• Apache load balancer limits with Tomcat over AJP

    - by PAS
    Hi All, I have Apache acting as a load balancer in front of 3 Tomcat servers. Occasionally, Apache returns 503 responses, which I would like to remove completely. All 4 servers are not under significant load in terms of CPU, memory, or disk, so I am a little unsure what is reaching it's limits or why. 503s are returned when all workers are in error state - whatever that means. Here are the details: Apache config: <IfModule mpm_prefork_module> StartServers 30 MinSpareServers 30 MaxSpareServers 60 MaxClients 200 MaxRequestsPerChild 1000 </IfModule> ... <Proxy *> AddDefaultCharset Off Order deny,allow Allow from all </Proxy> # Tomcat HA cluster <Proxy balancer://mycluster> BalancerMember ajp://10.176.201.9:8009 keepalive=On retry=1 timeout=1 ping=1 BalancerMember ajp://10.176.201.10:8009 keepalive=On retry=1 timeout=1 ping=1 BalancerMember ajp://10.176.219.168:8009 keepalive=On retry=1 timeout=1 ping=1 </Proxy> # Passes thru track. or api. According to Apache's server status, it seems to be maxing out at 143 requests/sec. I believe the servers can handle substantially more load than they are, so any hints about low default limits or other reasons why this setup would be maxing out would be greatly appreciated.

  • Python 2 dict_items.sort() in Python 3

    - by DaveWeber
    I'm porting some code from Python 2 to 3. This is valid code in Python 2 syntax: def print_sorted_dictionary(dictionary): items=dictionary.items() items.sort() In Python 3, the dict_items have no method 'sort' - how can I make a workaround for this in Python 3?

  • Un-failing over a Cisco PIX 515e

    - by ABrown
    We had a power outage at our data center last week and when our dual PIX 515E running IOS 7.0(8) (configured with a failover cable) came back, they were in a failed over state where the Secondary unit is active and the Primary unit is standby I have tried 'failover reset', 'failover active', and 'failover reload-standby' as well as executing reloads on both units in a variety of orders, and they don't come back Primary/Active Secondary/Standby. The only thing in my arsenal that I haven't tried is driving to the data center and performing a hard reboot, which I hate to do. I have read How Failover Works on the Cisco Secure Firewall and it seems like this should be wicked straight forward. output of show failover on Primary: Failover On Cable status: Normal Failover unit Primary Failover LAN Interface: N/A - Serial-based failover enabled Unit Poll frequency 15 seconds, holdtime 45 seconds Interface Poll frequency 15 seconds Interface Policy 1 Monitored Interfaces 2 of 250 maximum Version: Ours 7.0(8), Mate 7.0(8) Last Failover at: 02:52:05 UTC Mar 10 2010 This host: Primary - Standby Ready Active time: 0 (sec) Interface outside (x.x.x.165): Normal Interface inside (y.y.y.3): Normal Other host: Secondary - Active Active time: 897045 (sec) Interface outside (x.x.x.164): Normal Interface inside (y.y.y.4): Normal Stateful Failover Logical Update Statistics Link : Unconfigured. output of show failover on Secondary: Failover On Cable status: Normal Failover unit Secondary Failover LAN Interface: N/A - Serial-based failover enabled Unit Poll frequency 15 seconds, holdtime 45 seconds Interface Poll frequency 15 seconds Interface Policy 1 Monitored Interfaces 2 of 250 maximum Version: Ours 7.0(8), Mate 7.0(8) Last Failover at: 02:03:04 UTC Feb 28 2010 This host: Secondary - Active Active time: 896925 (sec) Interface outside (x.x.x.164): Normal Interface inside (y.y.y.4): Normal Other host: Primary - Standby Ready Active time: 0 (sec) Interface outside (x.x.x.165): Normal Interface inside (y.y.y.3): Normal Stateful Failover Logical Update Statistics Link : Unconfigured. I'm not exactly sure how to interpret that syslog data. Primary doesn't seem to even try to become Active. When I reload the individual units separately, my connections are retained, so it doesn't seem like I have a real hardware failure. Is there something I can query (IOS or SNMP) to check for hardware issues? Any thoughts? My IOS-fu is weak. Thanks for any help you might provide, Aaron

