  Hello, i went thru lots and lots of searchs and results and pages considering this matter but havent found the solution yet. Like i described in the title i want to decrypt data using my Public Key which is something i am able to do with my PHP code, my certificate is generated from my PHP page. • Avoid richfaces to send back javascript libraries in the ajax responses

  I'm using JSF 1.2 with Richfaces, and for every ajax request, the server is sending back the response, whichi is good, but it also contains all the links to the javascript files. I want to improve the performance so I just want the <body> to be returned, because all the javascript files are already loaded in the browser when the user logs in (my app is not restful). How can i do that?   When using DataContractJsonSerializer to serialize a dictionary, like so: [CollectionDataContract] public class Clazz : Dictionary<String,String> {} .... var c1 = new Clazz(); c1["Red"] = "Rosso"; c1["Blue"] = "Blu"; c1["Green"] = "Verde"; Serializing c1 with this code: var dcjs = new DataContractJsonSerializer(c1.GetType()); var json = new Func<String>(() => { using (var ms = new System.IO.MemoryStream()) { dcjs.WriteObject(ms, c1); return Encoding.ASCII.GetString(ms.ToArray()); } })(); ...produces this JSON: [{"Key":"Red","Value":"Rosso"}, {"Key":"Blue","Value":"Blu"}, {"Key":"Green","Value":"Verde"}] But, this isn't a Javascript associative array. If I do the corresponding thing in javascript: produce a dictionary and then serialize it, like so: var a = {}; a["Red"] = "Rosso"; a["Blue"] = "Blu"; a["Green"] = "Verde"; // use utility class from http://www.JSON.org/json2.js var json = JSON.stringify(a); The result is: {"Red":"Rosso","Blue":"Blu","Green":"Verde"} How can I get DCJS to produce or consume a serialized string for a dictionary, that is compatible with JSON2.js ? I know about JavaScriptSerializer from ASP.NET. Not sure if it's very WCF friendly. Does it respect DataMember, DataContract attributes?

  I am using this code for Page curl effect ....Its work fine in simulator and device... • How to convert an NSString to hex values

  I'd like to convert a regular NSString into an NSString with the (what I assume are) ASCII hex values and back. I need to produce the same output that the Java methods below do, but I can't seem to find a way to do it in Objective-C. I've found some examples in C and C++ but I've had a hard time working them into my code. • Android: Map Overlay Labels

  I am building a MapView and I want my custom overlay items to display the name of the location they are marking when the user taps them, like the Android Maps app. I setup the onTap listener and the floating TextView to hold the location name. I still need to set it up so that it redraws the label when the user moves the map, etc. Anyway, I am wondering if I am reinventing the wheel here. Is there a built-in method I am unaware of? I would think that most implementations of MapView have labels. • Specifying the bounce-back address for email

  I'm having a problem getting emails to bounce to a specific email address, different to the From address. A particular client requires that we send emails from a specific email address (call it [email protected]). Our Exchange admins have created an account on the Exchange box so that we can log in and send from that address. Our Exchange server is spoofing that address / domain. This works fine. Unfortunately the emails sent from [email protected] are not bouncing back to us. They are presumably bouncing back to the contact account at clientcompany.com (which may or may not exist). I've inserted a header [email protected] with the assumption that this field determines where bouncebacks are sent. Other documents indicate that this field should never be populated by the originating SMTP system. Other websites again talk about a field called Errors-To which is apparently non-standard. So - which field is the correct one, and what does it depend on? Any ideas why my Return-Path is not working? I'd really like to get Exchange to correctly bounce a message addressed to an invalid server! update: Continuing to dig, and my Return-Path work was only adding an extended property at the end of the header block, but Exchange appears to be still adding its own Return-Path value at the top. Delivered-To: [email protected] Received: by 1.1.1.1 with SMTP ... Return-Path: <[email protected]> Received: from ... ... ... Subject: Test Message-ID: ... Return-Path: [email protected] According to the Microsoft.com, I cannot set the Return-Path as it is determined by the MAIL FROM - which seems consistent with what I've previously read.   I manage a group of programmers. I do value my employees opinion but lately we've been divided as to which framework to use on web projects. I personally favor MooTools, but some of my team seems to want to migrate to jQuery because it is more widely adopted. That by itself is not enough for me to allow a migration.   Yes, this is not programming related but please bear with me =). I run a small niche SaaS business. Lately I've been thinking of traveling and experiencing life in other places. Would really appreciate suggestions for good places a developer could relocate to. In particular I'm looking for a place that: Has good internet connection (cheap stable broadband, lots of places that provide free wifi, etc.) Low cost of living (rent and food fairly cheap). At least half of the population speak English. Has a local courier agent (DHL, Fedex, any...). The government allows for extended stay of foreigners. I'm thinking of staying for about 6 months at each location and maybe doing it for 3 years. So looking for 5 to 6 locations in total. So if any of you think you're staying in a place that would be great for a visiting developer then please shout out. Include as detailed a description as possible. And include any cons about the place if there are. The only place that pops to mind right now is Bali =). Isle of Skye also seems interesting but I think immigration is tight and cost of living would definitely be higher. Thanks in advance for suggestions =)

