images repeatedly. Like a carousel effect.
I've been using jQuery Lightbox Plugin (balupton edition) but that doesn't have the option to continue cycling through images. It reaches the last image in the array and then disables the 'next' button.
So to save me some time coding, what are some plugins you can recommend?
In C# what's the best way to remove blank lines i.e., lines that contain only whitespace from a string? I'm happy to use a Regex if that's the best solution.