  • Deserializing a complex JSON result (array of dictionaries) with TouchJSON

    - by jpm
    I did a few tests with TouchJSON last night and it worked pretty well in general for simple cases. I'm using the following code to read some JSON content from a file, and deserialize it: NSString *jsonString = [[NSString alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:@"data.json"]; NSData *jsonData = [jsonString dataUsingEncoding:NSUTF32BigEndianStringEncoding]; NSError *error = nil; NSDictionary *items = [[CJSONDeserializer deserializer] deserializeAsDictionary:jsonData error:&error]; NSLog(@"total items: %d", [items count]); NSLog(@"error: %@", [error localizedDescription]); That works fine if I have a very simple JSON object in the file (i.e. a dictionary): {"id": "54354", "name": "boohoo"} This way I was able to get access to the array of values, as I wanted to get the item based on its index within the list: NSArray *items_list = [items allValues]; NSString *name = [items_list objectAtIndex:1]; (I understand that I could have fetched the name with the dictionary API) Now I would like to deserialize a semi-complex JSON string, which represents an array of dictionaries. An example of such a JSON string is below: [{"id": "123456", "name": "touchjson"}, {"id": "3456", "name": "bleh"}] When I try to run the same code above against this new content in the data.json file, I don't get any results back. My NSLog() call says "total items: 0", and no error is coming back in the NSError object. Any clues on what is going on? I'm completely lost on what to do, as there isn't much documentation available for TouchJSON, and much less usage examples.

  • How do I add a toolbar to a region with ExtJS

    - by gargantaun
    I have a border layout in ExtJS, The north region contains some HTML, but also needs to contain a toolbar like this... So i've managed to get the border layout set up, added the html to the North Region of the layout, but I can't find any workable examples of how to implement a tool bar. I have found lot's of examples of toolbars on their own, but I've not got the luxury or learning ExtJs thoroughly so it's all greek to me. I suspect there's a way to define a tool bar outside of the cumbersome JSON style flow of creating a layout and somehow attaching it to the region, and I'm hoping it's relativley simple to do. If someone can explain how I'd do this, it would really help. Here's the code so far... //make sure YOUR path is correct to this image!! Ext.BLANK_IMAGE_URL = '../../ext-2.0.2/resources/images/default/s.gif'; //this runs on DOM load - you can access all the good stuff now. Ext.onReady(function(){ var viewport = new Ext.Viewport({ layout: "border", border: false, renderTo: Ext.getBody(), items: [ // ------------------------------------------------------------------ { region: "north", id : "toolbar-area", xtype: 'panel', html: [ "
", "

", "
", "
Logout
", "
Gazeteer Home
", "
Hello Rachel
", "
", "", "
" ], /* ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ */ /* The toolbar needs to go around here.... */ /* ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ */ height: 100 }, // ------------------------------------------------------------------ // WEST // ------------------------------------------------------------------ { region: 'west', xtype: 'panel', split: true, resizeable: false, maxWidth : 350, minWidth : 349, collapsible: true, title: 'Gazetteer Explorer', width: 350, minSize: 150, // -------------------------------------------------------------- title: 'Nested Layout', layout: 'border', border: false, id: "west", items: [ { // *********************************************** // Search Form // *********************************************** region : "north", height: 300, split : true, id : "left-form-panel", items : [{ xtype : "form", id : "search-form", items : [ // Authority combo box // =============================== { xtype : "combo", fieldLabel : "Authority", name : "authority", hiddenName : "authority", id : "authority-combo" }, // =============================== // Search Fieldset // =============================== { xtype : "fieldset", autoHeight : true, title : "Search by...", id : "search-fieldset", items : [ // Ref Number text Box // %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% { xtype : "textfield", name : "ref-number", fieldLabel : "Ref.   • .net XML serialization: how to specify an array's root element and child element names

    - by Jeremy
    Consider the following serializable classes: class Item {...} class Items : List
{...} class MyClass { public string Name {get;set;} public Items MyItems {get;set;} } I want the serialized output to look like: <MyClass>
<ItemValues> <ItemValue></ItemValue> <ItemValue></ItemValue> <ItemValue></ItemValue> </ItemValues> </MyClass> Notice the element names ItemValues and ItemValue doesn't match the class names Item and Items, assuming I can't change the Item or Items class, is there any why to specify the element names I want, by modifying the MyClass Class?

  • How can I force a tree itemrenderer to redraw during a drag and drop operation?