  I am writing a program to convert some data, mainly a bunch of Tiff images. Some of the Tiffs seems to have a minor problem with them. They show up fine in some viewers (Irfanview, client's old system) but not in others (Client's new system, Window's picture and fax viewer). I have manually looked at the binary data and all the tags seem ok. Can anyone recommend an app that can analyze it and tell me what, if anything, is wrong with it? Also, for clarity sake, I'm only converting the data about the images which is stored seperately in a database and copying the images, I'm not editting the images myself, so I'm pretty sure I'm not messing them up. According to IBM's website: What character conversion issues must my program deal with? The IBM i database uses EBCDIC to store text. Java uses Unicode.   I am working on a cherrypy+cheetah app and would like to improve the development experience. I have everything working when I manually compile templates beforehand. However, during development I'd rather just load the templates every time they are referenced so that I don't need to kill and restart my application. I have a couple of issues I am facing: If I have templates inheriting from base templates, I get import errors (can't find base templates). I think I had this actually working during my experiments, but unfortunately didn't save it and now I can't make it work. Suppose I get 1. working, how do make it so that edits even in base templates get picked up without restart. Below is my sample application that should demonstrate the problems.   Hi All, I'm trying to animating across the screen a horizontal bar with a color gradient. For simplicity, I chose to make a png of the fully extended bar, assign it to a UIImageView, and (attempt to) animate resizing of it using a UIView animation. The problem is that in the "closed" state of the Image, the portion of the image showing is not the part that I want. The image is arranged so that from L to R, a white to red color gradient occurs. The right side (about 20 pixels) is solid red and is the part I want to show when the bar is "collapsed". I'm trying to extend the image out by about 100 pixels to its full width. • Versioning freindly, extendible binary file format

  In the project I'm currently working on there is a need to save a sizeable data structure to disk. Being in optimist I thought their must be a standard solution for such a problem however upto now I haven't found a solution that satisfies the following requirements: .net 2.0 support, preferably with a foss implementation version friendly (this should be interpreted as reading an old version of the format should be relatively simple if the changes in the underlying data structure are simple, say adding/dropping fields) ability to do some form of random access where part of the data can be extended after initial creation (think of this as extending intermediate results) space and time efficient (xml has been excluded as option given this requierement) Options considered so far: Protocol Buffers : was turned down by verdict of the documentation about Large Data Sets since this comment suggest adding another layer on top, this would call for additional complexity which I wish to have handled by the file format itself. HDF5,EXI : do not seem to have .net implementations SQLite : the data structure at hand would result in a pretty complex table structure that seems to heavyweight for the intended use BSON : does not appear to support requirement 3. Fast Infoset : only seems to have buyware .net implementations Any recommendations or pointers are greatly appreciated. Furthermore if you believe any of the information above is not true please provide pointers/examples to proove me wrong.

• How to arrange models, views, controllers in a new Kohana 3 project

  I'm looking at how to set up a mid-sized web application with Kohana 3. I have implemented MVC patterns in the past but never worked against a "formalized" MVC framework so I'm still getting my head around the terminology - toying around with basic examples, building views and templates, and so on. I'm progressing fairly well but I want to set up a real-world web project (one of my own that I've been planning for quite some time now) as a learning object. Example-based documentation is a bit sparse for Kohana 3 right now - they say so themselves on the site. While I'm not worried about learning the framework soon enough, I'm a bit at a loss on how to arrange a healthy code base from the start - i.e. how to split up controllers, how to name them, and how to separate the functionality into the appropriate models. My application could, in its core, be described as a business directory with a main businesses table. Businesses can be listed by category and by street name. Each business has a detail page. Business owners can log in and edit their business's entry. Businesses can post offers into an offers table. I know this is pretty vague, I'll be more than happy to go into more detail on request. Supposing I have all the basic functionality worked out and in place already - list all businesses, edit business, list businesses by street name, create offer, and so on, and I'm just looking for how to fit the functionality into a Kohana application structure that can be easily extended: Do you know real-life, publicly accessible examples of applications built on Kohana 3 where I could take a peek how they do it? Are there conventions or best practices on how to structure an extendable login area for end users in a Kohana project that is not only able to handle a business directory page, but further products on separate pages as well? Do you know application structuring HOWTOs or best practices for Kohana 3 not mentioned in the user guide and the inofficial Wiki? Have you built something similar and could give me some recommendations?

• OleDBDataAdapter UNPIVOT Query not working with Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 DataSource

  I am reading in an excel file with an OleDBDataAdapter. I am using a select statement to UNPIVOT the data and insert into DataSet. • Generating %pc relative address of constant data

  Is there a way to have gcc generate %pc relative addresses of constants? Even when the string appears in the text segment, arm-elf-gcc will generate a constant pointer to the data, load the address of the pointer via a %pc relative address and then dereference it. For a variety of reasons, I need to skip the middle step. As an example, this simple function: const char * filename(void) { static const char _filename[] __attribute__((section(".text"))) = "logfile"; return _filename; } generates (when compiled with arm-elf-gcc-4.3.2 -nostdlib -c -O3 -W -Wall logfile.c): 00000000 <filename>: 0: e59f0000 ldr r0, [pc, #0] ; 8 <filename+0x8> 4: e12fff1e bx lr 8: 0000000c .word 0x0000000c 0000000c <_filename.1175>: c: 66676f6c .word 0x66676f6c 10: 00656c69 .word 0x00656c69 I would have expected it to generate something more like: filename: add r0, pc, #0 bx lr _filename.1175: .ascii "logfile\000" The code in question needs to be partially position independent since it will be relocated in memory at load time, but also integrate with code that was not compiled -fPIC, so there is no global offset table.
