    I have inside a controller PostLogicController.cs public ActionResult GetCreateNormalPost() { return PartialView("CreateNormalPost", null); } CreateNormalPost is inside the folder Post (which belongs to another post controller). How do I go about returning the CreateNormalPost.ascx? My folders are structured as follows: Controllers PostController.cs PostLogicController.cs Views Post Index.aspx CreateNormalPost.ascx There is no folder for PostLogicController.

    I have something like this in one of my views <li <?php $isCurrent ? echo 'class="current"' : ''?> > <a href="SOME_LINK" class="SOME_CLASS">SOME_TEXT</a> </li> This causes a syntax error, unexpected T_ECHO. Changing echo for print solves the issue, but I would like to understand why I cannot use echo.

    I'm building a django app and I can't get the templates to see the CSS files... My settings.py file looks like: MEDIA_ROOT = os.path.join(os.path.abspath(os.path.dirname(__file__)), 'media') MEDIA_URL = '/media/' I've got the CSS files in /mysite/media/css/ and the template code contains: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/media/css/site_base.css" />` then, in the url.py file I have: # DEVELOPMENT ONLY (r'^media/(?P<path>.*)$', 'django.views.static.serve', {'document_root': '/media'}), but the development server serves the plain html (without styles). What am I doing wrong?

    Hi, when using scaffolding on a controller the views render fine and the app even attempts to insert the data; the problem is that the scaffold is completely ignoring the relations I'm defining in my model class, in fact it's ignoring the class entirely as I can delete the file and the controller still scaffolds and render the crud from the table.     I'm using the TTThumbsViewController section of the three20 framework, and I have the status bar hidden throughout my application. When the user views the full size image, taps the screen(hiding the controls), when they tap again the controls reappear but the status bar is there too. I've searched through the whole library and been unable to isolate the section where this is happening. I'd love it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks, BB

Currently i have a single view representing just one player. I'm currently using a Rijndael encryption/decryption method through c# however this is making the encrypted names too long to be passed in a post. Is there a better way to get decent encrypted names? my purpose is to have the names encrypted before the post happens so if someone views the code behind the names are already encrypted.

    When I'm designing multiple views under the MVVM pattern, does each view get its own ViewModel or do they all share the same one? I understand that this is ultimately a flexible decision, but what is the best practice? My gut tells me to have a ViewModel for each view (i.e. each separate UI window). All of the blog examples of MVVM show a single view but not much beyond that.

    We are moving from WebForms to MVC and and using a lot of jQuery. I appears we have a lot of jQuery/JavaScript in our Views, is this common and are there any concerns about security. The obvious step is to refactor into plugins and more generic UserControls etc, but this jQuery would still be "visible" by looking at js files etc. We are validating everything on the server-side anyway but should we be concerned?