    - by swidnikk
    I have a tree control with a custom item renderer. The item renderer has different states that should be set while an item is being dragged over the item renderer. I understand from reading this post http://forums.adobe.com/message/2091088 that the 'right way' to do this is to override the 'getCurrentState' method and append some text. I do that. Now in my tree control I handle the drag over event and get a reference to the itemrenderer that is being dragged over and I set the boolean 'dragOver' property to true. Now I just need to force my itemRenderer to redraw. I can't figure that out. A workaround, is to just set the currentState of the itemRenderer. My question then, how can I force my itemRenderer to refresh? (and I've tried calling validateNow, invalideDisplayList/Properties/Size, to no avail) <s:MXTreeItemRenderer xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"> <fx:Script> import mx.events.DragEvent; import mx.events.FlexEvent; import spark.layouts.supportClasses.DropLocation; public var dragOver:Boolean = false; override protected function getCurrentRendererState():String { var skinState:String = super.getCurrentRendererState(); if( dragOver ) skinState += "AndDragOver"; trace('getCurrentRendererState', skinState); return skinState; } </fx:Script> <s:states> <s:State name="normal" /> <s:State name="hovered" /> <s:State name="selected" /> <s:State name="normalAndDragOver" stateGroups="dragOverGroup" /> <s:State name="hoveredAndDragOver" stateGroups="dragOverGroup" /> <s:State name="selectedAndDragOver" stateGroups="dragOverGroup" /> </s:states> ...

  • Building a template to auto-scaffold Index views in ASP.NET MVC

    - by DanM
    I'm trying to write an auto-scaffolder for Index views. I'd like to be able to pass in a collection of models or view-models (e.g., IQueryable<MyViewModel>) and get back an HTML table that uses the DisplayName attribute for the headings (th elements) and Html.Display(propertyName) for the cells (td elements). Each row should correspond to one item in the collection. Here's what I have so far: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl" %> <% var items = (IQueryable<TestProj.ViewModels.TestViewModel>)Model; // Should be generic! var properties = items.First().GetMetadata().Properties .Where(pm => pm.ShowForDisplay && !ViewData.TemplateInfo.Visited(pm)); %>

<% foreach(var property in properties) { %>
<%= property.DisplayName %>
<% } %>
<% foreach(var item in items) { %>
<% foreach(var property in properties) { %>
<%= Html.Display(property.DisplayName) %> // This doesn't work!
<% } %>
<% } %>
Two problems with this: I'd like it to be generic. So, I'd like to replace var items = (IQueryable<TestProj.ViewModels.TestViewModel>)Model; with var items = (IQueryable<T>)Model; or something to that effect. The
elements are not working because the Html in <%= Html.Display(property.DisplayName) %> contains the model for the view, which is a collection of items, not the item itself. Somehow, I need to obtain an HtmlHelper object whose Model property is the current item, but I'm not sure how to do that. How do I solve these two problems?

  • google maps api v3 - loop through overlays - overlayview methods

    - by user317005
    what's wrong with the code below? when i execute it, the map doesn't even show up. but when i put the overlayview methods outside the for-loop and manually assign a lat/lng then it magically works?! but does anyone know how i can loop through an array of lats/lngs (=items) using the overlayview methods? i hope this makes sense, just don't know how else to explain it. and unfortunately, i run my code on my localhost var overlay; OverlayTest.prototype = new google.maps.OverlayView(); [taken out: options] var map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById('map_canvas'), options); var items = [ ['lat','lng'],['lat','lng'] ]; for (var i = 0; i < items.length; i++) { var latlng = new google.maps.LatLng(items[i][0], items[i][1]); var bounds = new google.maps.LatLngBounds(latlng); overlay = new OverlayTest(map, bounds); function OverlayTest(map, bounds) { [taken out: not important] this.setMap(map); } OverlayTest.prototype.onAdd = function() { [taken out: not important] } OverlayTest.prototype.draw = function() { [taken out: not important] } }

