• Installer script removed a buch of 64-bit files and replaced them with 32-bit ones, how do I get them back?

  I ran this installer script to get some drivers for my printer, however I noticed that it started removing some of my programs, as well as 64-bit system files, and started replacing them with 32-bit ones! Luckily, I managed to cancel the operation before it did any serious damage. I also noticed that offical PPA's for 32-bit files were added. Should I remove them? So how do I get these files back?

• Outlook 2007 freezes my system when I start it says it is "synchonizing folders"

  When I try to start Outlook 2007, my system freezes, and Outlook says it is "synchonizing folders". I don't use exchange, and haven't seen any answers online. I've tried turning off the exchange integration (right clicking my folders) Since doing the latter, there is no longer an icon in the system tray when this is frozen (there was before) UPDATE: It seems my anti-virus program (comodo) was what was actually locking during Outlook file synch. I disabled that, and things seemed to settle down.

  Hey guys I have this piece of code which works 90% of the time: $user_details=$fb-api_client-users_getInfo($fb_user, array('last_name','first_name','proxied_email')); $firstName=$user_details[0]['first_name']; But sometimes I get this error: Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array for line $firstName=$user_details[0]['first_name']; I have read several people report the same issue - but I'm still not clear as to what is the reason - Am I getting this error because facebook is not returning any results or am I getting because it is returning only a single array instead of array of arrays. This is the fix I'm thinking of: if (!is_array($user_details)) { $firstName=''; } else { $firstName = ($user_details[0]) ? $user_details[0]['first_name'] : $user_details['first_name']; } Also if I'm not getting the name - is it because of a timeout issue or something else?   When I tried to run ruby -v or gem -v (or any other command), I get: dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _ruby_run Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/ruby Expected in: /usr/lib/libruby.dylib dyld: Symbol not found: _ruby_run Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/ruby Expected in: /usr/lib/libruby.dylib This is after I ran rvm system to temporally switch to the system default Ruby. RVM is working fine, but I have a special need to install a gem to the system Ruby and I can't because of this problem. Does anyone know why? It seems to be some kind of link problem to Ruby, but I'm don't know how to solve this. I ran which ruby and it's at this point located in "/usr/local/bin/ruby". I checked the Ruby in "/usr/lib/" and it's pointing to my system Ruby: "../../System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/Current/usr/lib/ruby" Any help would be appreciated.

  Late last week I upgraded CC.NET locally and on the build server. The build server is still fine, but locally I am now getting the following error: Exception Details: Exortech.NetReflector.NetReflectorTypeLoadException: Unable to load types from assembly System.ServiceModel, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089: Failed to load 1 of the 3612 types defined in the assembly. I'm afraid this started after a batch of Windows updates this morning. I had another two updates that won't run, 979909 and 982168 (I had an update that wouldn't run last month). But I got the error on using System.Web.UI; using System.Web.UI.WebControl; I have tried to add System.Web as Reference but that still doesn't resolve the stuff. I can't see System.Web.UI and System.Web.UI.WebControl in the reference lists is this normal ? Thanks.

I have tried using: JSONArray jArray = new JSONArray(); while(itr.hasNext()){ int objId = itr.next(); jArray.put(objId, odao.getObjectName(objId)); } results = jArray.toString(); Note: odao.getObjectName(objId) retrieves a name based on the "object Id" which is called objId However I get a very funny looking array like [null,null,null,"SomeValue",null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,"AnotherValue",null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,"SomethingElse","AnotherOne","LastOne"] With only "LastOne" being displayed when I retrieve it using jQuery. The Array SHould look like {["3":"SomeValue"],["40":"AnotherValue"],["23":"SomethingElse"],["9":"AnotherOne"],["1":"LastOne"]} The numbers aren't showing up at all for some reason in the array that I am getting

  Hi I've been trying to figure out how to put something like Joe's Fruits into a PHP array something like this: <?php $arr = array( 'Fruitland' => '3ddlskdf3', 'Joe's Fruits' => 'dddfdfer3', ); ?> Using the above for example (stackoverflow's code color should tell you this by now), the array will take it as 'Joe' between the two apostrophes instead of the whole 'Joe's Fruits' is there any way I can do this without just calling it 'Joes Fruits'?

