  • Making a field unavailable to a user with javascript in MS CRM 4

    I am trying to disable a field, i.e. grey it out and not allow the user to select it. To achieve this effect I am currently calling crmForm.all.new_attribute1.disabled = true; crmForm.all.new_attribute2.Disabled = true; The Disable, with a capital D, makes the field grayed out but the user can still put the cursor in that field or tab to it. The disable, with a little d, makes the field unavailable to the cursor and via tab, but gives no visual indication that it can't be interacted with. Is there a better way to do this, one call that will achieve similar results or am I stuck having both there?

  • Keyboard shortcut for Jump to Definition

    I'm looking for a keyboard only shortcut for Jump to Definition. The built-in shortcut requires the mouse: Cmd + Double click. I've tried to add a regular keyboard shorcut for the Edit / Find / Jump to Defintion menu command, but, alas, it will only work when the method name is selected. I'd like to be able to position the cursor within the method name, class name, or other symbol, and hit something like Cmd+Shift+L. Does anyone know of a solution, perhaps using a script, for the problem? Update: The keyboard shortcut works sometimes and sometimes not. When I position the text cursor on a method call with no parameters and press Cmd+Shift+L it takes me to the definition. But it doesn't work for a method that takes an (id) parameter. However it works if the parameter is an int. I have submitted a bug report to Apple.

    I have a table with a bunch of cells. (No way! Amazing! :P) Some of the cells have a small div that when you put your mouse over, it gets bigger so you can read all the text. This works well and all. However, since html elements that come later in the document have a higher z-index, when the div gets bigger it is underneath the other divs in the other cells.     Hi, I have a table in MySql DB which I want to load it to a dictionary in python. the table columns is as follows: id,url,tag,tagCount tagCount is the number of times that a tag has been repeated for a certain url. So in that case I need a nested dictionary, in other words a dictionary of dictionary, to load this table.     We have a third party application running. It shows login dialog when idle for 20 minutes. We need to prevent the application to display login screen. We do not have any idea how idle state is handled internally in that application. We have done the follwoing with no luck. Created an small application in c# which focus it after every 5 minutes (using SetForegroundWindow()) and send a BM_CLICK message to one of its child window. Does not work. focus it after every 5 minutes (using SetForegroundWindow()) and move the cursor few pixels then restore cursor at its previous position. This does not work too! Is there any other way to achieve the goal?

    Say have this piece of code: var marker = new google.maps.Marker({ position: location, title: 'B&#250;fals', map: map }); This creates a marker as expected but if I hover the mouse over it I don’t see 'Búfals' as I would expect (instead I see the html code).   • keypress event not being triggered only at start and end of text field in Firefox (JQuery)

    I'm listening for keypress events on an input field with delegation. For some reason, Firefox doesn't trigger the delegated event for cursor UP when at the start of the field, or cursor DOWN when at the end. LEFT and RIGHT work as expected all the time. Directly binding an event listener to the field works fine, so it has to be something to do with delegation.     I am trying to follow the recommended way of parsing XML with StAX using sun's Cursor-to-Event Example for Java EE 5. You are supposed to traverse the XML via the Cursor API and allocate an XMLEventusing an XMLEventAllocator when necessary. Awkwardly, sun's own example does not compile (at least not with JDK 1.6, even with 1.5 code compliance). The example tries to instantiate an allocator via new, but the according implementation classes in the JDK are not accessible externally. After reading the JavaDocs and searching the web I have found literally nothing. One could implement the XMLEventAllocator interface from scratch, but it seems really wrong, when there are perfectly good implementations in the JDK, besides not being an expert in StAX makes it difficult to get it right.

  • Javascript - Canvas image never appears on first function run

    I'm getting a bit of a weird issue, the image never shows the first time you run the game in your browser, after that you see it every time. If you close your browser and re open it and run the game again, the same issue occurs - you don't see the image the first time you run it. Here's the issue in action, just hit a wall and there's no image the first time on the end game screen. Any help would be appreciated.
