    I have an application which uses ActiveX controls. I want to automate this using Selenium IDE. But when i launch the application i end up in an error message "Turn on you ActiveX control". Is there any way to enable ActiveX in FireFox? Note: I am using User Agent Switcher(as IE7) Addon of firefox to run my application.

    I'm coding a website with: background-color:#070707; That color should be a very dark gray, just the way I see it in photoshop. Now when I launch this in my browser (the background-color is set on the body using CSS, so it's not an exported image), the color is darker than in Photoshop. I know there can be differences when exporting images due to color profiling, but when setting the color code, how can this be different from photoshop? Thanks a lot for helping

    I am receiving a SecurityException since yesterday when I launch the service using signature protection level for permission with the default debug keystore. The strange thing is I wasn't receiving this error before yesterday and I didn't make any security related change. On the other hand, my own keystore using for releases is still working good. In a normal grails app, there is a conf/Config.groovy file for that, but for a plugin there is none. Is there another way to achieve this ?     Hi, I had downloaded and installed the 1.6.9 version of SVN from http://subversion.tigris.org/. After the installation I noticed that if I launch the command "svn" from the terminal, my Mac still uses the old version, the 1.4.4. If i want to use the new version, I need to specify its path, like this: - /opt/subversion/bin/svn commit instead of: - svn commit There is a way to solve this problem and use the new version of the command without typing the entire path? This parameter indicate to my jar wich property file to use in order to setup some configuration. Then the script will zip the results produced by the jar and send them to a location.     Hi, This is a hypothetical question. If one would develop an iPhone/iPad (Universal) odds application, whould apple allow this to the appstore? This application would not let you bet on odds directly, but would collect odds from different odds sites and show them to the user.   • HelloWebView Sample: now using SDK 3 and getting killed

    Hey Folks, Well I was trying to get the HelloWebview example working with SDK 7 with no success (see HelloWebView Sample: java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denial thread), so I decided just out of curiosity to back off to SDK3 to see if I could learn anything. I have been able to get all the "Layout" samples to work and decided to try something a little harder. Unfortunately, I still cannot get the simple HelloWebView app to run. I no longer get a Permission Denial but now the app is getting killed. Killed usually implies that there are not enough resources (memory etc.) for an application to run.... Any thoughts? Are there any other log files I can look at either on my computer or on the emulator? The main.xml, manifest, and console output are below. Let me know if you need more information.     I am about to launch a beta site, and heroku looks like a great option. The only think that is getting me down is that the only search option is $20/mth for the Websolr add-on. I am sure that Websolr is great, but at this very early point in this project, I rather not light up that expense. Are there any free search options to couple with heroku's Blossom (free) plan.     This may be a dumb question but it seems like activateIgnoringOtherApps: may be the only way to activate an app using Cocoa. I have a java app that loads up a Cocoa app and I want the Cocoa app to be activated when this happens. The problem is I do not want to have to launch an intermediate app (some sort of controller) and use this app to activateIgnoringOtherApps: my other Cocoa app. Is there some way to use activateIgnoringOtherApps: to force my Cocoa app to become active?

    I am using OpenIdLogin (with OpenIdButton) control on my login page, I noticed that there are properties "RememberMe", "RememberMeText" and "RememberMeVisible". However I can't get it to work, is there any example? Say, after the user logged on to my site successufully via Google, the user then decided to close the browser. If the user launch a new browser again, the user should not have to type the login/password again, right? Thanks for help