It is incredibly large (10+ G), and annoying to backup remotely. is there a way to take a full system state, and then do like a weekly incremental? I know the wbadmin tool, but its options are limited. I'm also looking for the option to remove the 2nd or 3rd oldest backup.

  I'm trying to use array type in llvm and can't get a hold of it yet. As far as I can understand from documentation, array should grow all by itself. But how does it happen, should I just getelementptr with whatever index I have and it'll grow so that index will still be in bounds? That's not what happens, I get all sorts of funny problems which hide away the moment I create array big enough to accommodate all my data. • web.config inheritance problem

  Hello everyone, I am having an issue when I try and prevent inhertiance from a parent web.config down to a child specifically related to the node. My parent web.config contains about a dozen appSettings values while my child web.config contains none. Now, I originally began wrapping around only my system.net, web, etc nodes however when I ran my child application I recieved the following error: The configuration section 'appSettings' cannot be read because it is missing a section declaration I really wasn't sure what this meant and a google search didn't yield me any decent results so I attempted to move the location node to also encompass the field in my parent web.config but to no avail. My child web.config is pretty vanilla so I am not sure what the problem is. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. • jQuery Javascript array 'contains' functionality?

  I'm trying to use the jQuery $.inArray function to iterate through an array and if there's an element whose text contains a particular keyword, remove that element. $.inArray is only returning the array index though if the element's text is equal to the keyword. For example given the following array named 'tokens': - tokens {...} Object [0] "Starbucks^25^http://somelink" String [1] "McDonalds^34^" String [2] "BurgerKing^31^https://www.somewhere.com" String And a call to removeElement(tokens, 'McDonalds'); would return the following array: - tokens {...} Object [0] "Starbucks^25^http://somelink" String [1] "BurgerKing^31^https://www.somewhere.com" String I'm guessing this may be possible using the jQuery $.grep or $.each function, or maybe regex. However, I'm not familiar enough with jQuery to accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated!

• SQL: convert tokens in a string or elements of an array into rows of a table

  Is there a simple way in SQL to convert a string or an array to rows of a table? For example, let's stay the string is 'a,b,c,d,e,f,g'. I'd prefer an SQL statement that takes that string, splits it at commas and inserts the resulting strings into a table. In PostgreSQL I can use regexp_split_to_array() and split the string into an array. So, if you know a way to insert an array's elements as rows into a table, that would work too.

An example of the array: 0 2 2 0 0 0 1 2 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 I think I need to use a recursive technique to find a path; below is some pseudocode, assuming that the array is 4x4. a is (0,0), b is (3,3). function search(a,b) from a to b if element(i,j) != 0 then store value of element search(j,3) I was wondering if that was the right construction for a depth first search. • AJAX call in for loop won't return values to correct array positions

  I need to get a range of pages using AJAX and put them into an array, where their given place in the array is equal to the i of a for loop (it's a caching-like function for blog pages, and the range of the for loop is entirely variable). I'm doing something akin to the following: var bongo = new Array(); for (i = 0; i < 10; i++) { jQuery.ajax({ type: "GET", url: http://localhost, data: queryString, success: function(request) { bongo[i] = request } }) } The problem is, that unless I add async: false to the .ajax options (which would make it... SJAX?), which causes the requests to basically pause the browser, going against what I'm trying to do, the i in the success callback will always end up being 11, whereas I of course want it to pour the returned data into each slot of the array from 0 to 10. I've tried replacing the line with this: bongo[i] = jQuery.ajax({ type: "GET", url: http://localhost, data: queryString }).responseText But that made no difference.
