  • sub menu border calls onmouseout event

    I've created a simple menu and submenu with tags(not allowed to use ul elements). To access the submenu the user hovers their mouse over the menu item. I use the onmouseover and onmouseout events to either show or hide the sub menu depending on which item is selected. A pipe (|) is used to seperate each submenu item and this is what is causing me problems. When a user hovers their mouse above the pipe character the subMenu div calls the onmouseout event which is not what I want. So I added padding around the pipe character and a minus margin so that there were no gaps between the pipe character and the other elements. This worked for all browsers including IE8.   • Documenting auto-generated code

    Hello, I use code-generation for my data access layer and Doxygen for documentation. My problem is that I can't add Xml comments on the generated classes since they will be overwritten as soon as I re-generate the code. To be more precise I can add Xml comments to my custom methods (which are in a separate file as partial classes) but I can't do it on data properties. Any suggestions?

    Hi, I have need to communicate between two iframes of the same domain, which live inside a parent page on a different domain that I have no control over. This is a Facebook app and the basic layout is this apps.facebook.com/myapp L iframe1 (src='mysite.com/foo') L iframe2 (src='mysite.com/bar') I need frame1 to talk to frame2, but in Opera I can't access window.parent.frames['frame2'] to do the usual cross-domain methods (updating location.hash for example) Is there an alternate way to accomplish this in Opera?     Just curious if I am overlooking something simple here. I have deployed the remote_form_for in the show.html.erb code before to render comments on a post (project in this case) without a problem. I have moved this code to the index view and seems to degrade to the normal form_for action (page refresh). I am not getting any javascript errors so not sure what is wrong here.     I have a simple blogging functionality in my Rails 3 app. I am trying to add commenting to each post. The BlogComment model has a property, blog_post_id, to be able to find the corresponding comments for each post. I already setup my associations in the model, I also nested BlogComments under BlogPost in the routes file. However, I can't figure out how to give each BlogPost access to its respective comments through the controller so that they can be shown later in the view.
