    Hi, I am searching for a utility/code that could detect and let me know if my 1 minute wav file contains sound or not ? Other way, if it could detect the duration of the silence(if exists) at any position in the wav file, that would also server the purpose. Does SOX support any command for that ? I tried with Java, but didnt found anything in JMF. Thanks Vivek

  • QTreeWidget set height of each row depending on content

    Hi everyone, I want to make editable cells with multi-lines content in QTreeWidget and I use for this purpose QPlainTextEdit as a delegate. I need to set proper size to all rows that switching between editing and displaying went smooth, without any visible changes. rect = textEdit.blockBoundingRect(textEdit.firstVisibleBlock()) with this I can find out the height I need to set for the row, but I missing the place where I can do it. How can i set proper height to QTreeWidget's rows on initialization stage? Thank you in advance, Serge

    I've a few lines of code within a project, that I can't see the value of... buffer[i] = (currentByte & 0x7F) | (currentByte & 0x80); It reads the filebuffer from a file, stored as bytes, and then transfers then to buffer[i] as shown, but I can't understand what the overall purpose is, any ideas?     Hi, In the application I am developing, I would like to send messages in the form of JSON objects to a Django Server and parse the JSON response from the server and populate a custom listview. From the little JSON knowledge I have, I thought this format for the response from server { "post": { "username": "someusername", "message": "this is a sweet message", "image": "http://localhost/someimage.jpg", "time": "present time" }, } How much knowledge of JSON should I have to accomplish this purpose?     I want to convert HTML to PDF on an iOS Device... ...but I dont want to load my HTML in a UIWebView, take a snapshot and generate an ugly PDF from this snapshot picture...because the text must be selectable for my purpose. I wonder how Apps like Save2PDF or Adobe® CreatePDF are able to converting multiple files into PDF and save them. I guess they don't generate the PDF's by their own, but get them from Apples Printing Framework. How does this Apps work?

    We have used Google form, Wufoo form to try to securely capture the info for IN-HOUSE processing. Google form is unreliable and often blocked behind firm's firewall. Wufoo does not allow storing CC info in their database What is service or other alternative for us to securely store the cc info. The purpose is to have people manually process the registration. Once the payment goes through, we notify the customer and remove the CC info from our database.

  • Would it be possible to speed up Android Emulator by removing unnecessary apps\

    I am using Android SDK 1.6 and developing some simple apps. It seems everytime Android Emulator loads every default apps, like message music browser etc... I guess this cause the booting process slow (takes 1 minute overhead for me to test the code every time). Would it be possible to take these apps out and just have my apps on the emulator? My purpose is to have a faster boot up time on emulator. Thanks.

Ethereal/Wireshark Nmap any particular simulators (e.g. ns) any special purpose sniffer any particular frameworks, (e.g. iptables) I am looking at must have, and good/advantage to have tools/framework in ones profile/skill set. I think Wireshark and Nmap are must haves.

    It seems that the out of the box approve/reject buttons in SharePoint CMS try to direct you to an InfoPath form. We have implemented custom .aspx pages that we use for our workflow approval process and would like it to show these when a user clicks the buttons. Currently we get an error that the formURN cannot be found. Can I affect the url that is shown when the approve/reject buttons are clicked or Can I hide those buttons and provide my own buttons/functionality for that purpose Thanks for any suggestions

My question: is it possible have a subquery in the from clause using HQL.   • Zend Mail - bouncing mails not returning to the specified "Return-Path"

    Hi, i'm working on a simple mail list app in PHP using Zend Mail. The idea is that all mail that bounce is redirected to a script which processes them and a report is generated. The script is running ok in direct tests, but I've testing it with fake mail address to test the mail list app, and it appears that the mail is not being redirected to the correct email address. Zend Mail provides the setReturnPath method to set the "Return-Path" header, it's ok to use this header for this purpose? Thanks
