    Hi, I am using REXML to edit an xml file but have ran into difficulties with formatting. I found the following via google: REXML::Attribute.class_eval( %q^ def to_string %Q[#@expanded_name="#{to_s().gsub(/"/, '&quot;')}"] end ^ ) I also have a problem in that REXML is reformatting the document. are there ways to stop this?   • Linux - How do i know the block map of the given file and/or the free space map of the partition.

    Hello, I am on Linux and need to know either of the two things: 1) If i have a regular file on some file system on a partition under Linux is there a way to know the set of the physical blocks that this file occupies on the drive from user space? Or at least the set of the file system's clusters? 2) Is there a way to get the same information about the whole free space of the given file system? In both cases i understand that if there is any possible way to extract this info it will probably be totally unsafe and racy (anything could happen to these set of blocks between the time i see them and act on them somehow). I also really don't want an implementation that will have to know a lot about every filesystem.

    I have a DIV where some code is presented. When I hover on this DIV I want to present a button that toggles the comments inside the code block. So far I have this: $('.code-block').hover( function(){ $(this).prepend('<span class="code-block-control">toggle comments</span>'); }, function(){ $('.code-block-control',this).remove(); } ); $('.code-block-control').click( function(){ $('.comment').toggle(); } ); The span is presented when I hover over the code block. But when I click the span that is created nothing happens. Even if I change the click function to a simple alert nothing happens. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this.

  • I have a BHO in c++ and i need to block some keyboard controls (Ctrl-o) in a i-frame.

    I need to know of a way to prevent the user to 'open a new url' (with Ctrl-o) as soon as he has the focus on my sidebar (right-sided iframe). In fact, my sidebar offers some controls and the user should not be able to 'navigate' to other website through the sidebar. I'm using a bho in C++ using ATL(active template library), but maybe if anyone knows of a simplier way like in JS(javascript) or PHP(Hypertext Preprocessor) ? Any ideas is appreciated.   • Processing an n-ary ANTLR AST one child at a time

    I currently have a compiler that uses an AST where all children of a code block are on the same level (ie, block.children == {stm1, stm2, stm3, etc...}). I am trying to do liveness analysis on this tree, which means that I need to take the value returned from the processing of stm1 and then pass it to stm2, then take the value returned by stm2 and pass it to stm3, and so on. I do not see a way of executing the child rules in this fashion when the AST is structured this way. Is there a way to allow me to chain the execution of the child grammar items with my given AST, or am I going to have to go through the painful process of refactoring the parser to generate a nested structure and updating the rest of the compiler to work with the new AST?   • Get a CSS value from external style sheet with Javascript/jQuery

    Is it possible to get a value from the external CSS of a page if the element that the style refers to has not been generated yet? (the element is to be generated dynamically). The jQuery method I've seen is $('element').css('property','value');, but this relies on element being on the page. Is there a way of finding out what the property is set to within the CSS rather than the computed style of an element? Will I have to do something ugly like add a hidden copy of the element to my page so that I can access its style attributes?

    First let me state that I'm a jquery noob, so this may not make a lot of sense. So I have a series of list items that expand to show a hidden div inside if the user mouses over a link inside the item (not the whole list item itself) The problem is that if the users mouse leaves the link the li closes up again. I need this to work in a way so that the li only closes if you mouse over a link in another li.     Hi, I am playing with the Demo SoftKeyboard the comes with the Android SDK. In portrait mode when the candidate view is shown, it doesn't move the app up as the default android keyboard does. Hence it covers part of the application view. What should be changed in order to make the candidate view in the demo softkeyboard behave as the default android keyboard does? I've also looked at the source of the android keyboard from git but found nothing related to this behavior.
