  Redirect has been widely discussed and most problems solved, so I am sorry for opening yet another post about this, but none of the codes I am trying work. I have a WordPress site hosted in http://mydomain.com/clientsdomain.com/wordpress I would like to temporarily redirect http://clientsdomain.com/ to the abovementioned URL, maintaining the clientsdomain.com domain in the URL. So for example http://clientsdomain.com/some/page would be pointing to http://mydomain.com/clientsdomain.com/wordpress/some/page Is this even possible with .htaccess? Maybe som configuration or plugin option with WordPress?

  We currently have domain.com/username redirected to domain.com/setsession.asp?u=username which then redirects to the app at domain.com/theapp. This means users always see domain.com/theapp, so browsing to a page shows domain.com/theapp/somepage.asp Looking to move this to subdomains ie username.domain.com (we'll get the host name and work out the user from that). How can this be set up? Should we move the app itself to say theapp.domain.com and then rewrite username.domain.com to theapp.domain.com and everything works? If thats right, how can we do the URL rewrite (mod_rewrite via ISAPI Rewrite for IIS or URL Rewriting for IIS) so that we can still access webmail.domain.com, etc?

I am trying to use drupal's quiz module ( http://drupal.org/project/quiz ) Basically everyone answer, in every question, in a quiz will have some particular weightage. Say answer 1 will have 2 marks, ans two will have 3 marks, answer 3 will have 4 marks.. and so on. Eventually all these get added up and the result is shown according to the final tally of marks. Can anyone show me the steps as to how to make such quizzes using the quiz module or some other module/method..

  My environment is Ubuntu 12.04, Nginx 1.20, and Torquebox 2.0.3 which is actually JBoss AS 7. I have two app deployed on Torquebox, it listens to 8080 and have different hostnames, app1.mydomain.com and app2.mydomain.com. I added 127.0.0.1 app1.mydomain.com and 127.0.0.1 app2.mydomain.com in /etc/hosts then I curl app1.mydomain.com:8080 and curl app2.mydomain.com:8080 both have correct return. Then I go to my nginx.   Hi, I have a website let's say www.example.com and I have a subdomain something.example.com Both main domain and sub domain are pointing to directory "public_html" I have .htaccess on root which redirects any URL without www to www. For e.g. if user enters example.com then he will be redirected to www.example.com If user enters example.com/mypage.html then he will be redirected to www.example.com/mypage.html Now the problem is this is also affecting my subdomain. Because if someone enters something.example.com/visit.html then he is redirect to www.example.com/visit.html I don't want this! If user enters subdomain then I don't want to redirected to www domain.   tldr version: Renamed domain from internal.domain.com to domain.com, have 4 SPNs that am unable to remove from DC. So my domain was internal.domain-name.com and I renamed it to domain-name.com and I thought everything was good. Several days later, I start setting up my RD Gateway and am noticing issues surrounding group policy. I run dcdiag and the SystemLog part fails. Starting test: SystemLog A warning event occurred. I found four which I remove by: setspn -D E3514235-4B06-11D1-AB04-00C04FC2DCD2/d79fa59c-74ad-4610-a5e6-b71866c7a157/internal.domain-name.com ServerName setspn -D HOST/ServerName.domain-name.com/internal.domain-name.com ServerName setspn -D GC/ServerName.domain-name.com/internal.domain-name.com ServerName setspn -D ldap/ServerName.domain-name.com/internal.domain-name.com ServerName Also, checking my dns records, there's an internal subdomain that I can delete but it comes back as well. I've tried removing the spns to no avail. Is there something I'm missing?

• Can exim be configured to send all emails externally?

  How do I configure exim4 to route all emails via a third-party SMTP server when the sender's domain, recipient's domain, and server hostname all match? I followed this great answer and have exim4 sending emails to addresses at other domains tested and working from an Ubuntu server. My only issue is that emails where both the sender and recipient share the same domain as the server hostname, they never leave the server (and this is the expected behavior). For example, sending from test@example.com -- test@example2.com works fine, but sending from account1@example.com -- account2@example.com just routes the mail locally to /var/mail/account2, without passing through the third-party SMTP server. I'm using Google Apps at my own domain and want to send emails from server@example.com to me@example.com from a machine with the hostname example.com. I want to route them through Google's SMTP server so I see them in my other email clients. Is this possible? Very similar questions (but for postfix) here and here.

For instance I want to create subdomain2.subdomain1.mydomain.com I have my subdomain1.mydomain.com site in /home/USER/public_html and it is working just fine. But When I try to create subdomain2.subdomain1.mydomain.com, it says Server not found in the browser. I have tried so many configurations in my /etc/hosts and /etc/apache2/sites-available/subdomain2.subdomain1.mydomain.com, without any luck Can I get some detailed instructions maybe?   I have three websites hosted (example1.com, example2.com, example3.com) on a server. There is a page (test.php) on example1.com with just code below inside it: <?php header('Location:http://example2.com/a.php'); ?> When I browse test.php it goes to http://example1.com/a.php . it doesn't understand it is another domain url, it tried to find the page on itself. but when I put http://google.com instead of example2.com/a.php it works correct.   I am reverse proxying one site to another site. It's working nicely, but on some links it displays the original link. I think I've missed some thing to add in configuration file but I can't figure it out.

  My client wants to create email addresses for all their dotnetnuke users using their domain. The point is to keep the user's email addresses 'private' while still allowing communication through a public email address that they can control. It's not necessary to have a full webmail interface (although that would be nice). I'm thinking it would be enough just to forward any mail on and just act as a gateway. So if an email was sent to rwain@mydomain.com, it would be forwarded on to the email address associated with the dotnetnuke account with username 'rwain'. Is this possible to do in a shared hosting environment? Or do I need to create some custom mail server that does a conversion of the email address and forwards it?

  All. I'm trying to use my old dll file on .net project. So I converted this unmanaged COM object to managed one by using [tlbimp.exe] util from Windows SDK. However, one method returns a Object as a return value, but whenever I try to use it, my program generates an error. The weird thing is below: //Object[] item = s.GetObjects(); //this generates an type error Object item = s.GetObjects(); //this works okay System.WriteLine(items); //prints System.Object[] rather than System.Object. It seems like it returns a pointer which contains an object array. Isn't it ? Please anyone tell me how to handle this, and is there any documentation for this issue ?