  • ASP.Net Entity Framework Repository & Linq

    - by Chris Klepeis
    My scenario: This is an ASP.NET 4.0 web app programmed via C# I implement a repository pattern. My repositorys all share the same ObjectContext, which is stored in httpContext.Items. Each repository creates a new ObjectSet of type E. Heres some code from my repository: public class Repository<E> : IRepository<E>, IDisposable where E : class { private DataModelContainer _context = ContextHelper<DataModelContainer>.GetCurrentContext(); private IObjectSet<E> _objectSet; private IObjectSet<E> objectSet { get { if (_objectSet == null) { _objectSet = this._context.CreateObjectSet<E>(); } return _objectSet; } } public IQueryable<E> GetQuery() { return objectSet; } Lets say I have 2 repositorys, 1 for states and 1 for countrys and want to create a linq query against both. Note that I use POCO classes with the entity framework. State and Country are 2 of these POCO classes. Repository stateRepo = new Repository<State>(); Repository countryRepo = new Repository<Country>(); IEnumerable<State> states = (from s in _stateRepo.GetQuery() join c in _countryRepo.GetQuery() on s.countryID equals c.countryID select s).ToList(); Debug.WriteLine(states.First().Country.country) essentially, I want to retrieve the state and the related country entity. The query only returns the state data... and I get a null argument exception on the Debug.WriteLine LazyLoading is disabled in my .edmx... thats the way I want it.

  • JScript.NET private variables

    - by Paul Podlipensky
    I'm wondering about JScript.NET private variables. Please take a look on the following code: import System; import System.Windows.Forms; import System.Drawing; var jsPDF = function(){ var state = 0; var beginPage = function(){ state = 2; out('beginPage'); } var out = function(text){ if(state == 2){ var st = 3; } MessageBox.Show(text + ' ' + state); } var addHeader = function(){ out('header'); } return { endDocument: function(){ state = 1; addHeader(); out('endDocument'); }, beginDocument: function(){ beginPage(); } } } var j = new jsPDF(); j.beginDocument(); j.endDocument(); Output: beginPage 2 header 2 endDocument 2 if I run the same script in any browser, the output is: beginPage 2 header 1 endDocument 1 Why it is so?? Thanks, Paul.

  • Ext JS how to tell PagingToolbar to use parent Grid storage?

    - by Nazariy
    I'm trying to build application that use single config passed by server as non native JSON (can contain functions). Everything works fine so far but I'm curious why PagingToolbar does not have an option to use parent Grid store? I have tried to set store in my config like this, but without success: {... store:Ext.StoreMgr.lookup('unique_store_id') } Is there any way to do so without writing tons of javascript for each view defining store, grid and other items in my application or at least extend functionality of PaginationToolbar that use options from parent object? UPDATED, Here is short example of server response (minified) { "xtype":"viewport", "layout":"border", "renderTo":Ext.getBody(), "autoShow":true, "id":"mainFrame", "defaults":{"split":true,"useSplitTips":true}, "items":[ {"region":"center", "xtype":"panel", "layout":"fit", "id":"content-area", "items":{ "id":"manager-panel", "region":"center", "xtype":"tabpanel", "activeItem":0, "items":[ { "xtype":"grid", "id":"domain-grid", "title":"Manage Domains", "store":{ "xtype":"arraystore", "id":"domain-store", "fields":[...], "autoLoad":{"params":{"controller":"domain","view":"store"}}, "url":"index.php" }, "tbar":[...], "bbar":{ "xtype":"paging", "id":"domain-paging-toolbar", "store":Ext.StoreMgr.lookup('domain-store') }, "columns":[...], "selModel":new Ext.grid.RowSelectionModel({singleSelect:true}), "stripeRows":true, "height":350, "loadMask":true, "listeners":{ "cellclick":activateDisabledButtons } } ] }, } ] }

  • Gridview sorting: SortDirection always Ascending

    - by Julien N
    Hi ! I have a gridview and I need to sort its elements when the user clicks on the header. Its datasource is a List object. The aspx is defined this way : <asp:GridView ID="grdHeader" AllowSorting="true" AllowPaging="false" AutoGenerateColumns="false" Width="780" runat="server" OnSorting="grdHeader_OnSorting" EnableViewState="true"> <Columns> <asp:BoundField DataField="Entitycode" HeaderText="Entity" SortExpression="Entitycode" /> <asp:BoundField DataField="Statusname" HeaderText="Status" SortExpression="Statusname" /> <asp:BoundField DataField="Username" HeaderText="User" SortExpression="Username" /> </Columns> </asp:GridView> The code behind is defined this way : First load : protected void btnSearch_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { List<V_ReportPeriodStatusEntity> items = GetPeriodStatusesForScreenSelection(); this.grdHeader.DataSource = items; this.grdHeader.DataBind(); } when the user clicks on headers : protected void grdHeader_OnSorting(object sender, GridViewSortEventArgs e) { List<V_ReportPeriodStatusEntity> items = GetPeriodStatusesForScreenSelection(); items.Sort(new Helpers.GenericComparer<V_ReportPeriodStatusEntity>(e.SortExpression, e.SortDirection)); grdHeader.DataSource = items; grdHeader.DataBind(); } My problem is that e.SortDirection is always set to Ascending. I have webpage with a similar code and it works well, e.SortDirection alternates between Ascending and Descending. What did I do wrong ?

  • Wix Burn issue: Uninstall fails saying "Found dependent"

    - by vivek chaurasiya
    I have made a burn bundle which encapsulates 2 msi (msi1 , msi2) . In the UI I use checkboxes to ask the user to select which MSI to install. Now if user selects one of the msi to install, installation goes fine. But during Uninstall action, the burn log file says : [][:15]: Detected package: Netfx4Full, state: Present, cached: None [][:15]: Detected package: DummyInstallationPackageId3, state: **Absent**, cached: None [][:15]: Detected package: msi2.msi, state: **Present**, cached: Complete [][:15]: Detect complete, result: 0x0 [][:16]: Plan 3 packages, action: Uninstall [][:16]: Will not uninstall package: msi2.msi, found dependents: 1 [][:16]: Found dependent: {08e74372-83f2-4594-833b-e924b418b360}, name: My Test Application In the install scenario, I chose to install msi2 and NOT msi1. My bundle code looks like: <Bundle Name="My Test Application" Version="1.0.0.0" Manufacturer="Bryan" UpgradeCode="CC2A383C-751A-43B8-90BF-A250F7BC2863"> <Chain> <PackageGroupRef Id='Netfx4Full' /> <MsiPackage Id="DummyInstallationPackageId3" SourceFile="msi1.msi" ForcePerMachine="yes" InstallCondition="var1 = 1" > </MsiPackage> <MsiPackage SourceFile="msi2.msi" Vital="yes" Cache="yes" Visible="no" ForcePerMachine="yes" InstallCondition="var2 = 2" > </MsiPackage> </Chain> My OnDetectPackageComplete() looks like: private void OnDetectPackageComplete(object sender, DetectPackageCompleteEventArgs e) { if (e.PackageId == "DummyInstallationPackageId3" ) { if (e.State == PackageState.Absent) InstallEnabled = true; else if (e.State == PackageState.Present) UninstallEnabled = true; } } What should I do so that the burn bundle is freely able to uninstall the msi which the user selected at the time of install. Besides, If I select both msi to install, then uninstall is working fine. IMO, there is some problem b/w the relation of bundle and the 2 msi. Please help me as I am stuck with this problem.

  • Simple forloop - Python

    - by RadiantHex
    Hi folks, this is probably too simple of a question, but here I go. I have paginated items, each page contains 100 items. The program fetches items till it reaches the item index specified within item_num This is what I have: item_num = 56 range(0, item_num/100 + (item_num%100 > 0)): get_next_100() I'm not really sure about the (item_num%100 0) boolean I used. Is there anything wrong with what I did?

  • iPhone:Tabbar item actions are not happening

    - by user187532
    Hello all, I created a window application, which has a tabbar controller with four tabbar items. Each tabbar items are linked with a tableview. I have also set Navigation bar for each tabbar items. I have appdelegate file, which calls the first tableview controller of which is set for first tabbar item. I am trying to retrieve and do an action whenever a tabbar item is clicked. For that, i tried to add "- (void)tabBar:(UITabBar *)tabBar didSelectItem:(UITabBarItem *)item" and "- (void)tabBarController:(UITabBarController *)tabBarController didSelectViewController:(UITableViewController *)viewController" in my first tableview controller, but it is not at all responding whenever i click any tabbar items. My question is, if i create a window based application and added tabbar controller, tableview and navigation bar in .XIB file, is it not possible to access and do an action programatically whenever a tabbar item is clicked? (or) Am i doing anything wrong? Please help me to resolve this and share your ideas. Thanks.

  • Castle MonoRail ARDataBind trying to bind to non-existent row

    - by dave thieben
    I have a shopping cart application running on MonoRail and using Castle ActiveRecord/NHibernate, and there is a ShoppingCart table and a ShoppingCartItems table, which are mapped to entities. Here's the scenario: a user adds things to the shopping cart, say 5 items, and goes to view the cart. The cart shows all 5 items. the user duplicates the tab/window and gets another tab of the same cart (call it tab B). the user removes an item from the cart, so now there are 4 items in tab B, but in the original tab A, there are still 5 items. the user goes back to tab A, and updates something in the cart and clicks the "update" button which submits the changes. my MonoRail action tries to do an ARDataBind on ShoppingCartItems using the data from the view, which includes all 5 items. when it gets to the item that the user deleted from tab B, it throws a "No row with the given identifier exists" for that item. I can't figure out if there is a way to have it not bind that row, return null, return new instance, etc.? there is an AutoLoadBehavior parameter on the ARDataBind attribute, but that appears to only affect loading of child entities, and not the root entity. regardless of which option I choose, I get the exception before control even enters the action method (except AutoLoadBehavior.Never, but that doesn't really help me). instead, I have code that calls Request.ObtainParamsNode() to pull the form nodes and parse them manually into objects, and ignores the ones that no longer exist. is there a better way? thanks.

  • .NET 3.5 Listbox Selected Values (Winforms)

    - by Jimbo
    I am BATTLING to get the selected values (please note VALUES not TEXT) from a Winforms Listbox that has multi-select enabled and has been bound to a database table getting the Name (as DisplayMember) and ID (as ValueMember) - I need the ID of the selected items. The listbox control has properties for SelectedValue to get one of the selected items values, but not for all selected items values. The SelectedItems property returns a Listbox.SelectedObjectCollection from which I cannot seem to extract the VALUES of the items. Please help! Thanks.

  • Auto-scaffolding an "index" view in ASP.NET MVC

• WPF, TreeView bug, can't select root item after item removed from treeview

    - by user275587
    I have a very weird bug in a three level deep TreeView. It is intermittent and I can't find how to reproduce it consistently. After programmatically removing, adding then removing some third level items, when I click on the root item it isn't selected. It can still expand/collapse but can't be selected with a mouse click and it doesn't fire ItemSelectionChange event. You can click to select a second level or third level items and after that you're finally able to select the root item. I've tried to set IsSelected = false for all items after removing and tried to do a nice clean-up when removing items but it doesn't help. Did anybody run into that bug? Do you have any suggestions to remove this bug?

  • Dojo extending dojo.dnd.Source, move not happening. Ideas?

    - by Soulhuntre
    Hey all, Ok... I have a simple dojo page with the bare essentials. Three UL's with some LI's in them. The idea si to allow drag-n-drop among them but if any UL goes empty due to the last item being dragged out, I will put up a message to the user to gie them some instructions. In order to do that, I wanted to extend the dojo.dnd.Source dijit and add some intelligence. It seemed easy enough. To keep things simple (I am loading Dojo from a CDN) I am simply declating my extension as opposed to doing full on module load. The declaration function is here... function declare_mockupSmartDndUl(){ dojo.require("dojo.dnd.Source"); dojo.provide("mockup.SmartDndUl"); dojo.declare("mockup.SmartDndUl", dojo.dnd.Source, { markupFactory: function(params, node){ //params._skipStartup = true; return new mockup.SmartDndUl(node, params); }, onDndDrop: function(source, nodes, copy){ console.debug('onDndDrop!'); if(this == source){ // reordering items console.debug('moving items from us'); // DO SOMETHING HERE }else{ // moving items to us console.debug('moving items to us'); // DO SOMETHING HERE } console.debug('this = ' + this ); console.debug('source = ' + source ); console.debug('nodes = ' + nodes); console.debug('copy = ' + copy); return dojo.dnd.Source.prototype.onDndDrop.call(this, source, nodes, copy); } }); } I have a init function to use this to decorate the lists... dojo.addOnLoad(function(){ declare_mockupSmartDndUl(); if(dojo.byId('list1')){ //new mockup.SmartDndUl(dojo.byId('list1')); new dojo.dnd.Source(dojo.byId('list1')); } if(dojo.byId('list2')){ new mockup.SmartDndUl(dojo.byId('list2')); //new dojo.dnd.Source(dojo.byId('list2')); } if(dojo.byId('list3')){ new mockup.SmartDndUl(dojo.byId('list3')); //new dojo.dnd.Source(dojo.byId('list3')); } }); It is fine as far as it goes, you will notice I left "list1" as a standard dojo dnd source for testing. The problem is this - list1 will happily accept items from lists 2 & 3 who will move or copy as apprriate. However lists 2 & 3 refuce to accept items from list1. It is as if the DND operation is being cancelled, but the debugger does show the dojo.dnd.Source.prototype.onDndDrop.call happening, and the paramaters do look ok to me. Now, the documentation here is really weak, so the example I took some of this from may be way out of date (I am using 1.4). Can anyone fill me in on what might be the issue with my extension dijit? Thanks!
